In this latest chapter of the Labyrinths of the World series, travel to the legendary Devil’s Tower and prevent an otherworldly evil force from destroying the world! This is the 6th installment of the Domini games series that takes you on another adventure playing the role of a "seeker" traveling to yet another world to battle unearthly evil. You play the role of Tritta and with all your success in the previous editions of the series it's time to initiate you sister Margaret now that she's ready to be a "seeker" too. Margaret has proven herself worthy and it's time for initiation. The only problem you face is an adversary who commands all known elements. Water, Fire, Air, and Earth. His name is Sanderion and he literally grows crystals to control uninitiated "seekers". His desire for ultimate power in the universe is a force like no other. Now he has chosen to claim The Crystal World. The Crystal Worlds army couldn't resist Sanderion's countless hordes. When the defenders of the Crystal World were defeated, Sanderion defiled the worlds heart with his darkness. Yikes! Now every crystal contains a piece of his curse and he uses these crystals to store the memories of enslaved peoples of the Crystal World. The fate of the planet rests with you and your sister (in training) Margaret. You must act fast and use all of your knowledge solving intense puzzles and super creative hidden object scenes before Sanderion turns both of you into crystal dust!!! The storyline isn't a new concept for this Sci-fi thriller but it is enjoyable nonetheless. The time it takes to complete the entire adventure is about 4 hours. I really enjoyed this newest edition of Labyrinths of the world even though their are other installments in the series one may enjoy more. Here's the list of the other editions in the series. Play them all if this genre of casual gaming is something you love. Cheers!
•Labyrinths of the World: Shattered Soul (2014) •Labyrinths of the World: Forbidden Muse (2015) •Labyrinths of the World: Changing the Past (2016) •Labyrinths of the World: Stonehenge (2016) •Labyrinths of the World: Secrets of Easter Island (2017) •Labyrinths of the World: The Devils Tower (2017)
Step into the shoes of a young shield-maiden in the first installment of a brand new fantasy, Saga of the 9 worlds: The Gathering from Eipix Entertainment! As your drakkar sails the misty sea, the dragon you were hunting rains fire from above. But the gods have other plans for you. Gather a company of trusty allies as you uncover sinister plans that light the spark of ancient rivalries, and traverse the Nine Realms, from northern landscape of the world of men, the fiery forges of the dwarven realm, and inhospitable, barren world of giants, to the high halls of Asgard, home of the gods! Wow, this is an epic adventure. One which I could not even break from playing, because I was so enamored with both the story and the game play mechanics. Eipix really developed a truly creative game which could easily have been chosen for Editor's Choice award. The only concern is that the theme and subject matter may not appeal to all fans of Eipix's games. If you do enjoy this genre than undoubtedly this is your game. This new endeavor by Eipix's development team has great potential. It will be interesting to see what the overall rating for this release will be. Though reviews are subjective, this series is extremely creative and unique; worthy of a 5 star rating. Cheers!
Many establishments from around the world have a reputation of being spooky or even haunted, although most of the time it’s just a marketing scheme designed to attract tourists. Some of these stories are not complete inventions, on the other hand, at least not in terms of history. Hence, there probably are a few hotels where gruesome murders have taken place, even if the ghost parts are made up. That said, I am a huge fan of this creepy series. Haunted Hotel: Personal Nightmare is a hidden object adventure game in which you play the role of a man trying to help his mother and sister get out of a weird situation. There are quite a few horror elements waiting for you along the way and you tackle different challenges along the way. To begin with, it all starts when the main character receives a message from his mother and sister who are calling him to a hotel. Once he gets there, it turns out that the hotel in question is far from normal, especially since a very evil being owns it. Thus, you actually trade your soul when you sign for the room, which gives the demons free reign over you and puts your life in tremendous danger. The gameplay is pretty much as you expect it to be, especially if you are a hardcore fan of the genre. As such, everything revolves around being able to spot useful items around the environment, as well as using these items to solve puzzles. Although the puzzles in question are nothing too original in terms of mechanics, they can be pretty challenging sometimes. The environments are indeed nicely colored and pretty detailed, but they are also static and a tad repetitive after a point. The saving grace comes in the form of various special effects that help with the atmosphere, including short animations and overlapping images. This particular episode in the series might just scare you a bit and for me that's an added bonus. All things considered, Haunted Hotel: Personal Nightmare does everything right in terms of gameplay. Furthermore, the horror elements are very nicely integrated with everything else. Maybe ludiatophobia or Venatophobia won't hamper casual gamers from at least trying the demo. I thoroughly enjoy the entire game. I love all the Haunted Hotel games and have played them all. Cheers!
•Haunted Hotel •Haunted Hotel: Believe the Lies •Haunted Hotel: Lonely Dream •Haunted Hotel: Charles Dexter Ward •Haunted Hotel: Eclipse •Haunted Hotel: Ancient Bane •Haunted Hotel: Death Sentence •Haunted Hotel: Eternity •Haunted Hotel: Phoenix •Haunted Hotel: The X •Haunted Hotel: The Axiom Butcher •Haunted Hotel: Silent Water's •Haunted Hotel: The Thirteenth •Haunted Hotel: Personal Nightmare
From the dream team that brought New York Mysteries and Lost Lands comes another epic master piece. Darkness and Flame: Missing Memories. This sequel to Darkness and Flame: Born of Fire is an awesome adventure equally as stunning as it's predecessor. This was a must buy for me. Another excellent episode in the Darkness and Flame series, and although it doesn’t actually continue the same story, it certainly features the same main characters and just enough familiarity to make old fans feel welcome. However, the mechanics are anything but original. As far as the story is concerned, it all revolves around Alice and her uncle Colin, who is suffering from nightmares in which a woman is asking for his help. Unfortunately, he cannot remember her name or anything else, so it’s pretty frustrating, which is why he decides to send Alice on a quest to find a healer and recover his memories. Even if the plot is pretty predictable and simple, the adventure is quite fun and enjoyable. There are a few surprises in terms of puzzles, but most of them should be familiar to the fans of the genre. Most of them challenge you to spot the right pattern and apply it until the lock is open, but there are hidden object sequences as well, and quite a few variations on the theme. The graphics are particularly nice, especially when it comes to level design. The attention to detail makes every scene appear more lively than it really is, not to mention the nice soundtrack and the decent cut-scenes that present the story. All things considered, Darkness and Flame: Missing Memories has what it takes to be fun for a couple hours. In addition, it’s quite colorful and nicely designed, which helps with the overall atmosphere. I love the genre this adventure falls under and I really hope this series continues with more editions. Cheers!
Fantasy stories usually involve a lot of ludicrous concepts, but then again that’s why they are called “fantasy.” I think people enjoy adventures that involve knights, dragons and magic spells, especially when the good guys manage to save the day in the end. HOPA games are a great way for fantasy buffs to play an active part in such stories, which is why they are so beloved. Daily Magic's latest adventure (5th in the series) is a hidden object adventure game that allows you to go on a great journey and deal with evil ghosts while you are it. You play the role of a detective named Leia. The story revolves around a duke who’s trying to collect every piece of a legendary armor set, except that the said armor belonged to people who are now coming back from the death for it. Things really get interesting when you learn that the insane King Frieder has summoned his Knights (the cursed guards) from the grave to aid in his evil plan. Two ancient relics must be found and placed where (the cursed guards) died in order to revive them. Beware of the Black Knight when you reach that part of the adventure. He is a force to behold and you must stop him. Naturally, Leia is in charge of investigating the mystery in question, and you are not alone. Leia has Mr. Jenkins to lend a paw with the investigation, which comes in handy when you need to reach into tight spots. The actual riddles usually require you to find a few objects before they can be solved, after which you have to take on the actual puzzles. Most of them are about finding the right pattern and applying it a couple of times, but there are more original ideas at work too. In addition, Mr. Jenkins the cat is integrated quite well into the whole thing, even if it’s very obvious when the kitty comes in handy. Mr. Jenkins is in every edition of Ominous Objects and I never tire of utilizing his help and I'm not a cat lover. LOL. As far as the graphics are concerned, you can rest assured that everything looks as dreamy as you might imagine. Each landscape is unique and very detailed, making it very easy to get into the proper mood for the story. Even the cut-scenes are nicely done, and the special effects added on top work like a charm as well. Lastly, the soundtrack is not bad either, and the voice acting is really believable. Ominous Objects: The Cursed Guards is not overly original in terms of gameplay, but it has the necessary elements to keep you busy for a long time. On top of that, this edition is a memorable adventure with a great story interesting enough to be worth a complete play through as well. Some Ominous Object adventures are better than others, I happen to enjoy the ENTIRE SERIES. Demo this one to see if you will like this edition, it really is one of the better installments. Check out all the releases in this popular serious and play them all...
•Ominous Objects: Family Portrait (2014) •Ominous Objects: Phantom Reflection (2015) •Ominous Objects: Trail of Time (2015) •Ominous Objects: Lumina Camera (2016) •Ominous Objects: The Cursed Guards (2017)
I really enjoyed this SE murder mystery. A ritual murder shocks a peaceful town and Detective Alicia must solve this mystery. She will need to encounter and overcome the vicious murderer. Alicia, a detective from a big city, visits a small town in the mountains for her vacation. But a murder took place and the local sheriff needs her help. To solve the mystery behind the ritual murder Alicia has to investigate the mountain town, a deep forest, an old mansion, an ancient graveyard and a hidden temple of the lost Mayan tribe where she will encounter and try to overcome a powerful and dangerous murderer. It was really challenging to solve this entire mystery but worth every moment. This SE was better than your average standard edition adventure. I hope more SE games like this will be offered a lot more on Big Fish. Cheers!
I never tire of playing the role of Emma Roberts and in this episode she really get's herself in quite the conundrum. Following up on a missing persons investigation, Emma finds herself chasing after Linda Swan and her brother Tim. In addition, people are being kidnapped and it's up to Emma and her phenomenal investigative journalism skills to get to the bottom of this fantastic suspense thriller. The chase ultimately takes you to a strange location known as "Drammond Island" as you follow clues left by Linda and Tim. One of the clues you stumble upon is a diary left by a woman named Clarissa Marlow. In the diary Clarissa mentions renowned psychotherapist Richard Diamond who apparently owns Drammond Island. Clarissa stands to inherit an eerie attraction called "The Abandoned House" on Drammond Island from Richard Diamond though she never writes what her relation is to him from the Will. She does discuss in her diary the terms of the Will. Clarissa's gain of the property is contingent on creating a "Reality Quest" per Richard's Will. When Emma arrives at the Island she/you encounter a huge wooden sign which reads: Welcome to "The Abandoned House" reality quest! Your task is to explore the house and it's surrounding areas to find hidden treasure. The person who finds the treasure can KEEP IT. You have 6 HOURS to complete your mission. Good Luck! This is where the adventure really began to scare me. You soon learn that Guests who participate in "explore Abandoned House Quest" must sign a non-disclosure agreement from Quest management. YIKES!!! You/Emma proceed into the property only to find CAPSULES containing captured/kidnapped people in the basement and a note from Clarissa. In the note Clarissa states that if she notifies anyone about what goes on in "Abandoned House" they will KILL HER!!! Totally freaked out at the delirious insanity of what You/Emma encounter; you now understand that you'll have to do everything in your power to solve the dilemma. This is going to be one heck of an issue once You/Emma complete this fantastic adventure and submits it to the magazine! Truly an amazing adventure you won't forget anytime soon. Give this edition a chance and see for yourself why I choose the 4.5/5 star rating. Cheers!

The bonus game give you another hour or more to totally complete this CE version. In the bonus adventure you take on Sanerion's evil brother Nokken in an under water adventure tasked with taking him down too! I really enjoyed this newest edition of Labyrinths of the world even though their are other installments in the series one may enjoy more. Here's the list of the other editions in the series. Play them all if this genre of casual gaming is something you love. Cheers!

This is a great come back for the 10th edition of Redemption Cemetery after the 9th game, "Redemption Cemetery: Night Terrors" released in February of 2017 was heavily criticized. That CE version ended up with a 3 star rating, but this edition seems to have received some, "How shall I put it?" Redemption? (LOL). ERS and their developers once again brain-bend the minds of casual gamers with their unique horror series that raises the bar for fans of this cult classic series! You'll want to rush to save the three (3) souls encased in pillars of stone because you only have until dawn, but take your time with this 4 hour adventure and enjoy it. Only the light of souls can dispel the darkness in the cemetery and keep hope alive during the night. One with a "pure soul" can locate the light of souls and illuminate their path from the evil Kyrkogrimm's devious plan. Upon meeting Astrid who is trapped inside the church of the cemetery, she tasks you with locating crystals to activate the souls of three cursed individuals. Placing the crystals in Astrid's altar activates a portal for each of the souls where you travel back in time to save them. Time travel portal is a recurring theme in all Redemption Cemetery editions. Pay close attention to Astrid; she holds a fascinating secret about Kykogrimm that you'll only discover by playing the adventure in it's entirety. Like the sign reads upon entering the cemetery, "Only once, only in light a mortal comes to the cemetery or darkness will TAKE THEM!" Fans will also really enjoy the bonus game where you must save your brother David or else he loses his soul. Exceptional production values, phenomenal sound effects, and tripped out hallucinogenic special effects await you. No one does horror like ERS. They really know how to set the industry standards for this genre. Kudo's to Big Fish and ERS for their outstanding games! Redemption Cemetery started as an interesting concept from Nate Webb, former Senior Director of Developer Relations at Big Fish. Isaias Vallejo was the Producer and he wrote up a concept proposal outlining the details of how the game would look and feel. Check out these editions and play all of them.....
