Labyrinths of the World: Forbidden Muse is the follow up to Labyrinths of the World: Shattered Soul, but it doesn't measure up to the first installment. Your quest is to help a Muse named Calliope restore her soul. Her soul has been split into 3 pieces in 3 locations. You encounter a man named Owen who yields an Amulet that opens the locations. You soon begin to wonder if Owen wants to help you retrieve the 3 essences (pieces# of her soul or does he have other plans? Along the journey you acquire a magic paintbrush to create life, a tuning fork to disperse evil, and a book to banish creatures. With your side kick Harlequin #a weird little doll you change clothes/gear) who helps you retrieve inventory, you progress thru each location. It's not a new story, but I did enjoy it. I just enjoyed Shattered Soul more.
CE bling is the usual with collectable olive branches and coins, extras, ect. Bonus Chapter is not relative. Demo before purchasing.

This epic adventure has managed to captivate me from the start to the end. While the story of a lost mother in a magical fantasy land might not sound so intriguing, the way the story develops in this particular game is pretty interesting. By restoring and repairing the altars, the game allows you to switch between the real world and the Shadow Realm. Basically, there are two parallel worlds where actions in one world can affect the elements in the other.
Apart from the realm-switching feature, Shrouded Tales: The Spellbound Land also includes some nice twists. The six different magical spells, for instance, they can be earned once you have collected all the missing colored glowing collectibles - they are extremely helpful during your adventure and you tend to seek their accompany very often. Also, the interactive map is beautifully designed and the hidden object scenes come with superb interface.
In terms of the visuals and audio, Shrouded Tales is second to none. With its eye-catching artwork, enchanting special effects and spectacular sights; there was not a single moment of boredom when we were playing the game. The soundtracks are also very satisfying, they do not feel out of place or repetitive; at the same time, the voice overs are solid and easy to follow.
In contrast to all those positive aspects, Shrouded Tales: The Spellbound Land is definitely not the game for those who seek for some challenges. The gameplay in Shrouded Tales is most of the time, straightforward; although it is a very busy game with lots to do, the tasks are very demanding. Moreover, the puzzles are unique, very fun and creative.
No matter how easy the game might appear to you, let me assure you that Shrouded Tales: The Spellbound Land is not a short game. I completed the game in just a tiny bit over 8 hours, with an hour or so in the Bonus Chapter (not in the SE version). Along with the predictable extras, the Collector's Edition also consists of several cool features such as the Lost Pages that are humorous to read and the Final Quiz which is a smart addition.
This is indeed a spellbound game; from out-of-this-world visuals to a delightful gameplay, this game has it all. We have definitely enjoyed our time casting spells in Havenwick and cannot wait to return for some more goodness in the sequel!

I really enjoyed this 4th edition of Danse Macbre (Thin Ice). The story is original and the mystery deliver's longer than usual gameplay. The graphics could have been executed a little better but anymore I just purchase anything Eipix-Bigfish releases. I also love this new approach with the hidden object scene's. I found the lip-sync spot on and the puzzles were quite difficult. This 4th installment is my favorite. A must have for fans of this series!!!

It's up to you detective to solve a series of murders of the former prison guards in New York Mysteries: High Voltage Collector's Edition. ERS and Bigfish bring another edition of the cult classic series Haunted Legends: The Dark Wishes. Evil Saint Germaine returns as you play the role of the Professor. You must save two of your former students from a terrible destiny... Their names are Roberto and Lucia, and after they graduated from the Venetian University of Magic where you were their teacher, former students left Venice and travelled to Florence. There Roberto reached political success and became the Duke of Florence. In the same time Lucia advanced in magic and wizardry and finally created Philosopher’s Stone entrusted to Duke Roberto. They even invited you to their wedding, but looks like wedding will be cancelled! Lucia was found in Roberto’s house covered with blood and no sign of Roberto was found! Now she’s falsely accused of Roberto’s murder and only you can prevent her execution! You only have until Midnight before Lucia is beheaded. This installment of Haunted Legends is my favorite, yet I love and have played all of them. This point and click game is graphic, sinister, has perfect voice overs and excellent production values. I think fans will be blown away by the story...I totally loved it!!!

It really pains me to give this Developer a mediocre score, but it doesn't measure up to previous installments (Off The Record: Linden Shades, The Art of Deception, even The Italian affair. I remain a fan, but I recommend you demo this release before purchase.
I don't recommend this game.

Today is the time of this year’s film festival, and it’s a head-to-head contest of two most famous stars of the silver screen – Audrey Quinn, working at the Wolf Studios and Veronica Malone, the reigning femme fatale, who never shies away from the spotlight. Unlike her, Audrey never reveals information about her private life. Maybe that’s why Veronica Malone hired you to investigate what Audrey Quinn is hiding. Maybe during the festival in the VIP zone you will be able to find something important… What mysterious man was seen near the Audrey? The tragedy that occurs with Audrey soon takes a twisting turn as you progress thru your investigation. The conclusion of the game isn't what you expect and the story-line is less than predictable. Developers also have created more difficult Hidden object scenes and brain bending puzzles, which I appreciate. I love all the Final Cut editions and this one is worth playing multiple times. Eipix and Bigfish are "Creating Worlds" as they claim at the beginning of all their games. I love it!!!

Elephant developers and Bigfish have reached cult classic status with this edition in Grim Tales: The Final Suspect CE.There's been a murder in the house and you are not only the investigator – you’re also the only suspect! Your heroine Anna Gray awakened in the hospital. She remembers almost nothing about last evening, just some shred episodes: shadow on the wall, blood on the floor, corpse with her pruners in the back, calling to the police… and then darkness. Now playing the role of her niece Jackie Gray, Anna Gray will have to use her ability to see past time to find out, what happened in her house a few hours ago. Police believes that victim, Howard Kelly, just tried to rob Anna’s estate and she murdered him in self-defense. But are they right? The plot thickens when you begin investigating and experience flashbacks and ghostly appearances of Howard suggesting you murdered him, but did you? This point and click adventure is everything I want from this series! I hope Bigfish will continue producing Grim Tales. I have played all of them and will continue playing releases of this Awesome, Adult themed game!

Your quest is to find out what happened with your parents, which gone missing on their ship twenty years ago in Rite of Passage 4: The Lost Tides CE. Their yacht was called Everlast and they were traveling in the open sea, leaving you behind in the Oakmoore. They never returned and a rescue team was unable to find them. Now after twenty years of mourning your psychoanalyst has recommended you to let them go and move forward. But when you build a model of the Everlast in memory of your parents, a letter from Everlast reaches you! And this letter allows you to find Everlast, maybe even find your parents! But to do so you will have to commit dangerous journey through the seas, meeting demonic possession and even mermaids! I recommend this for all level of adult players. The graphics are stunning, the voice acting is flawless, and the story is very emotional (I cried). The bonus game is great too, again I was very emotional. I haven't enjoyed a game this fantastic in a long time. Thank you Bigfish....xox's
