Play the role of Eva and travel to Prague where you have just inherited a mysterious house from an unknown relative. Meet the Sinister Carl Schwarzenberg and his assistant Miss Anna and figure out their evil plan. With the help of your partner Adam you must learn about your heritage and discover the means to complete an ancient ritual to save yourself and the entire world. This point and click adventure is unique in the fact that you pan left and right through each scene. A map is included, which is great because you will need it to navigate the vast territory. The length of the game is close to 6 hours, with lots of puzzles, interactive hos, and good graphics. Voice acting could have been executed a bit better, but easy to over look. I really enjoyed this HOPA because of the level of challenge. Some beginners may want to demo before purchase. Highly recommend for seasoned players. I hope they produce a sequel to this game!!!

Take on the roll of Emily and help save you new friends the Lancaster family. Friends that is until evil darkness sets in and causes an epidemic infection. Fans of Steampunk, portal doors, and excellent graphics are sure to enjoy this 4th edition of House of 1000 doors. Armed with a gifted hand of light, a chronograph monocle that reveals, and a paintbrush to destroy objects to aid you in your quest. I total enjoyed this high octane adventure. Great unique HOS and puzzles which used lots of brain power, awesome lip sync vo's too. Jump map included but I didn't use, I like to remember where I need to return. Be sure to check out ACHIEVEMENTS, COLLECTIBLE EVIL FACES, Wallpapers, Concept Art, Music, Cut Scenes, the Making Of, a built in Strategy Guide and the Bonus Chapter!

In this edition it's your mission to put an end to the deadly rival of two illusionists in Galdor's Bluff. A few decades ago Sir Charles Galdor founded a glorious new town – Galdor’s Bluff. He was one of the greatest illusionists of his time and he had two apprentices. Their names are Roger Addington and Joseph Thurman. During all their trainings Thurman and Addington were competing for their master’s heart. But when Charles Galdor died, their competition reached a completely new level – they became rivals! Now during the last of Thurman’s show he died in the fire… or not? This is a real cliff hanger of a story that will engage you until the conclusion. The voiceover lip sync was the best I have seen in a long time and the bonus play is worth choosing the CE along with the usual achievements/collectables etc. I hope the series continues, this can't be the finale for this awesome trilogy.
I recommend this game!

It is a widespread belief that with great excess of wealth come a plethora of oddities. Therefore it doesn’t come as a surprise that the business magnate Reginald Greer had a few eccentricities of his own. One of those, admittedly mild peculiarities was the annual “murder party” the occasion at which all the guests are required to play the roles of suspects and sleuths at the same time, as they follow the clues to solve the staged murder case.
What came as a shock to everyone was the fact that supposedly staged murder turned out to be real. Reginald Greer has been found poisoned in the same way as described in the game scenario. The shocked guests are forced to stay within the premises as you, the experienced detective, arrive to solve the bizarre case. Was it the daughter Penelope, Lafarge the spiritualist, Mortimer business partner, Darvis the son, or Rickman the butler. Is it none of them? You won't be able to stop playing until you discover the truth...
Opinion : Liked the game a lot, no Tech difficulties, voiceovers were clear with lip sync., colours were bright, graphics suited the game theme. Liked how you questioned possible suspects...something new here and it was fun....again won't give too much away. Always a good idea to check out Achievements and Extras Tabs before starting games these days if you like to know all the Achievements and Morph/Collectibles.
Check out Dead Reckoning Silvermoon Isle too...

This is a vast departure from the Redemption Cemetery Series and I have played all of them. Perhaps the only common thread is that you portal thru time like the previous games. This version could have been titled "The Horror of Henry Havald". The story revolves around the Havald family and a threat referred to simply as (Evil Ghost). Objective is to simply reverse events and release three family ancestors from the vicious torment of Evil Ghost....ugh. You are guided on your quest by the Cemetery Keeper on the island but the entire story leaves you uninformed until you complete the bonus chapter. Fans who have played Grave Testimony and Curse of the Raven, as well as previous editions may be disappointed. Demo for yourself and see. I am still a fan of the entire series!!!
I recommend this game!

Witches' Legacy : Slumbering Darkness is the fifth in the series that follows the life of Carrie and her adopted witch daughter Lynn and their constant struggle against the evil witch Morgana. This time Morgana is set on bringing back her mentor THETIS so witches can rule the world. This is your standard hidden-object adventure story with everything ramped to eleven, the graphics, the animations, the gameplay, and especially the melodrama. Featuring hidden object scenes that have a variety of different ways to play including lists, silhouettes, categories, and lots of fun little puzzles hidden inside, this latest in the series continues to shine in the gameplay design, offering enough variety of puzzles and mini-games to keep the player occupied for hours.
While it serves up gorgeous graphics, cool animations, and hefty point-and-click casual gameplay, the best part of the latest Witches' Legacy is the ooey, gooey, massively over-the-top cheesy storyline. The back story of the series is revealed nicely as you go, so even if you haven't played any of the previous games, you don't feel like you're missing anything too important. Just point-and-click to navigate and find items to interact with. Items you pick up will automatically go into your inventory on the bottom of the screen, and items marked with a plus sign mean you can further interact with it, or join another item with it. There's not a ton of backtracking, and if you don't know where to go next you can use the map to jump to whichever scene you'd like, and helpfully, areas with something to do are marked with an exclamation point. If I learned anything from playing this game, it's that witches really love their emblems, symbols, and figurines. As you navigate the sometimes surreal landscape your goals consistently require you to discover missing bits of puzzles that have been magicked away or tucked into a hidden-object scene somewhere. The hidden-object scenes mix it up a bit, with silhouettes and mini puzzles stuck in there along with your regular list of objects to find. The game does a good job of making these scenes seem useful, leading you to find the next important thing you need to continue instead of just sorting through piles of trinkets for no good reason. Should you tire of finding objects, you can switch to a matching game instead. And if that isn't enough object hunting to satisfy you, keep your eye out for puzzle pieces and morphing objects in the scenes along the way. With side-quests of morphing objects, puzzle pieces, and toys for your companion imp to find as well as the standard objects needed for any adventure, Witches' Legacy: Slumbering Darkness offers tons of entertainment bang for your buck. Recommended for players of all levels!

I really enjoyed this edition of Danse Macabre. An intense investigation thriller, to find Marion Ashworth. Who is She? Which girl is she and what has she done? I can't praise developers and Bigfish enough for this release. Purchased it without even the demo. I own all their releases I could never wait for the SE. I recommend you play all 3.

The Mystery of Marie Roget gets weird in a hurry, which is actually a mark in its favour. If more games started off with people morphing into red-eyed ghost cats and everyone else being largely ambivalent about it, the world would be a better place. Since the source material was a rather cut-and-dry mystery, it's great to see ERS Game Studios having fun with it and taking it in different creative directions. It's a little corny, sure, but using the magic mirror to divine information from clues is a nice idea that jives well with the rest of the game's creep-tastic atmosphere. Suddenly shattering portraits, suspicious people cleaning knives in alleyways, and moody ghosts abound, all rendered in the developer's signature style, whose character models and environmental artwork work particularly well with this gloomy Victorian theme. The story is initially a little confusing due to the way strange things just sort of happen, with expository cutscenes being relatively few and far between, but it also feeds into the air of mystery and intrigue the game is cultivating as it starts setting the stage for blackmail of all kinds. An air that's ruined every time Dupin opens his mouth. Having a smug character who allegedly follows us around all the time and only pops up to make obvious statements is as annoying as ever. I remain a fan of this series nonetheless because of ERS. This edition didn't take a lot of Brain power to complete, their are much more difficult adventures in previous editions of Dark Tales. Recommend for all players of every level.

This is a must have murder mystery that fans are really going to enjoy. Playing the role of Christine Crenshaw, it's up to you to solve Charles Crenshaw (your grandfather# murder. The Crenshaw family have more than a few skeleton's in the family closet and the story which unfolds as you progress thru the game keeps you engaged from start to finish. Time is running out as you learn that Birdie Crenshaw #your grandmother) is the next target....
Voice acting could have been executed better but easy to overlook since the Story is So Fascinating! Recommended for Adult players of every level.
