Your ski vacation isn’t going quite as planned. Returning to the resort to attack the slopes one last time, your friend Amy is nowhere to be found. Cell phone reception isn’t all that great this high up Ardennes Peak, so you head to the empty ski patrol cabin and scan the radio frequencies to see if you can find someone. That’s when things get really creepy. A hooded figure peers through the window just as you hear Amy’s voice on the radio calling for help. Her leg is broken and she needs your help, but there’s something else, too. She tries to warn you but the signal is lost, leaving you clueless and frightened but determined to save her. Could this have anything to do with the mysterious mansion nearby? Perish the thought!
Mountain Trap: The Manor of Memories is a somewhat slow-paced hidden object adventure that feels like a throwback to the genre’s earlier days. It’s heavy on atmosphere and goes for story over substance, though in the end it doesn’t really hit a homerun with either. Scenes are divided between exploration and puzzle solving, with a healthy number of hidden object diversions. They tend to be pretty simple and are low on challenge, and just like early hidden object games the crowded rooms you sift through are littered with some of the most random, out of place items you can imagine. (The main character should really clean out her car. Sheesh!) There are some interactive items to toy around with and the list of things to find is extensive, so despite being on the easier side, the hidden object scenes are one of the game’s highlights. The conclusion of the game is a cliff hanger leaving you with only "to be continued". Recommended for all players.
I recommend this game!

In Eipix Entertainment's hidden-object adventure Amaranthine Voyage: The Shadow of Torment, an archaeological dig goes awry when your students activate a strange artifact that looks like a Fabergé egg and a perfume bottle owned by a 1920s madame had a baby. Soon, you find yourself in a mysterious, fantastical world beset by a danger known only as The Torment. With a student who has about as much restraint as Dee Dee, you must stop the threat if you want to find a way back home by solving hidden-object scenes and puzzles, as any legendary hero would do. Hope you like pink and purple lens flares!
I usually find it hard to get into the fluffier fantasy games. But, you guys, this game is so pretty. Eipix seems to have pulled out all the stops, and fluid animation and a veritable riot of colour in every conceivable hue (... but especially pink and purple... ) with environments packed to the gills in detail makes The Shadow of Torment a nonstop feast for the eyes. Though burdened by a lot of back and forth, the story is interesting and the characters are lively in a way that makes this the sort of "all ages" game that really doesn't need to have an asterisk with "... but mostly for the little'uns" attached. Admittedly, if you're not into cute fantasy creatures and nonstop visual effects it might be a bit much to take, but hey, that's what demos are for. There's actually very few times the game isn't just hurling minigames and puzzles at you, which keeps things interesting, though on the whole the difficulty level is still set fairly low. I recommend this for all gamers. Thank you Bigfish!!!

Our story begins a long time ago when two alchemists living in a magical tower decided to enrich the knowledge of the human race and opened a portal to another realm. Unfortunately, the portal was a gate to the world of the dead and once they sensed they could returned back to the human world, the monsters began swarming through the gate.
The alchemists did their best to stop the invasion, but the power of the dead was too great. One of the two wise men sacrificed himself and created a seal that stopped the invasion. With time the power of the dead grew so the seal could no longer hold back their forces. Constant sacrifices need to be made in order to keep our world undefiled by these abominations.
Players will take on the role of a supernatural detective, or to put it simple, a detective that deals with cases involving mysticism. One day, a letter from a girl by the name of Lily, made the detective arrive at the ruins of the old tower.
Use your experience as a detective to solve mind-bending puzzles
As in a magical world, the tower begins to materialize and you step inside. Here you meet Lily, who's actually a ghost. You learn that the tower must be destroyed so you begin your ascension to the top. You will require your keen eye and your puzzle solving skills as the tower is filled with riddles and hidden objects. Which of the two sister's is Evil?
The game features only two difficulty levels, yet they are so different that beginners and pros will have their hands full. There is no way you can skip hidden object scenes, but the hint button will definitely help.
Uncover a mystical world hidden deep inside ours
Stopping evil from allowing more evil to enter our world can get pretty addictive and combined with the great graphics, it makes for an excellent hidden object game.
I recommend this game!

Mad Head games has created another masterpiece! You play Belle in a journey to find your daughter Alice. Alice communicates with you through her magic dollhouse as you progress along the adventure. The special effects are amazing as you piece together catalysts to solve the story. Along the way you discover Maria and Gears (from the first Nevertales) who assist you. Gorgeous graphics, music, voices, and unique puzzle/objects. Revealing too much of the game in a review spoils the fun for everyone. I give a 5.5 rating and kudos's to Bigfish! This series is destined to become a fan favorite.

Mysteries and Nightmares: Morgiana is a hidden object puzzle adventure game where you will have unravel a mystery regarding a member of your family.
A tale of two sisters
The game doesn't reveal much of its story right from the start. All we know is that a strange glowing sphere roams through the town at night heading for the castle. When everybody is asleep, the sphere enters the castle through an open window and kidnaps Arabella.
The young princess wakes up in a strange and abandoned room, at the top floor of a tall stone tower. With no recollection of who she is, the brave princess must use her wits and investigate the castle to find out what's going on.
The abandoned castle is filled with magic, but is it really abandoned? Fires burn bright and strange voices can sometimes be heard down the long passageways.
While exploring the castle, Arabella learn about her family and that she has a sister: Morgiana. It seems like the older sister has always felt jealous of the smaller sibling and with time, has grown to hate her.
The quest for truth
Exploring each chamber of the spooky castle means solving lots of brain-bending puzzles, and finding items in dozens of hidden objects scenes. It also means charging and using a lightning staff and talking to the dead.
The gameplay is simple, just use the mouse to interact with the environment. Active tasks are show in the upper left corner of the HUD.
There are lots of question without answers, but play the game and you will find out what happened between the two sisters, what is going to happen to Arabella and who kidnapped her from the safety of her own home. If you are a beginner than look at the map for subtle sparkles which indicate areas of interest. Thank you Big Fish, I loved it!!!

Hidden-object adventures have become more and more streamlined these days, and A Matter of Time is no exception. You've got your customised difficulty settings, your handy instant-travel map, your match-3 option in hidden-object scenes... all of it feels designed to make the experience conform to you rather than the other way around. Some puzzles even have two settings, "casual" and "hard", which changes their solution. Unfortunately, the story, intriguing as it is, is also a little confusing due to the haphazard way it tries to explain its time travel elements, as well as the way it locks more information about characters and the story away until you've taken photos for... reasons, I guess. It makes the game feel disjointed, so it isn't quite the smooth ride you've come to expect from ERS. The plot point revolving around rescuing your grandmother from a sociopath who is keeping her locked in a bedroom until she loves him is actually a little uncomfortable, mostly due to just how absolutely insane they make him look and act towards her, but if he's fooled by a couple pillows and a dusty vase, maybe he isn't that much of a threat after all.
Despite those complaints, however, Beyond the Unknown: A Matter of Time is still engaging. The plot goes more than a little bananas, with backstabs and double-crosses, paradoxes and magical MacGuffins, and you'll quickly discover you've got your very own Marty McFly situation going on. The overall design is beautiful, making even the monsters nightmarishly captivating, and the detail on some of the puzzles makes them stand out from the pack. The gameplay leans more towards classic point-and-click adventuring, so though you'll have to deal with a fair amount of backtracking, you also don't have to worry about being bombarded by one hidden-object scene after another. Though you might be tired of the genre's infatuation with giving you a small, scrappy animal companion, here your dog at least feels more useful than goofy, with several different mechanics and puzzles attached to him. Though it has its flaws, Beyond the Unknown: A Matter of Time is well worth a look. Most players will probably finish it in around three to four hours regardless of difficulty settings, but while it lasts, it's a welcome respite for anyone who likes their hidden-object adventures with a wibbley-wobbley, science-fiction fantasy adventure theme.
I recommend this game!

Game opened in widescreen
Lockable Inventory...like this one, it's unobtrusive but items are still visible. + items mixture.
Choice of Game Modes, including 'Custom'.... love this choice, turn off sparkles but still retain Hint... all modes tell you what you get and don't get....can be changed during play
Achievements, there are a few, can be checked under Achievements tab, scroll down to check them all....there's a couple of strange ones. Worth a look before beginning game if you're an Achievements fan.
Extras Room : Replay HOPS and Mini Games. Play Bubble Shooter game. Souvenir Room #locked in demo# etc.
Choice of 12 Wallpapers of varying sizes.
Collectibles: 44 Stars
Morphing Objects : 12....found it HOPS
Hint system allows you to Teleport....jump map, scenes named.
Evidence Folder contains Evidence Board where you do a profile on each suspect and an Evidence file....really like this feature, little mini puzzles...won't go into too much detail.
Strategy Guide only showed 2 Chapters
HOPS I came across were interactive lists with quick mini puzzles included and silhouettes, these were fun and done a bit differently. Choice to play a Bubble Shooter game instead.
Mini Games I came across were sliders, fuses, and matching pairs....some easy, some a little thought needed, good mixture.
Story : You, as a detective are called in to find out if the socialite Veronica West has committed suicide or was she murdered? You and Agent Daniels just make it to the Island before the boat develops engine trouble so Daniels has to stay and try and repair it while you go to investigate and it's not long before you encounter some suspicious friends and relatives of Veronica West.
Opinion : Liked the game a lot, no Tech difficulties, voiceovers were clear with lip sync., colours were bright, graphics suited the game theme. Liked how you questioned possible suspects...something new here and it was fun....again won't give too much away. Always a good idea to check out Achievements and Extras Tabs before starting games these days if you like to know all the Achievements and Morph/Collectibles.
It's a blast to play, thank you Bigfish xox's

Look, if you're a citizen in the fairy tale kingdom, we all know there's a lot to be afraid of out there: wolves who don your granny's bonnet and try to devour you, vain snow queens who trap children and turn their hearts to ice, ten ton giants atop beanstalks who hurl planetary chunks at your village. But the worst of all? Flowers. You heard me right. Because what do flowers have that is more heinously torturous than all evils combined? Pollen, buddy. Pollen. Your nose is spasming at the mere thought of it. Now, as the Fairy Tale Detective, your mission investigating the hows and whys of deadly pollen attacks leads you to something darker, tangled even, a little more "feed me, Seymour" in the tale of a girl with really really long hair—Dark Parables: Ballad of Rapunzel. Conveniently, despite a whole cast of characters all trying to save their own hides and those of their loved ones, it's up to you to explore this deceptively gorgeous world, collecting and piecing together artifacts to open chests and doors, until you get to the bottom of the mystery in this hidden object adventure from the artistic creativity of Blue Tea Games.
Dark Parables: Ballad of RapunzelIf you've played any of the other Dark Parables games then you know what to expect here: lush visuals, sumptuously colored, all bundled up with the highest of high quality production values. Sometimes sequels are known to let you down but, despite being somewhat predictable and formulaic, there's not much to complain about in Ballad of Rapunzel. The fragmented-style hidden object searches for which Blue Tea Games is known are just as beautifully designed. Players who dislike messy piles of random objects will encounter none of that here, but make no mistake, the crux of the gameplay involves searching out needed items then figuring out where and how to use your inventory in order to carry on the adventure. These richly ornate objects will either open doors to new areas, unlock a piece of the story, or initiate one of the many tactile puzzles to solve. An interactive map will help you keep track of objectives while optional side quests for collectibles and achievements will ensure everyone has lots to do. Altogether, Ballad of Rapunzel is the perfect balance between adventuring, story elements, hidden object scenes and minigames.
Dark Parables: Ballad of RapunzelWhile the story is based on a blend of familiar fairy tales, Blue Tea does a good job of taking the familiar, twisting it up and infusing it with original ideas. It does tend toward some campy melodrama but this just adds to the adventuresome feel, keeping action and excitement running throughout the game. It also makes for a decent sized game: depending on the difficulty settings you choose, whether you take your time solving puzzles and enjoying the dialogues and cut scenes, the main chapters in Ballad of Rapunzel should take around five or so hours to complete. It is best to relax and enjoy a slower pace, anyhow, because there is a fair amount of backtracking in some chapters as you return to unlock doors you nearly forgot existed. Besides the fragmented object searches and minigames, there is so much to feast the eyes, so many new plot twists to take in, and plenty of adventure based puzzles to make the whole experience feel epic. With flowers everywhere you look, the looming threat of attacking pollen, it's probably a good idea to keep those allergy tabs nearby, also. You know, since herbicide apparently was banned in Rapunzel's world.
I recommend this game!
