I use to spend morning to night at my table to finish working a jigsaw puzzle because I was so anxious to start another. My craft closet was full of them. My favorites have always been animals, nature, flowers, birds and fairies.
These computer puzzles took some getting use to, mostly because of the small pieces and of course it just isn't the same kind of "seek and find the right piece" challenge that is required for the table puzzles. My physical disability now has me in bed most of the time, so computer puzzles have become new friends in my life.
Was so thrilled with the variety in this set. So many animals and nature pictures. The entire set was just perfect for me. I finally decided to start with the very first puzzle and work them all in order to the very last one and choose the most pieces available for each puzzle, to make it more challenging. So much fun!! I own all the Chronicles puzzles now so have lots of fun and work to look forward to.
This particular one is my favorite though because of the wonderful animals and nature pics. They are all so beautiful and the variety is great. Amazing photography and vivid color. I like the special "tools" to help you if needed.
I've noticed lately that many of the puzzles offered by other developers contain staged pictures of all sorts including people and food and just boring things. I greatly dislike all of that. And the Holiday Puzzles are just full of that stuff. Just another reason for my love of the Chronicle puzzles.
Hopefully, more of these fantastic puzzles will be coming to us soon. It has been a while! In my opinion, they are the only true quality puzzles available here at Big Fish. If you haven't already guessed, I highly recommend this game!
I recommend this game!

I really enjoy the wonderful selection of pictures offered here, the nature and animal ones are my favorites. I have the others in this series and all of them are very nice. The replay value is great because of all the different sizes to choose from each time you assemble the puzzles. I own many computer jigsaws now that my physical disability keeps me in bed most of the time. Working a puzzle at the table with my cat helping me find the right piece (lol) would be a big blessing, but this substitutes quite well so far, though my kitty would disagree.
My other fave is Jigsaws Galore. It lets you turn any of your own photos into jigsaws and the pieces include animal shapes, trees, buildings (cute stuff that adds an extra little challenge). Lots of fun!
Anyway back to this puzzle...it really is delightful and so colorful and crisp. I have only 2 complaints: I wish there were a few more color selections for the background. The ones here are the same in every puzzle package and are very pale and I think they need to be a little brighter, darker or just different altogether. My 2nd complaint is that the finished puzzle disappears far too quickly. I like to see my accomplishment and ooh and ah over it for a little bit, it adds to the enjoyment and wouldn't it be nice to actually save the finished picture to your file or folder so it can be used as a wallpaper or screensaver later. I really do not know why the developers have not thought of these important things. Maybe they are just game creators and not really lovers of jigsaws and simply do not understand the pleasures they are omitting.
Other than that, I love this set of puzzles and very highly recommend it. I hope more will be coming to us hopefully with lots of animals, nature, birds. AND with changes that will make it even more fun for us. There is such a shortage of jigsaws on Big Fish. Alas! Such is life (lol) !!!
I recommend this game!

Can you imagine living the anguished life of such a creature? Not good...but for us VERY good because it gave us this wonderful game. Visually it was just a feast for the eyes all the way to the end. The colors were amazing and added so much to the atmospheric feel of the tale. It was a good long adventure that contained lots of challenging (but do-able) games and HOPs. I am a big fan of stories with unusual creatures whether they are mean and nasty or sweet little things. But the minotaur has always been a villain and Hercules did battle with the angry beasts many times. This game has renewed my interest in Greek mythology and I wish there were more of them. I highly recommend!

This little game was absolutely anything but scary and the vampires were a hoot! The game had 24 chapters but they were short. However, much to do in each one, fun tasks, loaded with hard to find HOs, challenging mini puzzles and games. No click penalty (thank goodness) so have at it...my finger was screaming at times to stop already (lol) ! The game had such quirky characters, not one unlovable vampire in the whole bunch. Each had their own unique personality and that made the story even more delightful. They were very plastic and stiff moving but still had a very "Come closer, I won't bite" quality about them. Make sense? My favorite vampire was Glenfield. The St. Bernard ghost was a sweetie. I just loved them all and the story was so funny, I had a really great time with Vampireville. Let me say I was very attached to the main character, Michael ( not a vampire) ! Even though he did not blink, had no facial expression or movement of any kind really, I just adored him! He actually (IMO) bears an uncanny resemblance to Keanu Reeves, right down to his not so good acting and his poor accent. It reminded me of his role in a Dracula movie some years back. But who cares when he is so doggone cute. Right??
I hope you do not pass this game up...it is very entertaining, different, full of humor and void of bloody neck biting. Very cute story...I think you will enjoy this a lot ! I highly recommend it !
One final note...exit the game only after a chapter has been completed. Otherwise you will lose your progress and will have to replay that entire chapter.
I recommend this game!

I was surprised to find such entertainment in an SE game. It was exciting and fast-paced with a realistic storyline. I loved every second of it and quickly became totally engrossed. Wish there were more of these top quality games involving gov't, spies, hidden relics, secret missions, etc. Also, would love more sci-fi. All these dark fantasy games just drive me nuts!! It boils down to buy one or nothing lately, because 99 1/2% of BF games are in that category. So this game was absolutely right up my alley! And truly, so far, I have never been disappointed with any of the Hidden Expedition games. This game offered great puzzles, HOPs, adventure, graphics, voices, everything was excellent in my opinion. I also loved the Fact Cards, a nice little extra. Give it a whirl, even if you just check out the demo...I doubt you will be disappointed!
I recommend this game!

What a quality game series!! I own all 5 and wish I had 5 more. They are so entertaining and such a great learning tool for children. Even adults will have fun learning. I was fortunate to experience our beautiful parks first-hand. Now in my later years, unable to travel, these wonderful games are just a lot of fun for me and conjure up some pleasant memories. I do hope that more Park Ranger games are coming to us or more similar games. I highly recommend to everyone!!

I love these wonderful Vacation Adventures games. I own all of them and have played 3 so far. They are so educational for children AND adults. The hidden objects are quite challenging because of them being small and very well hidden. Love the extras: recycling items and hidden animals. The characters are not animated cartoonish figures. Love everything about Park Ranger...I bet you will love this series, too. A nice, relaxing escape from all the serious, darkly themed games that we are bombarded with so often!

I really enjoyed this game and the little bits of humor along the way were a fun added touch. The puzzle and mini games were abundant and excellent. The challenge was good and I did end up skipping a few. I loved all the collectibles and morphing. I think I even found 2 in one HOP but I am not 100% sure. The story was easy to follow and scenes and tasks were easy to get to, thanks to the excellent map. The graphics, color, dialogue were all quality. I did not mind that the syncing was a little off...that never bothers me, as l am just focused on the story and not the trivial stuff. The game was not bloody and morbid like many of the newer games. It seems that they become darker and darker these days and it really spoils it for me sometimes and I end up uninstalling the game. Whispering Marsh moved along smoothly and was entertaining all the way to the end. No time for getting bored with all the puzzles and HOPS. The HOPS were challenging and creative. Hope you enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Excellent, as you would expect from Fear for Sale. The game was very entertaining but the fear factor was not so much this time; it was delightfully filled to the brim with things to accomplish, collectibles of all sorts, good assortment of achievements, great map, easy to follow story. Why on earth, then, can't a team of such talented game developers give us an exciting/interesting ending to make the story ENTIRELY satisfying?????? As in so many other games , the ending was very rushed and lame. Very disappointing. I am nearly finished with the bonus chapter, which is very good. Maybe it will improve on the ending of the main story...I can only hope.
I recommend this game!

I own all the Samantha games and each one is full of hidden objects and places to go as you track down the bad guy and get an important artifact into safe keeping. The hidden objects are very well hidden and SMALL, providing great challenge. The technique for finding your list items and getting to your next location is not the usual and I love the extra tasks and fun that it creates. The puzzles are quite good, too. Skip becomes available but the skip button is not easy to get at sometimes (not a glitch). The scenes are in different parts of the world, always search for the lightning bolt and 2 Swift Birds as they provide your hint supply and hints. Click all over the place if need be for hard to find items as they can be hidden in or behind something. No penalty for clicking although some sounds or scanner movement may make you think otherwise, Fountains of Fate is really good and had some surprises I liked. Also just finished Mystery from Atlantis and they are both very busy, challenging, interesting quests and are really nice entertaining games, with no gloom and doom, demons etc to deal with. Sometimes these simpler games with hand drawn graphics are considered unworthy of praises. The big, "fancy" games get all the attention these days and many great games get overlooked.
Don't be afraid to try something different...lots of goodies waiting for discovery. I am about to join Samantha on another quest.
I recommend this game!
