Overall: Pleasant music for a change, excellent continuity moving forward, interesting story line, nice intro and beautiful design throughout entire game with exquisite attention to details. Characters were superbly designed and scenes were amazing, interesting and original. This was one of those games that I wished would never end. Just can’t say enough about this marvelously crafted game. A little squirrel family was so realistic, even the horses were amazingly illustrated, so nice to see this in a game! Hidden Object Games items were clear and defined. Mini games were doable and different. This game was a delight to play and I will play it again just to enjoy an experience that made me want to stay in a scene to observe all the work that the developers put into this game! Kudos to the developers on this one! Graphics: Beautiful with attention to detail Sounds: Well done Music: Pleasant listening Characters: Well designed Hints: Very good Map: Didn’t use HOG: Attention to detail and beautiful layout Mini: A little different from most and very well done
Took a chance on this with a free game. I haven't finished it and I'm already disappointed. I rarely say no to recommend, but in this case NO! The hidden object games are confusing at times and repeated, the mini games aren't all that clear and some are frustrating vs. fun and the story line bounces back and forth with way too many inventory items. More time putting together and building stuff with less time enjoying the journey because so many trips back and forth to find all the parts. Not a good game for the little ones because of the difficulty and frustration to complete objectives. Not one I would want to share with them over the holidays.
Overall: Graphics varied in quality and craftsmanship, rather long game filled with a multitude of mini games and fewer hidden object games. Story was interesting with some different twists and turns that kept me playing even with the frustration of so many mini games that finally became annoying. Story follows a group of people with various wishes they want to change their lives. They select a card with varying skills to survive through the night while a beast lurks about. End game: get the kill the beast card, kill the beast and get your wish to come true…maybe. Each new card must be activated with another mini game. From a group of runes, place three in a correct grid order shown briefly, so memory is required on these. Second option will be connect designs by switching and turning to complete a design, which just requires juggling the parts to finally light up. So each time you get a new card this occurs. Some of the scenes are interesting with a few surprises and a few well-crafted scenes that try to offer something a little different. Differing craftsmanship is pretty obvious in this game, so lacked continuity in design. Not my favorite game because of all the mini games, but worth the time spent to finish it.
Graphics: Varied from poor to very good, some too bright scenes, some gritty and poorly crafted, but towards the end there seemed to be more attention to detail and not so bright and gritty appearing. Sounds: Good Music: Okay, but turned down Characters: Well developed, good voice overs, humans appeared human and beast was not over the top. Hints: Excellent Map: Didn’t use
HOG: Variety, but slow in appearing in game, so few in beginning was disappointed, really not fond of find missing pieces in a picture, until towards the end of the game HOG were not well crafted and even when they were some items were hard to see or find. Many were based on forms to find vs. word lists. Mini games were abundant compared to HOG.
Mini: So many that it became a MINI game. When that happens I feel it is just a way to lengthen the game without focusing on more interesting content. I personally don’t enjoy time consuming mini games that are repetitive, get from one end to another, move/slide squares around and connect tubes or objects to get from point A to B. I skipped a lot of them because they became annoying and held up the game for little purpose or reason sometimes.
Overall: Interesting game, well done graphics with great visibility and details. Minis will be fun for fans with good variety, hidden object games had various games, the few illustrative ones leave something to be desired but nice break, and all presented with excellent craftsmanship. Not a new story but great scenes and forward movement avoiding constant back and forth, inventory objects were clear and both sounds and music were good. Characters well developed and designed, décor a mix of art deco, Egyptian and modern, seen some of this mix before I think. Daughter’s script and acting was a bit over the top and a little annoying, but overall well done game and content. Ending left me wondering…are they setting us up for a continuation.
Graphics: Excellent, clear, detailed and well crafted. Sounds: Good Music: Good
Characters: Excellent design, most voice overs were great, script writing left something to be desired, some over the top reactions and not realistic with event, especially the daughter. The rest were okay.
Hints: Excellent, fast response. Map: Didn’t need.
HOG: Great variety, different, beautifully designed with details, might be a little simple for some but great if family oriented purchase.
Mini: Easy to time consuming. A few different ones. Actually finished some of them and I’m not a fan, so might be a little easy for those die-hard mini fans.
Overall: Great scene cuts, nicely designed scenery and objects with attention to details throughout the game. Switch back and forth between two characters to follow their journeys. This game offered a somewhat different concept with the dual storyline to get to end game. I found it enjoyable and entertaining with excellent graphics, a clear, forward moving storyline and great attention to details.
Graphics: Brighter than most but eventually get used to it. Sounds: Okay Music: Turned way down Characters: Interesting and different, good voice overs, some a bit over the top but it’s a game. Hints: Good response. Map: Useful. HOG: A few dark corners, but most well developed and designed, excellent object details. Mini: Not a fan. Tried some, but mostly skipped them.
Overall: Hint TRANSPORTS! A little bit on the bizarre side, but well done. Some characters are somewhat cartoonish, can see how far this developer has improved since this game. This is still a fun game and good one for a younger player to participate since just a bit spooky but not over the top. Cat was weird, it could have been a lot more fun, but it helped out occasionally. An average game with average content, so give it a test run first to see if you like what it has to offer.
Graphics: Very well done, interesting and detailed scenery.
Sounds: Good, but a few annoying ones like the bird, just turn sound down when repeated sounds start.
Music: Good.
Characters: Attractive or not so depending on character.
Hints: TRANPORTS!
Map: Didn’t use.
HOG: Few items hard to see, but overall well-crafted and designed.
Mini: Some games were confusing and some long. Not a fan, so skipped most of them.
Overall: Too much running back and forth, lack of clarity in storyline and poor reasoning as far as direction, disappointing graphics that often distract from the game. The storyline started with some direction and then got sidetracked elsewhere in what seemed to just prolong the game. Hidden object games were grainy and made it difficult to see some objects. Mini games were more annoying than enjoyable for me. Maybe mini fans might like them, but even then graphics failed. One of my least enjoyable games in a long time, just wanted to get it over with, but it isn’t a short game. I finally just used the hint because no clue where to go and what to do anyway. As many have said in the past, to discover if you will like a game test it before you purchase it to make sure you will enjoy the content, graphics and various activities offered.
Graphics: Frequently lacking in design and detail, hard to explain but seems amateurish vs. the finely detailed and well-designed graphics in many games. Seems like old design in my opinion.
Sounds: Game appropriate.
Music: Repetitious and annoying.
Characters: More cartoonish than reality, a few are pretty well developed but others aren’t.
Hints: Fast and a good thing because the game is more than confusing as why and where to go.
Map: Didn’t use.
HOG: Poor graphics made it difficult to determine objects so just click if you can’t find something. Some games were interactive and you had to guess where the other item was hidden, so clicking became a norm.
Mini: Filled with all that I dislike, connect tubes, travel from one side to another, reverse pictures to complete. I just skipped them because they were more annoying than entertaining. Mini fans might enjoy them and there were more of them than hidden object games.
Overall: Intro rune related vintage circa 1920’s.This game reminded me of the excellent Final Cut series that exhibited comparable quality and fun. Very well crafted and designed game with exceptional scenes and great interaction. Ending was a bit of a “yawn,” but that isn’t a negative since so many games just can’t seem to develop a “wow” ending. Well worth the time and effort to enjoy the journey, observe great details and follow a storyline that flowed with direction and reasoning and was entertaining and a fun experience.
Graphics: Excellent, great scenes, detailed and well crafted. Sounds: Good. Music: Some repetition but not frantic during HOG, more soothing and enjoyable throughout game. Characters: Beautifully crafted and designed. Hints: Excellent. Map: Didn’t need to use often. HOG: Excellent! Offered a bit more challenge that usual, which is a good thing. Great details on objects! Mini: Not a fan of mini game, but tried most of them, gave up on a few, but overall they were well done, and well designed.
Overall: One of the best beautifully crafted, developed and designed game I’ve seen in a long time. Exquisite graphics, attention to details beyond what many previously played games offered. Storyline is predictable but well played out with heart-warming ending. Numerous tasks with little details that entice you to play again to see if you missed anything. Instead of just opening a niche you get unexpected special effects, like green eyes sparkling, a real pleasure. The characters are very well crafted and realistic. Many hidden object games, if you are a fan like me, you’ll love this game. Mini games are easy to a moderately difficult and I enjoyed them more than any other game! Variety of design in both made this game interesting and entertaining! Better than most CE editions. One of the best games I’ve played in years, one of the best variety of hidden object games and one of the best in attention to details in every beautiful as well as numerous scenes. This was a long game that I enjoyed over several days of play and was sorry it ended. I’ve purchased so many based on reviews and was disappointed, but I will purchase from this developer again. I’d give this game a 6 plus if I could! Even if I loved this game, I caution others to test the trial run to see if YOU like it. Happy journeys!
Graphics: Exquisite, each scene appeared to have more attention to details than many other games I’ve recently played and made me want to spend more time exploring all the items.
Sounds: Pleasant and appropriate.
Music: Soothing and actually listened to it throughout the game. One sounded like a few bars from a classical form of California Dreaming which can't be bad.
Characters: Well designed and developed.
Hints: Transported you to next task!
Map: Yes, but didn’t need to use it.
HOG: Numerous! More than any game I’ve played in the last few years. I play these games because I enjoy a variety of entertaining and interesting Hidden Object Games and this game gave me a big 5 plus!
Mini: Variety was great, not a fan of them, but I even enjoyed 90% of them and took time to finish those.
I enjoyed the first Redemption but this one is just too nightmarish for my taste. In addition, I really dislike circus themes and did not expect it in this Redemption release and it just turned me off from moving forward. For me there were way too many Mini Games to obtain required articles. Hidden Object games were interactive. I just couldn’t get into this one and will set it aside. I wish I had taken a test run before I purchased it and that is what I suggest for fans of this series. Try it before you buy it. The graphics are great. The characters nothing special and the villain is way over the top almost comical. The music and sound fit the scenes. Just not up to my expectations and not a fun time.
