More confused than entertained. Graphics, characters and voice overs are good. Mini games are annoying, double and triple parts UGH! Richard again. Is he ever going to find peace and a final resting place, time to find another concept. Enough is Enough! Hidden Objects games are short, simple and a sad excuse.Too many games! Interrupted the continuity of the story line. Another Gray drama to prolong the agony! Also too many back and forth to obtain 1 item to complete task. Time for a new concept or new series.
Introduction: Guy with rabbit ears...no wait later he looks like he has an ant head. Didn't enjoy the format tasks, the concept or the old plain, dull décor. Script dialogue is poor and characters rather wooden. This is just old development and design. Nothing new or exciting from this developer. Seems they had plenty of time to step up to the plate with creativity and innovation, but they remained in the dark ages. One of my least favorite games in a while. To be fair, you take the trial run to see what you think.
This was fun from the start. Great clarity in design and décor. Realistic characters and very good voice overs using a variety of voices. Hidden objects were clear and findable. Enjoyable tasks. Story flows with clarity and moves forward well, Will consider purchase of this one.
Interesting story so far, characters are well designed, good clarity and flow that I enjoy in a game. Graphics varied from excellent to very good, so it is obvious when different designers are in charge of some scenes. Hint transports which I enjoy. Mostly I liked that the story moved right along without a lot of back and forth and confusion. Enjoyed the tasks and they are doable without a lots of running around or putting together multitudes of items. Will consider purchasing this one.
Primary colored graphics are terribly bright or in some cases turned way too dark making it hard to see content. Very soon into the game, the bright graphics became distracting. This developer needs to include an option to adjust brightness. The game flow and clarity are muddled and it appears a lot of hands were involved in development due to varied design. I usually give the mini games a try, but I absolutely disliked these.Characters are somewhat wooden and not appealing. I failed to become interested in the game and quit mid-trial. Give it a trial run for yourself to make your own determination.
I wanted to take all the animals home! The graphics are clean, exquisite and masterfully crafted as were each of the characters.
The game moved FORWARD with clarity and with tasks that didn't take numerous items to complete, so the continuity was superior. The script was well done and voice overs great. I love a game with these qualities.
The story was predictable but with a twist or two, so kept my interest.
Hidden Object Games are nicely designed, beautifully crafted and interesting.
Not a fan. Mini games are varied, some time wasters, some rather entertaining. Spare me the click, click, click a number of boxes to obtain an accurate picture. Annoying and time to find new challenges that are realistic.
I got tired of the head that collects the tears, very pretty but could have been more interesting, maybe evolve from a head to a full body, something a little different each time. A talking head gets old quickly.
The mini game at the end was frustrating and a poor choice and as usual after spending time in an enjoyable picturesque adventure with delightful scenes and scenery, it ended too quickly. Build the tension, give us a reward and surprise at the end! Make us clamor to want more of your productions.
I purchased this game based on the trial and I was not disappointed. A long game, with loads of tasks, entertaining and well worth the purchase. Gave me what seemed like hours of fun. Stopped several times so there was enough game left to go back and enjoy some more. Good job developers. Looking forward to more games like this!
Introduction was fast and all over the place. Richard continues to be annoying. Lucky for Anna he pops up with just the right item she needs. Task cards were removed too quickly especially with all the sparkles in each scene that are distracting. Didn't enjoy the mini games and hidden object games had some items hard to see especially the interactive combinations. Just tired of the same old themes. Time to retire Richard to his happy hunting ground wherever that may be!
This game is all over the place zipping from a present disaster to an Orc cave to a temple located in another realm and back to real time...all in the first few minutes! Lost interested immediately because of lack of clarity and zero developer focus. Another save the world game. Sarcastic "punch" lines and just sad all around development. The characters are wooden and the dialogue/script is absolutely horrible. Graphics are varied, appears different designers had a hand in them. Hidden Object games are boring and objects are often too small and then toss in a mini game in the middle. Mini games should be removed in this game...old, boring and tired! I pushed beyond 5 minutes but finally called it. It may get better, but I don't plan on suffering through a scattered, silly story line and a script that even the characters are probably embarrassed to utter. I'll have to give this game, "One of the worst."
Not a fan of this release! Poor editing, small objects, too many details, mini HO games interrupt flow, rushed task cards not appearing long enough to read mostly because of lots of sparkle distractions, too much back and forth and story line is already predictable.
Really? Mini introduction was a sad commentary for a start! Introductions should entice the player to WANT to play the game. Was that it? Was that really an introduction?
Next scene, the 2 male detectives are in their office. Had to find ID's to open up a long and annoying HO game. Shade, can't remember her part in story line, comes into office with an invitation for a trip and whoosh next thing the 2 guys are on a ship and sucked into another realm.
Anna wasn't in office, so she is left to the rescue. In comes Richard, her father, when will they call it a day with him? He brings her purse and continues to pop up with helpful objects. He's a ghost...it doesn't make any sense. Send Richard to his final resting place!
Ship must have landed in the Arctic or on some iceberg because there is now a big hole in the side of the ship and snow is outside but last time the dock was sunny? When she finally goes outside, something about ghost Vikings or whatever. Just a mess!
Anyway, character's tasks are on cards and they are whisked by so fast that I didn't read them all because of all the sparkles in each scene.
The male detectives, not sure where they went, but they are individually whisked into another time era, one in the past and one into the future. Each with a task card that flashed by in a mini-second.
Objects in tasks are often small as are the pieces in the HO games when putting together an item to make a whole...tiny bones to complete a skeleton's hand. Stop with the mini HO games that just interrupt the game flow and those objects are too small and the forms aren't always helpful to identify a needed piece. Just a time waster.
I wanted to like this one but found the back and forth, the tiny items (small isn't better) and the constant switch between characters annoying. Why not give each character a substantial PART of the game to accomplish something interesting...save the world of course...instead of back and forth. It just breaks up the continuity, especially in this release. Bad enough you must keep track of where each character is, now they have zapped them into time warps of the past and future.
There was too much confusion and actually I found all the running around and switches annoying. Good décor for each time era but way too many items for the time period are stuffed in each room and most of those items aren't even useful.
I guess best that I can say is to take the trial run, pay close attention so you don't miss anything and make your own decision on the content. I'm not purchasing this one and it's rather sad because I enjoyed the last few presentations, except for that sufferable Richard. Sometimes too much isn't good either.
Good intro, but it went downhill from there. Graphics are below average and rather dull. Maybe some new innovation there might help some.
I found nothing that interested me enough to want to explore the game further. In first Hidden Object Game a mourning ribbon was too small and subsequent HOG exhibit more small objects which I find annoying. Mini games are old and overused a lot. Time to come up with some new ideas.
Continuity was off. Cop says show me ID and I'll get you a hazmat suit. Instead she breaks into ambulance and gets one for herself? The story line was sluggish and rather boring.
I just couldn't get into this because of the plain, dull graphics, the lack of continuity, and a boring story line. Maybe it improves further into the game. So take a trial run and judge for yourself.
