Although the artwork in the "Surface" series isn't the best out there, especially this "episode" was surprisingly enjoyable, as far as the gamer's experience is concerned. The ambient music is really relaxing and it was a strong point, rather than having a music that climaxes. It lets you focus on the gameplay itself.

I did not enjoy this game, overall. I had some issues with the artwork (too harsh for my taste) and too grotesque. Only good thing I can think of, were the mini games and the gameplay...

A superior game in comparison to its previous titles, but it definitely needs work; especially when it comes to the artwork and its smoothness (not!). The actual mini games were just ok, the surely couldn't been better and more logical thought out.

So, this is a beautiful crafted game, as far as the artwork is concerned. But when it comes to the actual mini games, I really hated most of them. So I'm a bit torn: a full 5 star for the artwork, but a disappointing 3 for the concepts of the mini games.

A solid game, with an interesting storyline, a high level of game challenge and fun factor. Only problem for me, which might also be a subjective comment, are the graphics, which are quite hard to the eye. I prefer smooth, more detailed work. And this translates also in the mini HOGS, that are difficult to be played/to actually locate things.

A beautiful, well designed and crafted game that deserves a... nearly perfect score. Love the artwork and the skeleton achievements are a nice touch. I, personally, had 2 major issues: The map on the HOGS is supposed to guide you in case you need it, so it should point out in which locations you have something to do, immediately, rather than just show "active locations". My other problem: The mini HOGS in which you can combine artifacts or you must first lift something to discover something else and then use it or combine it, should become a different pointer once the mouse hovers over them, instead of just staying the same, non-active pointer. It's now nice if you have to guess and just click around like a fool, guyz... Still, a very good game.

Well this game is overall in the middle (of the rating), but still has potential. Its graphics are above medium, though can and should be improved. The scenario with the ballerina is fresh, and so is the movement in the videos. Big problems: the mini HOG scenes and also the fact, that you can't easily distinguish when the cursor becomes active, i.e. glasses. And also, the music, while beautiful classic, it remains the same throughout all scenes!
So... what to make of this? The graphics of this one are particularly bad, harsh, gloomy, dark (as in "where's the light you guyz?). I think it was the first time, that I preferred to actually play the match3 mini games than the mini HOGs themselves. Apart from that: a good gameplay; puzzles, combos of artifacts. And as bonus, the switch between 2 characters! Plus, I think it's the first time, that a team actually used the Greek words correctly (I'm Greek, I should know...).

I really did NOT enjoy this one as much. The game play, well... it seemed off, a bit robotic. It lack a natural flow and interest about the next move or combo. So, nothing special, just a better than average HOG.
