I got this one as a freebie thinking there might be some adventure in it. It is basically a HOG but it is kind of addicting as you collect items to build up an amusement park. Kids will like this one as it can keep them occupied for long periods of time.
It also is fun for adults and kind of addicting.
I recommend this game!

The good news is the characters are speaking to you in this one. The bad news is it doesn't matter what they say.
You must play this game in the correct order or you will lose an object and have to start over. I have never seen that with a game before so I will use the play by play book given to the player. That is not fun as it is more of a chore.
I did like the first game but the later games all had problems of some sort. It seemed to go backward but then moved forward again with this one. It gives you a clear clover until you find the clover in the room for instance.
But if it means starting over from scratch because it only lets you use the one object and keeps it then that is a glitch which needs fixing.
I don't recommend this game.

The first Midnight Mysteries dealt with the death of Houdini and was a lot of fun. The second one has the detective trying to clear a young woman of the charge of witchcraft.
There is no spoken dialogue like the original and this one seems even more primitive. I wonder if they created this one first but released the Houdini one first as it is much better.
It is easy to get confused in this game without a game plan. The ravens collected for hints only help a bit but don't tell you where to go next if you get stuck. That means signing off to look for answers to some of the problems.
The game also throws the player all over without warning as to what is going on. That makes this frustrating and not very fun. The visuals are not as good as the first one, but they still are well done.
I just can't recommend this one like Houdini. If is OK as a freebie but not much else.
I don't recommend this game.

Marcus has lost his memory and we must help him figure out who he is. Of course he isn't a run of the mill person! We must save his true love and fight his rival's plans to take over the world.
The graphics are pretty good and the adventure is light and breezy. Nothing too hard if that is what you are looking for. There was one spot I had to look up because I could not see the sequence in the notes, but other than that this was quite easy for me.
The storyline is predictable and we can guess the outcome of this one early on. Still, it is a short game and good for those who just want to have fun without any real challenge.
I recommend this game!

I got this one as my freebie and it is not bad at all. There are five games in all with two of the games being almost identical. The graphics are great and the sound effects fun, but this is just a slot machine game.
It is fun for a bit, but not for too long. I don't know how people can play these slots all day long at those casinos. With this one there is no money being lost.
I don't know if I would spend money on one of these games. I do think it is nice to have something else to play if one doesn't want to do HOGs or adventures for that day.
I recommend this game!

I had a lot of fun with this game set on the planet Mars. We help our heroine figure out where all the people on the base are. There is a lot of back and forth throughout the game which I enjoy. The HOGs are also nice and not overdone (we do the same location twice for the most part.).
The visuals for the storyline are very good making me not skip any of them. I also played this one without feeling rushed like I do on some others.
This is one that earns five stars and actually deserves each one of them. I hope there are many more like this in the future.
I recommend this game!

I did like this rather short game and found the HOGs a bit different. It is good when they do a twist to the usual instead of the same old thing.
We help a woman find a hanged pirate's treasure to save the life of a boy. The usual type storyline that I ignore.
There are three parts to this story and then we get to repeat half of it for the CE bonus part. I don't know why I bother getting the CE as the bonus game is incredibly short and is over before you can really get into it. I guess others like the bells and whistles, but if you just like to play stick with the SE of the games offered.
I recommend this game!

In this game we play a healer who has to take care of the Emperor's son and then find the man responsible for his condition. The HOGs were the standard issue mixed with other types. That does make it a bit more fun.
The mini games were decent but there weren't too many if you are a fan of those.
There is a pain in the neck factor with the transforming some objects to 'Essence of' bottles for the game to go on. The ball moves faster each time which can just be annoying.
The bonus game is short but fun and we get three extra HOGs as well. We don't get to find all of the objects which would be nice. I would advise the buyer to get the SE as I don't think the CE is worth it (unless there is a sale).
I enjoyed the game and the graphics were pretty good. I just wish it were a bit longer.
I recommend this game!

I just completed this game and thought it was fun. It also was like a fairy tale and I was expecting a more horror bend as that is the way it is being sold.
Kids will love this game as it doesn't have too difficult a challenge to it. The graphics and storyline also are more suited for kids than adults.
Mom has to find Hansel and Gretal before the witch takes care of them for good. The game is also short and there are three modes to do it in. I chose medium which is still rather easy.
The bonus game isn't very long as is the case with most of these games. I am probably just going to wait for the SE instead of getting the CE. I don't see the need to pay extra for a few more game scenes. This time we take the children home and clean up the chocolate mess.
Overall it is a fun game that your children (or grandchildren) will enjoy after you get done.
I recommend this game!

We have to unfreeze the family of the Princess in this game. It takes us from a cottage to a small village and then a castle. Not many rooms it seems but one is kept busy.
There are the usual HOGs and some mini games but nothing big about this one. It was fun though and that is what matters.
I recommend this game!
