This is the only game where the player gets to unclog a nasty toilet. If you find that fun, then this game is for you.
I hated this game. I absolutely think the makers wanted to make the most vile and disgusting game out there. We get to look through a disgusting ashtray if that makes it any better.
There are live action actors along the way helping out the detective solve this mystery. But I doubt many will want to finish this once they get to the toilet. Really? Fix a clogged toilet?
The other problem is we have to do everything in one certain order or the game won't let us progress. It tells us who to talk to and where to go next. They might as well play it for us and I wish they had.
The worst game Big Fish has to offer here and that is saying a lot.
I don't recommend this game.

That is not a good thing to say as the graphics looked like they were among the first created for an adventure game. The storyline was simple and the rooms had many that only had one item to find.
Not really challenging either other than the hard to see HOGs at times.
It was an OK game but not anything I would set out to pay money for. I did get it as a freebie and it passed the time.
Again, passed the time, OK and meh are not glowing reviews for a game.
I don't recommend this game.

This is one of those games I liked, but it was rather short. I don't think it is a five star game because of this.
The object of the game is for the heroine to save her brother and figure out what is going on with the mystery crystals. The answer is obvious, but the HOG and mini games make up for it.
This game might be a bit too easy for some, but if you just like to enjoy games it is a good get. I just wish it was a bit longer.
I recommend this game!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Grim Tales games and followed a woman who has to keep on rescuing her sister and nephew from certain doom. This game features a niece and a school where bad things are happening.
It didn't really fit in with the others and seemed like a replay of earlier games. The graphics also seem a bit cheaper as if they just quickly made this game to make money. Most of us can wait a few more months to get a quality game.
I guess I am half heartedly recommending this but as a SE only and on sale. The CE's bonus stuff didn't merit the extra cost.
I don't recommend this game.

The visuals immediately let me know this was an older game or they held on to it. There was sound and the characters did speak, but it looked sub par with the visuals. Plus, the game takes place in an old house with a small number of rooms. The HOGs were OK but nothing to gloat about.
There were no levels to choose for playing and that meant waiting a long time for the skip button when the same tedious mini-games were featured. I was debating about giving this one two stars, but I did play it and thought it was OK. Not bad for a freebie, but I don't recommend this one.
I don't recommend this game.

I am not the biggest fan of this series and wonder why so many people like it. I bought them all based on the rave reviews it had received. I was disappointed in the earlier games, but this one was a bit better.
The makers cut down a bit on the mini-games which was a good thing. We meet up with our characters to save the Sunhook Spire from an attack as well as save Sophia's parents. If one follows the storyline, they will have to get the other four games.
I did enjoy the series for the most part but I would not of paid full price for them. I also don't think this CE is worth it either as the bonus game again is a bit short. True, it is the part where you save the parents, but it really lacked the sense of adventure.
I also tired of the same old characters and the drawn out style of the story.
Again, I recommend this as a SE and a freebie if it is on sale quite cheap. Fans of the series will love it.
I recommend this game!

When I buy a CE, I really need to read it over to make sure I am getting bonus play. This CE does not have any bonus story to do which really disappointed me. It is not worth it at all to get the CE, so if you wish to get this just buy the SE or get it as a freebie.
Again, Princess Sophia is looking for humans and doesn't find them other than one. We have to wait for part four I guess.
This was a fun game with the goblins, but it seems a bit too stretched out. The first three games can be combined into a nice one part game instead of these rather short games.
Again, recommended as a freebie as I suspect some would be disappointed after reading the reviews stating how great this game is.
I recommend this game!

Princess Sophia is now looking for her human people in this sequel to the Dreamless Castle. It is much improved over the last one as we now get grabby hands to pick things up. Still, I had to deduct a star from a four star game because it leaves us hanging for the sequel.
The visuals are a little bit better but not much and the characters still don't speak in this one. Again, recommended as a freebie.
I recommend this game!

The first Awakening is also an older game with more primitive actions. It still is fun to play as long as the gamer knows it is an older game.
The object is for our Princess Sophia to figure out who she is.
The HOGs are easy and there are many minigames to overcome. It is also a rather quick game.
I liked it but wasn't overwhelmed with it. Recommended as a freebie.
I recommend this game!

This might be OK for HOG lovers only as there is no adventure in this one. The graphics are just like the old HOG only games and it is hard to make things out at times. Also, there is a timer that can't be turned off.
I should of realized by the size of the game download it would be a bit too old.
As another reviewer states, that annoying character keeps on popping up. Not my cup of tea, but some might enjoy it.
I don't recommend this game.
