I was lucky enough to Beta the sequel and enjoyed it that much I went straight online and purchased this one.
It is not 'connected' to the upcoming sequel in any way that I can tell - so please don't feel you have to play this to enjoy the soon to be released new one.
That said - this game was so much fun that I just couldn't turn it off. Even the bonus game was great fun and long too.
There are quite a few collectibles (and most unusually at the end of the game if you don't have them all, you can continue to play until you find them! I was missing two and will admit to using the Strategy Guide to work out which two it was, sorry)
The graphics are great, the puzzles were fun without being too mind-bendingly hard or mind-numblingly easy..
Anyway, I'm gonna leave it there because others have reviewed it better than me - simply put - I highly recommend this game.
From the opening sequence to the very end, I absolutely loved this game. The graphics are excellent, the voiceovers are exactly that (none of that lip-syncing nonsense that very rarely works), I even had the music loud enough to hear!
It is full of interactive objects to play with purely for the fun, morphing objects, jigsaw pieces to find, collectibles etc etc. (I may have to play it again because I missed quite a few!)
It is a very long game as well compared to others I have played and the bonus game was a good length too.
The HOS were different in some respects because you had some items you had to do several things with in order to get what you wanted - like an animal in one scene which morphs three times before vanishing...
I am going to immediately say if you want this game, buy the Collector's Edition with extra content if this includes a bonus game.
Please don't misunderstand me, I loved the graphics in this game, I like the voices (where there were any), the little dachshund was gorgeous.
HOWEVER, there were two major flaws in the standard edition for me:
1 - no map and the hints were not exactly helpful 2 - the ending was atrocious! It just shut off. It is very hard to explain without spoilers but suffice to say, you track down the villain but there is no satisfactory ending.
I have to say I have bought all of the Redemption Cemetery games and this is my favourite out of all.
The visuals are dark and gloomy, the game play is quite long and involved in the CE version which I have, the bonus game is just as good. There is even a twist at the end which I didn't see coming.
There are the usual gripes though - only 3 souls to save and the music is a touch much and overly orchestral (almost as if one of this old cinema organ players were in the background to add atmosphere) but I turned this down.
The skeletal achievement awards are quite amusingly made too. I missed one for 'learning the mystery' - still a mystery to me if I'm honest!
Put simply, I loved this game - no morphers though but you collect various types of time pieces throughout. My advice is to buy this game and go enjoy it.
Put simply, I loved this game! I admit to being a hardened Whispered Secrets fan and this is a game of the same quality. The puzzles were (as far as I'm concerned# quite varied, the graphics were top quality and I didn't even mind the fact that the mouths didn't move!
It has everything I love - dragons, wizards, morphing bits #I missed two Dragonlings and was very upset I couldn't go back and find them!)
The bonus game is quite a decent length too. All in all, if this is the way that the series is going to go - then I'm at the front of the queue.
First of all let me start by saying that I enjoyed this game immensely. Like all the other Shadow Wolf games it centres on werewolves and/or their family problems...
The game play is great, the puzzles were fun (albeit I don't always have the patience to struggle for long, so skip a few#, the voices and sounds were very good, the graphics top notch as normal.
However, I have to say my main gripe is that I got this game purely because it was a Shadow Wolf game and I did expect it to tie into the others in the series at least in some way #e.g. like Crimson Moon - where the main characters are friends of the family in the first games and there are at least pictorial references to the other games). This one doesn't mention them at all - it is completely unrelated to the previous games so please don't be expecting that when you play.
That said - as mentioned above, it is a good game - I played the Collectors Edition and it really is worth the money. To me, the bonus game jarred slightly in that her father is suddenly the villain of the piece but again a very good game.
I liked having werewolf traits to use now and again and look forward to the next one.
I really enjoyed this game, I have to say. There are no morphing wotnots, just some doves to find - the mini games are quite good too a nice mix of logic and hand/eye co-ordination.
If I'm honest I preferred the first one but that is just me.

Simply put I loved this game. This review is based on a Collector's Edition game.
The main game is loosely based on the nursery rhyme There was a crooked man... with other nursery rhyme characters mixed in.. simply put it is the most original hidden object game I've played in a long time.
The bonus parts include the normal extra part of the main game, as well as a whole extra game.
The graphics are great with interactive objects etc..
Right of the bat, let me say I loved this game. The leopards are wonderfully drawn and the sound effects and general graphics are great.
The challenges are fun too and the storyline leans heavily on the first game, which is based around dogs!
That said, the script is a bit stilted - which to be fair is the only bad thing I can say about this game - EXCEPT it said I would get an achievement for morphing objects and I didn't see a single one throughout the game (and I looked trust me).
I found hidden cats and scrolls - but nothing morphed either in the main game or the hidden object bits.
The hidden object sections were good to and varied between standing finding things from a list, to putting things back where they belong, matching shadows etc...
All in all a great game. I did encounter a bug at the very end, but nobody else has mentioned it so it might just be my copy - don't let it put you off playing - it was right at the very end....
