I play to relax and this game is timed only. That is not relaxing. I liked the first level or two but when I realized I could not switch to a relaxed mode it became an instant no buy for me.
If you are willing to spend 20-30 min on one level you might like this game. It was absolutely not for me but give it a try. It's worth the 60 minute trial and who knows it may be just right for you.
This seems to be a game by the developers of Imperial Island and Save Halloween. And I loved the last two installments of those games. I am enjoying this one a lot. A Christmas theme that is fun. Usual sort of game play. I play relaxed so I can enjoy the game with no stress. It doesn't have the obstacles you encountered in the previously mentioned two games like dragons and ghosts but it has a decorate the house theme that is very enjoyable.
So far I am enjoying this game to the point I am willing to buy it. It's fun to not only buy decorations but to be able to put them where you want them. Some sort of change-up would have been nice. Mini-games? My hope is that it does not develop into one of those games where the levels get so difficult a person just quits. So far I don't see any signs of that happening.
I was beginning to wonder if a Christmas solitaire game was going to happen this year and then---there it was. My favorite Christmas solitaire. Silly, but cute story line. The mini puzzles are mostly simple but the pipes do have a level of challenge that I enjoyed.
Ok first the good. I liked the way after each chapter it morphed into a picture. The pictures were nice. Bad....Numbers are not crossed off as you get them. I have a large monitor but even on it some of the puzzles were so big that the squares and numbers were very small. I did find it very helpful to turn colors off so you only see the grid of the color you are currently working. Overall if you want a cheap buy as all of the Big Fish games are this is worth it but if you are looking for a great game this is not it,
Laruaville is always fun to play. My second favorite series- only second to Cursed House. That game requires more thinking about game play. This time the ghosts are actually kind of funny as in amusing not weird. Basic game play is similar to other Laruavilles but this game has that nice added extra that I so like. Bonus games. I like the bonus games as much or more than the basic game. And there is a new character- demanding and a bit bossy but also funny. This is one of the few games I buy on sight-no trial needed.
I have played for almost an hour and a half- yes, I bought it, but I have to stop. The colors are so bright and those fireworks going off in the background gave me a headache. Another reason for only giving it a three is at least the first two puzzles. Most puzzle games of that sort lock in a piece when you get it in the right place thus giving you something to work from. These don't. And I still don't like the way they mark off empty spots. I wish they would do like Crystal Mosaics and Forest Riddles and simply drop those spots out of the game. If bright bright colors and flashing things in the background give you headaches this might not be the game for you.

There are a variety of matching levels. In some you match identical object, in others you match same color different size. There is also match color and non-color. In some it's a three object match. Each level in each section is different. At the end of each group of levels there is a puzzle to solve. You also earn furniture and food for Thanksgiving. Not a brainiac game for sure but I enjoyed the demo hour enough that I bought it. I did play relaxed simply because I do not like timed games.
I feel like I have played this game before or maybe the one that came before this? But I am enjoying it and as I only have 3 min. left of the one hour trial, I guess I will buy it. So overall, not great but sure worth buying. The most negative thing I would say is there are no hints on the hidden object levels. Not fun to get down to one and then have to choose skip because you simply cannot find it.
