I played the first Crystal Mosaics quite a long time ago and loved it. So I was excited to see a Crystal Mosaics 2 come out. It doesn't disappoint. The colors are still amazing. The game is very logic based and the pictures make sense. Crystal Mosaics although seldom released is worth waiting for. Hopefully they will continue to make this game. A story line would be welcome or a few mini puzzles but as a mosaic game this is one of the best.

First of all I understand this is a 'jigsaw mosaic' but it just doesn't work for me. Those lines between each piece are annoying. Second the theme has absolutely nothing to do with the pictures. Third, very soon I became frustrated with all the straight edges on the pieces. Since when does a jigsaw puzzle have so many straight edges? I probably could have tolerated the first two but definitely not the third. Altogether this became a no buy for me.
This was a poor example of a clutter game. Not ever near on a par with the original clutter games. Not too surprising since it is by a developer who is less than my favorite having created a lot of numeric mosaic games that leave a lot to be desired. Like logic based. This was an attempt to create a cutsey clutter game. It failed.
I asked for harder. I said there was too much help. And, boy , did I get it. This game is much harder, trickier, difficult.....And I love it! I have only played the first hour but this is a definite buy for me. It may frustrate me, make me want to pull hair by the roots but it is great. A little more hint on where I am supposed to move would be nice but overall I love the difficulty. The last two Cursed House games were just too easy. I replayed 1 and 2 just for the challenge. 3 and 4 were okay but 5 and 6 were too easy.
The first two reviews were rather negative but I have played the first hour and am going to buy the game. Sure the icons are a bit cutsey but I enjoy the game play. At the end of each level everything explodes. Cool. Every sixth level there is dialogue and a hidden object scene. Those are pretty easy but not too easy. So I will continue playing in the hopes that he will find his body.
First of all the colors are so bright. A color choice would have been better. Secondly from the first level the mosaics are large and not easy. I can only think they will get worse. At the end of the first level was a switch it puzzle but nothing ever locked into place. No way to know if you had a piece in the right spot. Lastly, you must average at least two stars on every level to play the puzzle. One mistake loses you a star.

Consistently one of the best mosaic games. I have played all 36 and I am never disappointed. A small thing but I really like that I don't have to beg to exit. So many games you have to say Yes three or four times before it finally believes you really do want to quit now.
The first time I loaded it I also got the fatal error. Then I saw where someone said it had been fixed so I tried it again and had no problems. Overall it was fun to play. I only gave it 4 stars because it is one of those games where you are done building the resort quite awhile- like 16 levels- before the end of the game and that is always irritating.
I really enjoyed this game. The items were not too hard to find and you get plenty of power-ups to find those that are really well hidden. The mini games are pretty simple but fun. Overall the gameplay is great. This is a simple HOG. No dark gloomy places, no inventory, no confusion.
