As usual with Jewel Match the solitaire game play is very good. Always a good game to play. And I do like games with buildings. However, it would be nice to build a town or a garden or? It's always castles. The one Jewel Match, I think it was for Valentines, did have more to offer. I would like to see something else. It's beginning to feel like I am playing the same game.
This was a fun game to play. The cards were clear. The mini games were good except a hint on the hidden object levels would have been nice. I never did find that last scroll. Two reasons I did not give it a 5 star. The game was pretty short. And there was one achievement I didn't get even by the end of the game. Since I finished every level and completed every mini game except for that scroll that was rather irritating.

This is the best mosaic game I have ever found. I am on level 100 and have not needed to use hints. To me that alone tells how well done this game is. You can figure it out on your own. I hate those mosaic games with a lot of straight edges that I feel I am guessing or using hints. The colors are very nice. The pictures are clear. There isn't a story line that I have seen other than at the very beginning. Maybe there will be a follow up after level 150. That's another good thing. There are 150 mosaics.
The idea behind the game was good. A competition to grow the biggest pumpkin- the winner gets the farm. We pretty much know the young lady is going to win from the beginning. The actual game play was dull. Many of the levels took forever simply because there were so many different types of pieces on the board it took time to just make a match. Every level is simply match three with nothing to break it up. A mini game or two would have been a welcome break. Seemed to take forever to accumulate enough money and diamonds. If you actually bought a power-up- there went your few diamonds.
This is one of the poorest examples of pic cross I have seen. Nothing is marked off until you complete the row. If you have the first two numbers of say a 10 you cannot start on the first number and go across to ten. You have to start on the third number and remember you only need to go 7 more. The colors? So far it has only been one color with the others added after you finish the level so basically it is just one color. Doubt I would play it even if Big Fish gave it away.
I am totally not a fan of limited moves or limited time. I play to relax. This might have been okay if it had a relaxed choice. Even if it had the characters are cartoonish. Just nothing to tell you to buy it. I wish I had read PennMom's review before I bothered downloading. I would not have.

Far Kingdoms should stick to solitaire which they do very well. Too many of these mosaics were not solvable by logic. Also the story line and the mosaics seemed to have nothing in common. I did enjoy the breaks with the little jigsaw puzzles. It's a good game but not one where I strongly encourage others to buy.
I am really enjoying this game but there are a few things that could be improved. First of all some directions. There have been several times I really had no clue what I was doing. Second, it would have been better if the hidden object quests were separate from the game. I played on relaxed. Glad I chose that not limited moves- and yes, you do have a choice. Be careful about choosing power-ups. On one level I had the ice cream cones and they were so busy blowing things up it was hard to get the matches of five I needed. Overall a fun game.

Only a bit of change from Match Ventures 1 . There is a castle to build. Game play seems more difficult. And we are under the castle. Other than that I have to agree with the other reviewers. It's pretty much the same game which is disappointing. I loved Match Ventures 1. I hate to discourage the developers of this game since they did such a great job creating Match Ventures 1 but this game? I feel like I would be buying the same game twice.
The colors and the game play were good. Not great. I really like how in the Forest series and Fantasy Mosaics the numbers are marked off for you as you do each number not the whole row. My biggest negative was there was no running total of how much you had earned so you did not know when you could go buy a new object for the office. And the office was rather dull.
