This series rates amongst my top favourites. Its been a long time since we had a new game. Having said that, its not really that much of a new game. It is VERY similar to the others in the series, but I consider this one also VERY similar to another old favourite..(I feel like I am playing Royal Envoy in another set of clothing lol) There are even treasure chests!

Its a standard build, reap rent, and meet the goals TM. It has a relaxed and a timed mode. You wont however find a timer bar..you are given a certain amount of days to get your jobs done and get gold, silver etc stars if you meet the amount of days you were allocated. Its a bit disconcerting at times not having a bar, but you get used to about how long a day is and how much time you actually have.
You will build and upgrade tents, houses, hire workers, make gardens, decorative plants, manafacture tools and (seeds for the gardens) as well as build recreational and food sites. You often have to meet a goal of reaching a daily income as well as perhaps a specified amount in hand at the end of the level.
Its a bit old school but beautifully animated, a decent but achievable level of challenge and absolutely a lot of fun to play. Try the demo, but I am smiling. I love it.
I recommend this game!

When I first saw this game I had decided I wasn't going to like it because I expected it to be a cheap knockoff masquerading as something else and I was sure I would be dissapointed. Wrong! It is a really skillful and cute game!
After only the first tutorial levels (and the tute is good)..I was really having to use my grey cells and strategy to get through with gold. (there is a hard and relax mode as well as timed)
Yes its a standard TM rescourse game..gather, build, fight enemies..get rid of wolves lol, but it has a really nice vibe and smoothness to it, and although I cant see ahead, this developer is known for putting lots of levels in their games, so I hope that is so. The levels themselves are quite long.(I'm just past the demo)..There are achievements to earn too.
Try the demo, you will soon be in a game where you need to collect and direct yourself with discipline or not make it. I also judge a game on whether it makes me smile whilst playing not just how intricate it is. (yep)
Don't let this little gem pass you by for an SE its good value.
I recommend this game!

I am loving this one! It is familiar to other offerings in the series as to what to expect, dynamite, dropping fluid, rockets, fire spreading to frozen, mist, keys and locks, ladybugs, minigames and building a scene with your loot.
When I saw the game come up I hesitated as I have all the others..but there are quite a few features in this one that have been vamped up in the gameplay.
Once this game was ONLY about coins, NOW there are coloured tiles you must clear and sometimes that takes quite a few matches over them which can actually get your adrenaline going hoping each one is the last lol.
Often the goals are to collect a certain number of a particular token to clear parts of the board, but also sometimes if you gather them all too early they are the thing that brings the dropping rocks down, adding quite a lot of strategy to what you do. In fact I have found that I am thinking a lot here...its not mindless matching. Which direction you go is paramount..
The new tiles are just so pleasant and eyepleasing and I certainly don't feel like I am rehashing any of the games I own again. Theres only about 100 levels, which isn't huge, but there are the skippable mini games that pad it out to a decent time for an SE. There are three modes of play,timed, relaxed and limited moves.
I am loving this one for covering all the criteria, sound, looks, smooth game play and skill. Try the demo, but really I think its fabulous!
I recommend this game!

This series has been going for a while and the first offerings I found a bit repetitive and boring. They have upped the game since those days and this offering is very good. It is a just a VERY standard gather resource game. Wood, gold, food, stone, defeat enemies and build buildings according to the tasks.
One thing about this game is that it is not as linear as you think. You don't have to clear the road in its order and can duck up further ahead (if allowed) to get things going quicker. There are portals that require opening, bridges to build, gold from piles and food from bushes and wood from trees you must do yourself as well as the buildings.
The timer on this one is TOUGH, but there is a relax mode and a hard mode. I found myself repeating often just on normal...until..I gave in and looked at the very good guide. DUH! Its accurate and worth following to get there. (that's when I remembered you could move past items sometimes to get the one you want)
There is a bonus chest extra that you get every few completed levels, faster workers, % off cost of things etc. Its a lucky guess of three. There is also a speed up on the game bar too. There is not much new here in this offering, and other resource buildings like libraries are only just starting to appear after quite a few levels, but with 50 available and then an extra chapter for this CE version..the game is filling in nicely for variety
It has wallpapers and art, and does therefore qualify as a CE. Not the most awe inspiring game but a really decent offering which is nice to say of a series I disliked when it was first developed. It will satisfy your TM needs. Enjoy.

Firstly this game is ok. Its not a 'bad' game. I did have to subtract stars simply for the enjoyment factor. Its a standard build and gather resource game and the graphics are first class. However there is just too much stuff everywhere to collect and it can become quite overwhelming trying to locate it. Sometimes just finding the start point tent took a lot of eye work.
I feel as though my eyes are on fast forward constantly scanning the way 'too small' items. That includes the people you are required to heal on most levels..you have to really search to find them sometimes. Often only the task list let me know one was still lurking about somewhere.
To begin it was pure confusion, so much to take in very fast, but I got the hang of it and the strategies are quite clever. but once again, when given the choice of what to build on a lot, there was again more 'scanning' to differentiate what was already there and not to 'double build' Whew! At least you can demolish lol
There are bonuses like speed up, or increase production that you must find also scattered about on the game screen as well as the ones also on the familiar bar at the bottom. At the end of the day its fairly hard work to get through the levels. And to me that takes away some of the fun factor.
Such a shame as this developer is one of my favourites and I have never had this reaction before. There are many games that are not as in depth as this, or have the good graphics standard, but it is just too busy to play with great enjoyment.Try the demo, I did buy it, just to have another a fairly decent TM game.

What a fabulous second offering in this series. I am not usually a fan of limited moves m3"s, but this one is eyepleasing, lots of explosive action, and really just a lot of fun to play. If it is like the first in the series, it also has lots of levels.
The storylines in this one have been taken up a notch and you will visit 4 different lands as you travel the universe. The first is Beetletopia, where a comet has left the only inhabitants insects, and the 'giants' (humans) have left behind a messy place. Your levels get to clean it up as you progress and earn money. The dialogue is really humorous, and the cartoon type drawings of insects doing housework quite amusing.
The other three worlds are Floraprime, a botanical world, Sweetica, a candy land, and Bermuda, a tropical world. You can open these up at anytime once you have earned enough money to do so. The more moves you have left over at the end of the level, the more money you earn.
There are five profile slots available, so the whole family can play at once, and really it is a quite easy game to play. I tried two of the four modes, normal and expert..and I am doing just fine. There is easy and a totally relax mode with no limit on the amount of moves
I think there is something for everyone here, but try the demo. Its a sweet and comical game so far and makes me smile.
I recommend this game!

I think this could well be the best game to emerge for many years. The story is heartwarming, the graphics simply beautiful, and the gameplay outstanding and unusual.
It is very different from what is usually classified as a H/Object puzzle game and would probably fit just as well into adventure or puzzle catagories on their own.
I must admit I have played the game before on another platform. However..I have purchased it again as BFG has come to the rescue and modified this version with a hint button and a skip button for the puzzles which was my only frustration with the original, having to constantly close down and find a walkthrough to move on. This version has made it a thoroughly enjoyable experience. It takes a LOT for me to buy a game twice!!
You will spend many hours emersed in a fantasy world with a heartwarming mission to save your sick child owner and find a cure for her illness and using all your senses. The story can make you emotional at times.
Try the demo, keep an open mind, take your time and enjoy. I think this is the game of the year. (if not the decade) Thanks BFG!

Once I got over my surprise at how different this is to other games of the same name, I am really enjoying it. It is a bit tedious getting started but that is your learning tool.
The similiarity to past games is that you must set up and run a farm requiring the acquisition of workers, buildings, and stock. The difference is that whilst you will still be running your farm, your quests and requests will come from a mystical island across the sea which you can travel to freely. From these you earn you rewards such as new buildings, plants and abilities. Leveling up for other rewards are earned by producing and selling on your own farm
The graphics are cheerful and friendly, and there is absolutely no time pressure. Love that. There are magic chests that appear and also give you tokens, and the odd mole who needs whacking on the head.
It is an adaption from the phone market, with only one profile, but once you finish you can reset to play again. Many tasks require you to reach a level ahead, so its obviously got longevity of play when you explore the levels you need and the size of the game screen. Many and much! Its not a game of excitement, but a thoroughly enjoyable time waster. There are also achievements to collect as you proceed.
This game is eye pleasing, relaxing and good value. Love it.
I recommend this game!

Whilst I was a bit concerned on level one where the sisters first task was to wash the dishes, it soon became and adventure and the sisters were off on similar adventures to their brothers. In fact it could be seen as the same game with a few differerent features to Viking Bros.
What's different? Whilst still a standard 'gather resources' TM, with the build and upgrade, clear the paths, complete the quests and use your bonuses wisely, In this game chests containing resources must be first opened with a key, and food and trees must be re-grown with a quantity of gems once they are expired. Meaning there are more places and buildings to visit. There is also an alter that changes food to gold.
The action is fast and smooth, the graphics are top quality, and every few levels there is a mini-game mahjong style to play. There are also puzzle pieces to find (but they are huge lol) and hovering your mouse over the level tells you if there is one.
All in all, a real winner and lot of fun. Enjoy TM fans!

This game may suit children to initiate them into sim games. But after playing the demo I simply found it slow and tedious.
It has a lot of bells and whistles and things to keep track of, such as medicine, food, water etc, and you must keep your flock going, manufacturing rainclouds, feeding them, sheering them, buying more stock etc. But to be honest I think my flock would end up neglected from me falling asleep.
This game was more boredom than fun. I think once again adapted from the FTplay phone market. It may just pass as ok on that medium. Only one profile, and simply not good enough for large screen, or those who like things to move along. Not a buy for me.
