This hidden object game is a far cry from the traditional, has a whole range of puzzles of varying difficulty, and no story or adventure to follow. What you get instead with Pure Hidden, is just one ingenious little vignette after another with stuff cleverly hidden. The styles of art for the backrounds range from comic strip illustration, to graffiti, to stylish graphic art ,to scrapbook pages, to multi-layered collage. The hint button glows pink when it is refilled, and there is no wrong click penalty in the "Zen" mode of playing. Hours of clever and brain stimulating fun.
This game uses crayon box colors to create the background and the fanciful dwellings. There are flowers, fruits, vegetables and trees that become homes when you earn money to build them. The further along the game progresses, the more investment you need to make to Upgrade your structures. There is a cute side game of betting on snails on a racetrack, where you can either add to or deduct from your accumulated winnings. The game allows you to continue playing even after the village is completed. This reminds me a lot of "Fishdom ", which I also liked. The figures on the game boards are on the small side, but become easier to see once the background colors change. I have only played this in relaxed mode, so have no opinion about how challenging it would be with a timer. Fairy tale graphics, and a relaxing game, though fairly short.
I recommend this game!

Even though some of the scenes are a bit muted, I still enjoyed searching for the items each time around. There is a soothing loop of music which I also like. There seems to be no penalty for wrong clicks, and the bonus points add up fast. I like using the "skip" feature on some of the puzzles, at first, but got more comfortable trying them as the game continued. I will try another "Amazing Adventure" soon.
I recommend this game!

This is a different twist on Hidden Object games, as many techniques and distortions are used to obscure single objects. And it is up to you to submit the correct guess in naming the object. In the classic set scenes, you complete the missing parts of objects already there. The art style is suggestive of the 40's and 50's as are some of the objects. Not much of a storyline IMO, but I liked the challenge of using fewer tries to guess the objects, each time I played.
