BASED ON COMPLETION OF DEMO ONLY:
I knew from the very first cut scene that this would be a great game to play, and for these reasons:
1. The cut scenes were remarkably clear and concise
2. The music gave the feeling of what adventure and intrigue were yet to come.
3. The HOS were somewhat on the difficult side but were still on the FUN side. The morphing objects were also difficult to find, as they didn't seem to morph as quickly as perhaps
other games.
4. An interactive map that was simple and easy to read.
5. A very interesting story line that makes you eager to want to finish.
All in all, even though I rarely buy CE's because I can do without all of the extras, with this game, I will definitely make an exception. Give the demo a try, you might agree with some of the other great reviews already posted.
I recommend this game!

After completion of demo:
Although I have the previous two Enigmatis games, I haven't played them yet. But after playing the demo, I purchased this game right away (this game I can't wait to finish, just to see what happens).
This game offers:
An exciting storyline
Fun and not so hard mini-games/puzzles
Great voiceovers and good interaction between both detectives
An interesting way to gather evidence by use of a cell phone, thereby letting you pretend you're 'Columbo', 'Perry Mason', or even 'Scooby-Doo' :)
Try the demo. It just might surprise you.
I recommend this game!

I played perhaps 20 mins of the game and realized that I didn't care for it. For those of you who like 'murder mysteries', where you have to continually 'search for clues', then this game would be great.
The mini-games were on the difficult side (at least to me, as I don't necessarily care for mini-games/puzzles). The HOS were dark with items oftentimes piled together, which made it more difficult to find items.
I would still recommend trying the demo. For all of you 'Dead Reckoning' fans, this game is perfect for you.
I recommend this game!

This review is based only on the demo, and I haven't even finished it yet but I had to submit this review first. I think this is the first Ominous Object game that I have played, and I have to say that I think I've missed out if the other games are as good as this one.
Mr.Jenkins is simply hilarious. When he goes over to the puddle of water and starts playing in it, this was so funny. Plus the time he's climbing on top of a box of suitcases and ends up falling. All you have to do is watch him (he sits on the bottom left-hand side of the inventory bar) and he's always doing something 'cat-like'.
What I didn't like was the way the young girl spoke, moved, and acted. She moved rather strangely, almost between a robot and a puppet. She also didn't appear very life-like. Other than that I enjoyed what I've played so far.
One thing that I initially found difficult is bringing the people out of the camera. You have a camera that the evil red-misted ghost "Z" has possessed. Once he has taken a picture of someone, they get lost within their own picture. You then have to take the picture and place it EXACTLY where it was taken. When trying to extract poor Mr. Jenkins from the camera, I had a very difficult time placing his photo 'just right'. After that, I was able to it with little difficulty.
Surprisingly, the mini-games that I encountered so far, provided a nice challenge without being too difficult, and I don't like puzzles or mini-games if they are too difficult.
I find this game very exciting so far, with a great storyline, and I can't wait to get back to it. Please check out the demo. It may be something that you won't regret.
I recommend this game!

This game grabs your attention from the very first scene. As you enter the house of your uncle's (who has left you an urgent letter requesting your help), the house becomes immediately engulfed in flames. You can actually feel the sense of urgency in this scene, as you watch the billowing flames of heat trap you in your uncle's office. You approach the door, only to have the wood splinter before your eyes. With the assistance of various items found in the room, you manage to get out safely. You then are taken to another room, but the entrance that leads you to safety is also blocked by flames. You find the parts of an old water tank, douse the flames and make it out of the house with just minutes to spare.
After this exciting and scary first scene, the rest of the demo seemed to fall flat. The music is supernatural, mysterious and oftentimes eerie. The mini-games in the demo were somewhat on the difficult side, but with a little patience, they are not too hard to figure out. The HOS seemed incomplete somehow, with very little objects to find, but some interaction was needed. You can also choose to play a Match 3 game if you don't want to play the HOS. The colors throughout this game are dark and drab, so if you are more into the fairy-tale, fantasy genre where the colors are bright and eye-catching, you'll be disappointed.
The game overall is not an easy one, per se, as the storyline seems to be a little confusing at times. You have various 'gadgets' that I don't necessary like, and the interactive map is OK, kind of a jumbled mis podge of messiness.
Overall, the game doesn't seem to be as good as the previous ones, but it is a decent game to add to your "Myths of the World" collection.
I recommend this game!

This is the first Labyrinths game I've played, so I'm basing my review on the demo only. After reading the description of the game, and reading some of the reviews, I really didn't think I'd like this type of game. And buying a CE is rather rare for me, but since there is a great sale today, I thought I'd download this game, and give it a try. AND I'M GLAD I DID!
I was so impressed with even the opening of the game (where it gives a short premise of what is happening). The graphics are outstanding. The colors vibrant, crisp, and absolutely beautiful. Each scene (and the demo only takes you back and forth between three, I think) is filled with vitality and gives one a sense of 'AWH' just to gaze upon the richness and attention to detail.
The voiceovers are perhaps the best I've seen in quite a while. The characters also appear very life-like and realistic.
The music is scene appropriate. The mini-games(in the demo) weren't all that difficult, and I'm not a mini-game person.
Like previous reviewers have already pointed out, this CE is filled with things to collect. What makes this game different than any other game I've seen, is at the far right of a scene, sits three different icons: artifacts, statuettes, and morphing objects. When you are in any given scene, the icon/button will sparkle telling you that you need to find that particular object. It stops when you've collected the necessary item. There is also an abundance of colored gems to find in each scene.
All in all, I'm glad I gave this game a try. It is truly a GEM!
I recommend this game!

Of all the almost 500+ games I've played in the past and present, one would normally expect the game to start out in two ways:
1) A preview of what's to come or what's happened
2) THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE GAME:
- The starter page, where you add your name to your profile
-Where you choose your options (which to me, and to others, I'm sure is THE most important part of ANY game

This game bypasses this major area of any game that I've ever seen or played and takes you to a whopping scene where you have absolutely NO IDEA WHAT IS HAPPENING OR WHAT TO DO!
Then from that scene, you're taken into the actual game, where there are areas in which you play a 'mini HOS' (which are timed). Then various important historical figures appear (Abe Lincoln, Cleopatra, Einstein) and tell you they need an item for you to find. Then it's total chaos, IMHO!
You're earning $, (which you probably have no actual clue how you earned it since the game is like riding a huge wave in an endless ocean).
After about 3-5 minutes, I had had enough and I clicked out of this 'game' and immediately deleted it.
So I'm assuming, you already have my answer to the question we are all asked if we're reviewing a game.
NO, I do not recommend this game (Sorry Big Fish)!
I don't recommend this game.

This 'Reflection of Life' Game Exhibits A Bad Reflection From The Previous Games

REVIEW BASED ON COMPLETION OF THE DEMO:
I've only played one 'Reflections of Life' game, but it's been awhile, so I don't remember the storyline behind this particular game.
The graphics were blurry, not clear at all. Music seemed appropriate for a specific scene. The colors seemed drab in appearance.
There were collectibles: little, colored, round creatures who made a noise every time they were captured. They were so big that it was ridiculously easy to find (not much of a challenge).
The HOS were interesting, as they were somewhat different than what we're used to seeing. One particular HOS had three different scenes that appeared like the pages in a book, and you had to find certain objects/fragments and decide which scene they fit in. Each item corresponded with the next and so forth.
Like other reviewers have mentioned, the demo ended rather abruptly, but still, this game doesn't hold enough of a spark to light my imagination, so the game won't be a purchase for me.
Still, give the demo a try, as we all have different opinions, and this game may be just what you are looking for.
I don't recommend this game.

I have the other Vacation Adventure games, and when I saw this one, I immediately purchased it, sight unseen. This is how much faith I place on the developer of this game and the previous ones (can't remember the name of the developer), to give me as much enjoyment, as I have had with the previous ones.
One thing that I have noticed with this game, however, is it seems harder. The items are extremely difficult to find, more so than the Vacation Adventure: Cruise Director 2.
On the plus side, there doesn't seem to be as many recyclables to find, as the trash recycling bin seems to fill rather quickly (which I'm glad).
I do, however, wish that either the music be different than the previous two, or at least have a different melody once in awhile.
All in all, if you are a fan of the Vacation Adventure series, don't hesitate to take a cruise of your life (it might be, and probably is, the 'only' cruise you'll be able to afford).
I recommend this game!

I have all of the 'Witches' Legacy' games and have enjoyed every one of them. This particular game grabbed me from the start. And here is why:
1. Absolutely beautiful graphics, with a distinct and impressive use of vibrant colors.
2. Practically 'everything' you click on, has some type of interaction, which I love. I think it makes the game more fun because it gives you the feel of actually 'being in the game.'
3. Fun (with a variety of levels of a challenge) mini-games and puzzles.
4. The option of playing a HOS or a match-game, I think most gamers here on Big Fish seem to like this option, and there are not a lot of games that offer this option.
5. Music is appropriate and changes according to what is happening in any given scene.
If you've like the other Witches' Legacy games, then don't hesitate to try this one. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I recommend this game!
