I don't know how I missed this game when it first came out but I'm so glad I finally found it!! I absolutely loved this game and so wish I had purchased the CE so I could have played the bonus game!
Normally I skip most of the mini-games because they are usually jigsaw type puzzles and ring puzzles etc. and I hate those. The games in this game were different and fun, I think I only skipped 2 in the entire game and that's saying a lot.
I loved the environments which were all normal every day looking places, which is my personal preference and what we find far too few of in the hidden object genre.
The story was told throughout so you never lost sight of what was happening and why.
It was relatively easy but not so easy that it became boring. I loved it so much I'm replaying it again today!

I was simply mesmerized and enchanted by this gorgeous fun and whimsical game!
This for me, is what a 5-star game looks like. I finished the whole game including the bonus game and I have to say I was so sorry to see it end! Usually, by the bonus I'm getting bored and kind of ready for the game to be over but not with this game, I didn't want it to ever end!
The graphics were so beautiful I didn't want to leave the enchanted realm and come back to reality so I started playing the game all over again, something I've never done before!
I will say most of the mini-games were relatively easy as I was able to do them. The hidden object scenes were highly interactive sometimes there were 2 or 3 levels to them! The music was lovely and fit each scene, but it was the scenery for me that stole the show. Simply breathtaking and enchanting!
I've never purchased a game from this developer that I didn't absolutely love and I really wish they would put out more games more often. I know it takes time to make something this lovely and thought out, but I do wish we'd get at least 2 or 3 a year from Boolat instead of so many from a select few game developers.
I normally do not buy the CE edition of games but I just had to have this game and BF was offering such a great sale that I purchased it as soon as the demo ended and I'm so very glad I did! The story does wrap up nicely in the SE edition so you do not need to purchase the CE unless you want the bonus game and the collectibles, this SE edition will do nicely for half the price!

I thoroughly enjoyed the heck out of this game! I don't normally purchase the CE edition of games unless I think they are going to be very good and I felt that way about this game so with the sale I purchased it and I do not regret it at all!
I'm really not sure of the low reviews from most who didn't even play the game but I played the entire game, the bonus game, and the other mini bonus game and I thought it was all great fun.
The game progresses and plays like every other game we have here on BF but the story was really fun and different. It's basically a bit of a rift on the show survivor, someone with a broken heart finds what they think is an immunity idol but in the end, it turns out she unleashes a very old very baddddddddddd evil entity. Your job if you choose to take the case is to flush this demon out and lock him away again forever!
I love the locations they are all regular everyday modern environments and jungle locals. I love being in regular modern, everyday settings instead of the same old same old, overly colored fantasy lands, or dark dreary, broken down, ugly, bug infested environments which we see a lot of. I wish we had more games like this.

I Love this game! In complete contrast to the other Christmas game that I was very disappointed with, I am overjoyed and surprised to find this little piece of Holiday Heaven!
This is from Domini games which I almost always love because they have lovely bright and colorful graphics, easy to follow storyline that continues throughout the entire game and they offer a match 3 if you get tired of the hidden object scenes and they also offer you an easy or difficult button on all their mini games!!
This is a fun little story that takes place in OZ one of my favorite places and it's all decked out for the holidays, which just put me in a happy place and gave me some Christmas spirit which I'm sorry to say I've been sorely lacking this season. So Thank You Domini and Merry Christmas to everyone and I hope you all enjoy this fun, easy and light-hearted, Christmassy game. I'm off to do the same!

What a deep disappointed this game turned out to be. I Love Elephant games and I so look forward each year to buying one of the few CE editions, our beloved Christmas game. Well, that's not going to happen this year as I honestly did not like this game. I found it lacked Christmas spirit, a Christmas story and it's not really decked out with Christmas decorations either. I'm sorry to say this is a big fat no for me! Even without the Christmas theme or decorations I might have purchased the SE if I didn't find the game boring, and slow going but I did so sorry to say I won't even be buying the SE edition when it comes out.

I purchased this game last year but since it was after Christmas I thought I'd hold on to it and play it this Christmas. Well, I just played it and I really, really enjoyed it!
The scenes were very Christmasy, the music was pleasant, the games and hidden object scenes were fun and creative but best of all the story was wonderful and had a perfect theme for this time of year! Helping others!!!! I liked this game way more than the new one out this year, that game I'm sorry to say I don't find very Christmasy at all. Other great Holiday games I recommend are Tin Soldier, and Puss and Boots, I don't recommend the Nutcracker.
I'm so glad I purchased this game and can't wait to play it again!

I really enjoyed this game. It was loosely based on Beauty and the Beast without being a rip off of the actual story. I loved it!
The game itself was very beautiful with lovely music.
I really enjoyed all of the hidden object scenes and puzzles.
I didn't give it 5 stars for one reason, the game was easy, really easy and that's saying something because I tend to like an easy to follow game and storyline but even I felt this was a bit too easy. There were places that this could have been made harder which would have enhanced the fun.
All and all a very beautiful and enjoyable game! This series keeps getting better and better. Hope to see a lot more games from this developer.

Since this is an older game and not many people will see this review I'll keep it short and sweet. THIS GAME WAS AWESOME!
It was so pretty, and so much fun, I played it straight through without stopping!

Let me just say I agree with GrannyGruff's assessment of the game for most of the reasons she's given. I almost always agree with her and if she recommends a game you can be sure you really will enjoy it. On this game I will disagree with the not recommending the game, I do recommend it, it's fun, it's just not near as good as the older games in the Surface series, which I gave 5 stars, this game I'm afraid does not deserve 5 stars!
I really wish they'd bring back the putting of pieces into the hidden object scenes it was the most unique thing about the surface games and something no other game designer has ever done. At first, It annoyed me but once I got used to it I loved it!

I too am getting pretty tired of things that don't make any sense as GG pointed out in her review. Can the game designers please incorporate a little more logic in their games. Is that really too much to ask? Maybe they can also come up with new scenarios instead of missing zipper pulls and zippers etc. that have rusted, both of which have never happened in real life and I have purses that are 50 years old!
Elephant almost always gives you a fun and entertaining game and they do so here as well.
It's not as good as past games, but it's far better than many of the other games that have come out these past few months.
