It has decent graphics and doesn't overwhelm you in time mode. If you don't have about a minuet left in Easy time mode you ain't working it right. The hard part is strategy. But it's fun trying to figure out the best time management approach for each level
You can play it in untimed mode and get all the extras. I completed each level in Hard timed mode and I'm not real fast. In the Bonus game you have easter eggs in the form of boxes. Not hard to find at all.
I liked only about 3 or 4 of the mood music selections.
Good game for kids.
I recommend this game!

Overall, the game is good and interesting. The biggest problem is the Graphics have detail but lack sharpness so it's on an impressionistic level. It makes for finding things difficult. I found myself using the hint button just because of the difficulty finding things.
You have a good jump map to navigate with and you will be using it allot unless your hardcore. It will tell you if actions are available. Sometimes you have an area to access but it won't show on the jump map unless you have entered it. Enter all areas right away when available so they show up on the map right away. Some indicated actions will be HOPs.
Some solutions are quirky and illogical. If one item doesn't work, try them all. And you have to be right on the item to select it or apply an item to it.
There are 3 easter eggs to find, a chimera, a crystal and coins. The crystals can be the hardest.
Hops can be very difficult because of the lack of sharpness, and some items are tiny. Some HOPs are tricky. In the Bonus section there are some really tough puzzles to solve which I skipped out on. But you have the guide also to help you solve them.
The story line is good, and the orchestrated music is OK, but too mellow for the game. You have a good variety of customizations in preferences.
There is some cool stuff in the extras section.
I recommend this game!

Story line is intriguing. The graphics are very good, good detail. The music is orchestra boring to me.
The play is good and it's possible to solve all hops and puzzles except 1, which I solved following the guide in extras play. It's very complicated.
There are 2 easter eggs to find- puzzle pieces and stained glass. With those you get a stained-glass mural and a picture puzzle. There is a good jump map interface for navigating around.
Standard customizations with a strategy guide.
I recommend this game!

Robin Hood - Spring of Life Collector's Edition
It's similar to the previous game edition.
Graphics are very good on a cartoon level. Game play is good with some levels very difficult.
You have this bonus interface where your characters get enhanced abilities on time mode. You get money after completing each H level to buy those enhancements. But you can't go back and get more money on the replay after completion. Be careful on how you delegate the funds as they are limited.
The mood music was not that good in my opinion but adequate for the game.
There are 3 easter eggs on each of the main levels indicated on the map for bragging rights. The map, as before, has a very good graphical interface.
I recommend playing all the levels in untimed mode and then go back and play in normal, timed mode.
I recommend this game!

The graphics are very good, lacking in some detail but colorful. Makes it hard to find things especially in HOPs. The music is not very good.
When I first played this game, I rushed through it. I was able to play the main game and the bonus game. When I played it a second time I when through the main game solving all the puzzles. When I tried to play the bonus game the base screen came up but the game interface did not.
I tried to bring up the task manager to shut down the game as my mouse cursor was not even present. The task manager did not come up. I had to do a logoff to shut down the game which also shut down everything else.
I deleted the game, a registry clean, deleting all directories and links to the game, and then a reboot. I reloaded the game, played through it again, and the same thing happened when I tried to play the bonus game. I can't say whether it is the game or a system glitch on my computer. So, I can't vouch for the puzzle solvability of the bonus game.
Some puzzles are hard but I solved all the puzzles in the main game. There are some tricky Hops, some items are hard to find. Some items to apply are not so apparent. Solving things is a challenge.

The game has OK colorful cartoon graphics. It has a variety of mood music at a chamber music format, light hearted, not heavy. You can play it untimed or timed in easy or hard modes. Although it's face appearance seems developed for kids the complexity, especially in timed mode, is on an adult level. So start the little ones in untimed and then let them progress to timed if they fell so motivated.
I finished all the levels in easy timed mode with many quite challenging.
On every level there is a puzzle easter egg in the form of a clock that translate to a puzzle piece. It has a tutorial and a basic strategy guide to set you off in the right direction.
Plenty of challenging levels to keep you busy for hours.
I recommend this game!
