Enjoyed the entire game. Everything was great and of high quality. Especially loved the feature where each chapter was separate so the back and forth only involved in the current chapter. As always, I recommend trying the trail before buying.
Loved the creepy but not scary atmosphere. Really had fun playing the game and was excited when I figured about all the extras, including the shop, achievements, wallpapers, and even a bonus game.
I feel like I was almost half way through the game after the trail but I couldn't resist finding out how it ended so I bought the game immediately after the trail was over. It is more an adventure game than hidden object games since there are actually no hogs but the mini games are interesting. Each chapter is a different dream and I love this setting. The only down side is that the cut scenes were somehow a little vague and not the same visual quality as the rest of the game. There are achievements and collectibles, but I find the collectibles only useful in the CE version, which I think is only available on iPad. As always, I recommend trying the trail before buying.
I was not very captivated by the storyline but the game play was very enjoyable. The hogs and mini games were just about the right challenge to me. I loved the History Scrolls, where you need to find the runes and complete the mini games in order to charge the crystal ball. The best part was finding all the puzzle pieces for the book and breaking the spell of each character. As always, I recommend trying the trail before buying.
This has been by favorite hidden object game for a long time, and I am still using the wallpaper from this game right now. I love everything about this game! The visuals are beautiful and the characters are depicted in such a delicate way that reminds me of the anime I loved. The music is gorgeous and the storyline is clear to follow. The mini games are very enjoyable to play as well as the hogs. I love the element of flashback portal that reveals the past without interrupting the main storyline. The thing I love most is how each chapter is separate and stand alone on the map. This limits the back and forth search to only the current chapter and makes it much more pleasant to play! This game gives me a very classic feeling and I would strongly recommend it.
I enjoyed the game just like I enjoyed all the other Mad Head games! I liked the visuals, the music, the mini games and the hogs. The voiceovers were excellent and I actually feel some chemistry going on between the two main characters the the time I heard their first dialog. The storyline had some good twists but overall pretty simple. As always, I recommend trying the trail before buying.
Without warning, a group of mysterious figures arrives and reduces your village to flames and rubble. What do they want... and who is controlling them?
I enjoyed this game mainly because of the good quality, including the music, the visuals, the mini games, the HOGs, the storyline, the collectables, and the achievements. However, I am not such a big fan of dragons and I did not find the bonus game very appealing. As always, I recommend trying the trail before buying.
I actually bought the game by accident because I didn't really like the casino part when I was tried the trail. However, the second half part of the game went way beyond my expectation, which was very rare these days since I could usually guess the rest of the storyline when played halfway through most games. I was not familiar with the Nevertales series when I played this game and the plot twist at the end really gave me an excitement. The best mini game also occurred at the end which intensified the atmosphere. I haven't seen any card game played this way and was really refreshing and quite challenging to me.
In my options, Smoke and Mirrors as well as the Legends are the best of the Nevertales series.
This one had almost nothing to do with the previous games in the Nevertales series, but it kept up with the same quality or even better. I enjoyed every minute playing the game. The story is complete in the main game and I wanted to play more. Kinda regret not buying the CE version.
The game itself was enjoyable, especially when played around Christmas and for those that love Christian Anderson stories like me. However, I use a Macbook Pro with OS X 10 and the fullscreen never worked and the bottom of the screen was blocked all the time. It didn't prevent me from completing the game, but it was a little annoying. Another thing that prevented me from giving it a five star was that a lot of back and forth was involved. As always, I recommend trying the trial before buying.
