Loved everything, including the storyline, the visual, the music, the voiceovers, and especially the wallpapers and concept art. However, the mini games are very repetitive. The bonus game was interesting but short. Also, I don't remember any collectables or achievements. Therefore, although I bought the CE version and enjoyed it, I would actually recommend the SE version instead.

It was the game in the first Dark Parables series that I played, and I found the rest of the series the more or less pretty much the same as this one. It involves a lot of back and forth moving to collect items, which was the probably the main reason I chose not to play the game a second time after I completed it. The bonus game didn't affect the main storyline and I don't think there were any collectables or achievements. Therefore, although I bought the CE version a long time ago and enjoyed it, I would recommend the SE version for those who are not a such a huge fan who wants to collect all CE versions in the series.
Every thing about this game is pretty the standard Bluetea quality. However, the music is totally awesome! I loved the background music so much that sometimes I just leave the scene there for 10 minutes without doing anything but enjoying the music. It was only because of the music that motivated me to play till the very end of the game.
This is a typical hidden object game with the usual solving mystery in an town as a phenomenon detective storyline. Graphic is Elephant standard with bright colors. Sound quality and voiceovers were good, and the dialogs did not annoyed me. HOGs and mini games were not challenging but did not bored me either. The map was efficient enough to travel around and gather things.
However, the cut scenes were totally a different story. When I watched the introduction scene at the beginning of the game I hoped that it was just that one scene. But I found myself entirely wrong. I just couldn't stand it when the second animation appeared in the same poor quality.
