I really enjoyed this game! It features all new monuments, a very slow timer and unlimited lives. It has most of the same bonus items as the older games but the new favorite feature of mine was when the timer would turn to ice and freeze for a while. Beating this one was a breeze!
This one was a definite improvement over the first simply for the fact that you didn't have to start the game all over if you lost all your lives (you'll just start at the beginning of the monument). I was able to make it to the end but unfortunately was not able to unlock the "secret" monument obtained from collecting pieces of maps. I enjoyed it very much despite the timer and limited lives, I even learned of a monument I never knew about!
NOTE: Previous reviews stated that they were unable to play this on newer systems but perhaps they've updated it since then because my laptop is 64-bit and runs on Windows 10 and I had no problems playing it.
This is an old-school murder mystery "Clue" like game. You go through the house and decide who the killer and victim is, what their motivation was, the type of murder weapon and so on. You are given clues by each of the guests in the house and you eliminate suspects and items one by one.
Even though the items got smaller and smaller and were sometimes tough to see, I still got a real kick out of this game. I was able to complete all 10 careers and only had to restart a case a couple of times.
The reviews were low, so I didn't go in expecting much. Although it's true that it has almost nothing to do with Doodle God, aside from the level titles, and it's true that it's more of a matching game than a solitaire game, I still enjoyed it.
I was able to complete all the newby levels. Each game was organized differently and had its different challenges. You will have to play a few games over and over again to pass on to the next level, but doing that also gains you either coins to buy helpers or you win the helpers themselves. I personally had a lot of fun beating the game!
Krampus has stolen Santa's voice and the Christmas detective must retrieve it and save Christmas!
I found it amusing to find a hidden object game that features Krampus...gold star for originality! The puzzles were fun and not terribly difficult and the HO scenes were interactive and also included morphing objects. The graphics weren't as cheerful as one would hope for in a Christmas game, but I still enjoyed it and think it's a good game to play for the holidays.
Some inhabitants of Wonderland have escaped and are ruining Christmas! Alice must help Santa and set everything right!
As stated in other reviews, this is a game that seems to be aimed at children. In my humble opinion, that's the way Christmas games SHOULD be. We play the dark and gloomy games all year around, this is the one time of year we can play something pretty and shiny and sweet. The graphics were stunning, the puzzles were challenging and we all got our happy ending.
In this installment of Grim Tales, Anna meets her future daughter (who shares some of her abilities) who needs her mother to save the family...again.
I will always buy and play Grim Tales, but I agree with some of the other reviewers that these games are becoming a little cookie cutter, with the same 3 or 4 actions repeating themselves over and over. I also feel that these games are getting shorter each installment. That being said, I do enjoy the puzzles and the gorgeous graphics.
This game, as stated by another player, is very much like the first. The evil witch steals Jacob...again. Still, these games are worth playing, despite the old school graphics, because the fragmented objects games (FROGS) are fun and the puzzles are plentiful and challenging. I also liked traveling through the mirrors to other worlds. Hopefully she's actually defeated this time!
It's nice to play a Halloween game that's not dark and dingy, for once!
You're home from medical school to visit your father and discover the town has been taken over by monsters and only you can save everyone! I didn't find it to be particularly scary and feel that it would be safe for older children. The colors are bright and cheerful and I don't recall anything jumping out at me. There were lots of interesting locations and a happy surprise ending!
This was my first mosaic game and I have to say, I'm sold! I did all 120 levels with no problems, but there are hints if you get stuck. There were both cheerful Halloween and lovely autumn scenes, so it's safe for younger children to play.
