Like the first two games in the MCF series, this is an old school hidden object game of collecting items in rooms with a limited amount of time and hints. I enjoyed this one more than the first two, though. The amount of time was plentiful and I was better able to find objects in this one. Since you keep repeating the same rooms over and over, you eventually learn where things are.
I really enjoyed the crazy puzzles on the locked doors. I had to get help with a couple of them online but with most I was able to figure them out. Then at the end of each chapter you get to piece together the diary of what happened to poor Emma Ravenhearst.

Your daughter has been kidnapped by the devil and you must capture 7 demons to save her. This is an older game, so it doesn't have a map, but I enjoyed it much the same. In order to satisfy the contract, you must capture 7 little demons (some are kind of cute) that represent 7 different sins and put them in a small container. For every demon you capture, you will enter a different mirror and they will leave you with a piece of the clue to get your daughter back.
This game was loads of fun for me. I'm a big fan of entering worlds through mirrors and you also get to move around in time, which I also love. The hidden objects scenes weren't too difficult and many of them were matching two similar objects. This game was nice and long but you'll have no problem getting through it with occasional help from the skip or hint button.
Try it...I think you'll like it!
I recommend this game!

A high school student has been murdered and Nancy goes undercover to find the culprit! For Nancy Drew's 80th anniversary, they decided to remaster the first game in the series and this is the result. It was one of the shorter ones, but I enjoyed it for the most part. You will do A LOT of talking to people, as any good detective would. Ned will help you a bit over the phone but if you're anything like me, you'll have to use a walk-through and possibly a YouTube video in order to complete it.

I really enjoyed the first game in this series and the sequel even more so. Our favorite royal couple, Nathaniel and Loreen, are in trouble again and they have to work apart/together in order to get out of the fix they're in. There were fun puzzles along the way, humorous dialogue and my favorite part was collecting the lions to add to the family crest. Some of them were hard to find but online walkthroughs are available. I really hope to see a 3rd installment one day with the royal baby!
I recommend this game!

This one was pretty much like the first (Huntsville). Very hard to see objects, limited time and only 4 hints spread across multiple locations. I was thrilled that I managed to make it through at least a half a dozen suspects (there are 22) but I eventually grew weary of the time constraints and squinting at the screen.
The puzzles at the end are lots of fun though, so if you have great vision and unlimited patience, maybe try it out!

Loved this game!
Some sicko has kidnapped your family and you have to unlock a door with 11 keys attached to 11 bodies of people that committed 11 sins. It's macabre but OH so much fun!!!
I really like creepy games like this (and adding a warning only makes me want to play it more). It was nice and long and has numerous locations...lots of great puzzles, too. My favorite feature was the apps on your phone that detect ghosts. I use those in real life!
Fair warning, though. The stories behind all the departed souls are pretty dark so if you're the sensitive sort, best to skip it. For those of you that love horror movies like I do, you'll love it!
I recommend this game!

The Tree of Life is dying and only a brave archaeologist can save it from a manipulative queen who destroyed her own son in the pursuit of power!
This game was nice and long and full of puzzles. A few I had to skip but most of them were fun and easy. The life-like actors in the game were a bit unsettling but thankfully there wasn't much dialogue. Throughout the game, you kept finding pieces of the story which I found to be rather interesting. I also enjoyed that the HOP's all ended with riddles. The only beef I had with the game was that there's no map jumping which is a bit annoying in a game that has so many locations. If you can't remember where to go, it's best to keep hitting the hint button until you find your way there.
I recommend this game!

I played and reviewed the standard edition of this years ago and was SO HAPPY that BFG was offering this for free. I just had to play it!
This is the story of a woman trapped in a town being controlled by an evil demon (in disguise as an annoying little girl) who must wake the town up and save everyone. There were some VERY creepy moments, mostly involving a living doll and a giant space baby, but for adults that watch horror movies it wouldn't be a problem to play.
The CE had lots of extras. You collected "swirls" from each scene and if you collected them all in the end were awarded a bonus hidden object scene that goes on and on pretty much until the entire bathroom is cleared out. If you missed any swirls along the way, you can click on the collectibles section under Extras and they'll let you go back and collect the ones you've missed. Then there were morphing objects in hidden object scenes you could collect. There was also a large array of achievements to be won and my personal favorite was the jigsaw puzzle recreating the Christmas scene that was destroyed in the game. Then there's a bonus prequel chapter starring Howard the Empowered!
I recommend this game!

I really enjoyed this game! It features all new monuments, a very slow timer and unlimited lives. It has most of the same bonus items as the older games but the new favorite feature of mine was when the timer would turn to ice and freeze for a while. Beating this one was a breeze!

This one was a definite improvement over the first simply for the fact that you didn't have to start the game all over if you lost all your lives (you'll just start at the beginning of the monument). I was able to make it to the end but unfortunately was not able to unlock the "secret" monument obtained from collecting pieces of maps. I enjoyed it very much despite the timer and limited lives, I even learned of a monument I never knew about!
NOTE: Previous reviews stated that they were unable to play this on newer systems but perhaps they've updated it since then because my laptop is 64-bit and runs on Windows 10 and I had no problems playing it.
I recommend this game!
