This is quite an old school one but still has lots of charm. We follow Ginger through her various training kitchens, experimenting with different cuisines. There are seven different restaurants altogether, including French, Pan Asian and Vegetarian. It's really a combination of a Hidden Object and time management game.
Your grandfather disappeared while searching for Inuits' legendary treasure. Travel to the Arctic to find your missing grandfather and solve the Inuit mystery.
This was an enjoyable atmospheric game with nice graphics and sound. I don't normally like it when the characters you meet in the story are very life like, i.e actors but these weren't too bad or annoying and there wasn't too much dialogue to slow the game down. There were quite a few HOS and I thought the scenes (not just the HOS) were interesting and very pretty.
Good game play with upgrades to buy and interesting fun characters. Lovely graphics and I like the instructors voice as she teaches, it's a nice little touch. I found it challenging on a couple of levels but there's nothing that can't be worked through with the right tactics and a bit of practice. A hidden gem.
A combination of really nice graphics, good game play and great puzzles combined with interesting and fun HOS, make this a game to remember. I dion't normally like puzzles and skip them when I can but I stayed to play these. They were pretty easy but they were also enjoyable and I never thought I'd say that about puzzles/mini games! There was a quirkiness to the game that I liked and made it stand out. The only downside is, and I'm nit picking here, you find a mirror shard on each level and you get to a point when you think, wow, there's at least six more shards to find, so that means six more levels, but then you find about six shards all at once, and then the game ends abruptly. The game is a decent length but it does seem to wrap up quickly and then end suddenly. Still a good game though.
I really liked this game. It is a back to back HOS with no puzzles and nothing fancy going on between, but some of the characters are hilarious, like Brady Jesse and Timothy John Johnson, with very funny dialogue and voice overs. It is an old school hidden object game, so don't expect too much from the graphics. I didn't find the objects too difficult to find. You will have infinite tries at a scene. You can restart it as many times as you want when the time runs out. Get to know where some objects are hidden through the hints, then restart, as many times as you need. Click repeatedly on the scene to restart it. Mr. Biscuits is in every scene and he can sometimes be a challenge to find. Every time you find him, you will get a new, exciting clue to who murdered Mrs Cambridge. You have three guesses at the end of the game to find her murderer. If you don't guess correctly, you have to play the game again. I played it twice and enjoyed it more the second time around.
Lovely, lush graphics, nice sound, good characters and great game play. It reminds me a little of the old school adventure games. There's a touch of Monkey Island in there. Also, I'm a big fan of the delicious games and this game is like those in graphics and style. What I really liked was the replayability of the game. I played it a second time, attempting to get all of the trophies. I didn't quite manage it. It's challenging at times if you don't use the hint button, as the puzzles/mini games are quite difficult and the objects can be hard to find. There is so much variety in the game play though, which made it exciting to play. *Spoiler Alert* - nice to see Emily at the end.
Nice enough hidden object game with lots of HOS but there was a lot of to-ing and fro-ing and I got lost and ended up in circles. I must have got lost for about five minutes one time. Poor mapping and no map to speak of to help. It won't take you to places you need to go or at least give you a pointer. By the time I learned my way around, the game was over. Some of us have a really bad sense of direction in real life and in games too! I did like the atmosphere though and the graphics and sound and game play were okay. Quite old school. I liked the story too.
I played it in timed mode at first but I found myself hopelessly stuck halfway through because I'd used up all the time skipping all the puzzles. I am hopeless at puzzles and had to start the game again. I played in relaxed mode this time, where I could skip puzzles to my hearts content without penalties. Even in relaxed mode, I found it irritating at times, the hint button takes abut three minutes to recharge and the objects were sometimes impossible to find. All in all, I liked it because it was just HOS, one after the other, with nice music, sound effects and atmosphere.
A great little game, suitable for all ages. I think this is my fav out of all of them. Can't believe how addictive it is and how troubles melt away while you play. Nice music too.

I really liked this because it played a bit like a movie. It even had opening credits, like a film. Great voice overs, very interesting characters and just an overall good vibe. It is rather old school and it does seem dated at times but it is original and unique in a sea of the same old stuff that gets churned out nowadays. I wasn't overly keen on the scene graphics but the character graphics were good and the environmental sound effects and game play was decent too. There's a good hint system also, so no danger of getting lost.
