The Legacy series is excellent. The games overflow with quality puzzles and HOPs and plenty of tasks in between. The Tree of Life seemed to get off to a boring start after the helicopter crash, but that changed into an adventure of mystery and beauty. And I was surprised by the source of danger and deceit that suddenly overtook Diana after passing through the gate. I don't really like to tell all, as it spoils the fun of discovery. But I will say this - for me, it was a smart purchase, a great game, loaded with things to keep me busy and lots of beauty to take in. I've never been disappointed by this developer, always delivers quality entertainment,
Searching for a cure for the mysterious virus takes Diana on an amazing journey, It is full of beautiful scenery and interesting characters and some new friends to help her in her quest. The graphics were very good and so full of color. However, the characters were not realistic enough for my taste and their "void" facial expressions didn't match the emotion in the voices. But the voices were quite good and very clear,
I actually bought the CE version because I was enticed by all the extra goodies. But the SE will be a ton of fun, as well, with all the wonderful puzzles and HOPs. With the various game modes offered, anyone can enjoy this game. Plus a welcome break from all the dark games with deranged characters and monsters wanting to steal your soul.
Try the demo, see what you think about travelling into unusual places for a cure to a nasty virus.
God Bless....
I recommend this game!

There were a lot of tasks and back & forth in the beginning, not difficult but took away precious time from the good stuff. I was really amazed when one of the first tasks was a zippered case and it actually had a zipper pull that worked!! While looking for clues in the house, the girl who hired Rick waited outside. She was startled by an unexpected visitor and made a mad dash into the woods. Rick uses his GPS map and sets out to investigate the spooky woods.
The demo didn't offer much action, but I did thoroughly enjoy the puzzles and the HOPs. The graphics were nice and clear and were enhanced with appropriate colors. None of the purple, pink, blue coverage or colored mists used in so many games these days. The characters voices were good except for the guy with the goofy accent. They were teenagers and looked pretty typical.
I love the paranormal games and I think this story will provide a good mystery and some surprises along the way. Rick loves his newly discovered abilities to investigate supernatural happenings and hunt for ghosts. He is off to get to the bottom of all the disappearances that seem to have started about 300 years ago. Right now he is searching for the teens who went missing very recently from the house at the edge of the woods.
I didn't really look for any of the collectibles because I don't like losing much demo time, but the morphs just kind of leaped out at me. Due to the color and type of the other two items, they are surely harder to spot since the woods are a good camo.
Will purchase during a good sale. I'm anxious to get down to the nitty gritty of this age-old mystery. How about you?
God Bless,,,,
I recommend this game!

I postponed submitting my review, thinking I may have been too sensitive or too quick to judge, So I waited to see what other reviewers had to say. The 5-star reviews don't make sense to me, but that's what individuality is all about.
There seemed to be an overflow of Halloween-appropriate items in the rooms. For my liking, just too much to take in! I almost dreaded having to look for an item. And, as others have mentioned, too many keys and locks, and back & forth,
I actually beta tested this game and could not even finish the entire trial, My reasons: 1) my inner-child fears surfaced and if that happened in a senior adult, what would it do to an actual child! 2) I believe there should be a warning on this game, at least PG-13. Kids love Halloween games but this one, IMO, is too wrong for their young eyes and minds.
Black Book contained some good games and HOPs and was full of typical Halloween visuals, very good graphics in the short time I played. The sound effects were excellent. The game just felt psychologically unhealthy to me, but it may be tons of fun and Halloween bliss for all of the gamers who enjoy this popular "holiday". So, hope this is a BOO instead of a boo-boo for you!!
God Bless....
I don't recommend this game.

I was so thrilled to see this new addition to the 1001 Earth Chronicles series, It will be added to my collection, I own and love them all immensely. The pictures are always gorgeous, always an interesting variety. My favorites are the animals and birds.
This set has seven boxes and they are categorized by subject which I really like. 1) Animals 2) Birds 3) Scenery 4) Flowers and Trees 5) Aquatic and marine life, lakes, ocean views 6) Exotic spices and fruits, colorful foods 7) Native costumes of various countries, colorful buildings, statues, very few people and they are not in silly poses as in other puzzles which I probably can't mention here. But we puzzle lovers know who they are, don't we?!!
The 4 background colors this time are just a bit different than the Chronicles previous, and I really like the soft, new colors. There is a good variety of helpful tools as always. The image of puzzle adjusts to 3 sizes and can be moved around your picture if you need that for help, right click to rotate pieces, pieces can fasten to table, difficulty level depending on how many or few pieces you choose to assemble. Box for sorting out pieces for later use, custom cursor which is just slightly larger version of the normal one. I don't believe the music has changed from the other chronicles, but it provides volume controls.
The images are all very beautiful. I love the ship in the bottle. The colors of each puzzle are nice and bright, I think the colors in Boxes 1 and 2 are especially stunning.
The end of the trial sneaked up on me. I was making slow progress on an animal puzzle. Rotating the pieces was challenging for me and turned me into a slow-poke. But that's what I really like, the harder, the better. I glow with a sense of accomplishment when it is all finished without cheating. Fun, fun, fun!!!
If you are a puzzle nut or geek like myself and another reviewer I know of (we share the same frustrations), I believe you won't be disappointed with this fine collection. For the first time in far too long, I actually have no complaints and plan on diving into hundreds of hours of geeky delight. Just how many pots of coffee is that, anyway?
I recommend this game!

My purchase of yesterday's new release solitaire turned out to be a boo-boo!! Today's new solitaire makes up for my mistake. I am not a football fan, but this game has a lot to offer and the demo was mucho fun! So will try to tell you some of the things that made it worthwhile, for me.
Graphics very sharp and colorful, runs smoothly, no delays of any kind and sound effects good, Although music nice, too mellow for football themed game and there was no actual field action. But get a 4 star perfect game and there are lots of balloons and cheering! If you lose a game you can replay or skip.
There are 3 game modes: easy, normal, hard. I played normal entire demo, it was not very challenging for most of it but did finally start to get a little harder. So 200 levels a good thing. There are 3 card faces, small selection of backs and you choose your player. One redo each game and the cutest joker! Lots of mini tutorials to explain mini games and locked cards. Collect footballs and cash along the way. Store has 24 items, use your purchase right away, all passive cards automatically added.
At end of each game a display board shows your wins and progress: cash, star bonuses, multiplier, round total cash, biggest combo, total stars. Well, that's it for me. A much better detailed review will come along today. Will say I think this is a pretty good solitaire, it wasn't boring. Fun right to the end of the demo. I will purchase in next good sale!
Hope my "good recommendation" doesn't steer you wrong!
God Bless....

This is the first solitaire game to come along in ages, that I really like. It's fun and has a storyline, but didn't get far enough to check it out. The graphics are nice and colorful, met only a few characters so far. Didn't get to meet the princess! I did not like the blue elephant in the beginning of game with all her arrows and hints, Thought she would never leave!!! Later, popped up occasionally to explain a new task.
I don't want to give it all away so I won't explain the functions of all the bonuses and bonus cards or all the tasks. There are surprisingly quite a few and very useful. I loved the booster cards. There are a total of 10 different tasks. You can earn up to 3 stars and your score goes on a leader board that already has pics of other players, don't know if it is a real "competition" or not, but it's fun. Also earn coins I know you can use to buy up to 25 extra cards, don't recall if can be used for anything else.

Another reviewer will post a very informative review to give you the big scoop and much better than I can. I think many of us solitaire lovers will be thrilled that we can play right to the end....HOORAY, NO GOLD CARDS, except I think once as one of the special tasks!
There is a relaxed mode, play with a fuller deck. And an expert mode with a smaller deck. The music is okay, it can be turned off if no likey It is East Indian which is good, but a bit distracting after a while.
Hopefully, this turned out to be a good purchase on our special Bonus Monday. I did enjoy the demo!!
God Bless....
I recommend this game!

What a sweet surprise to find Park Ranger 8! I think I may have yelled "whoopie" out loud! If you are like me, you have several if not all the previous games. If not, please give this one a try. I think this is great for the entire family.
There are new additions and attractions in the park this time and a new adventure for the kids. My demo time ran out at this point. I use too much time looking at all the sights and people, there is just so much to see everywhere. Even little things going on in the background, if you take time to look around. Very busy scenes with lots of visitors, little critters hanging out here and there, children having fun.
I absolutely love that real people, things and locations are photographed for the game. Have never understood that at least one family and a couple of rangers look created by computer, though, in each Ranger game.
Ranger 8 has the same games and recycle trash and find wildlife and we still earn our stars, also coins for shopping. Can replay any scene, any time as usual. There is a relaxed mode and a challenge mode. I like them both. Plain old fun!
This time I found the scenes much fuller with just about everything including visitors. I felt it made the HOs a little harder to locate which was great, for me. The graphics were so crystal clear, sharp, colorful and overflowing with good sightseeing stuff. A photographer's dream, perfect for the nature buff, fun for the family. Streams for fishing, wildlife all around, perfect for the artist.
That's why I never unpack! Maybe I'll see you there, lol.
God Bless....
I recommend this game!

I quit the demo with 21 min of play remaining. Became very bored and tired of looking for so many things! Just didn't get past the hospital and left Tom hiding behind the tree. He is on his own, trying to catch up to the sinister, scary looking bad guys. From what little I did finally see of the storyline really disturbed me, so I know I will love this game.
Camping in a dark forest, people disappearing, a vanishing rider on a black horse. The cult of disguised kidnappers! Oh my gosh, you just know something very wicked is about to happen once again!!! I love the anticipation of events and my being scared out of my wits with this kind of story! And camping has a huge creep factor, to me anyway!!
The scenes in the demo were all pretty dark so I found only 2 collectibles. But truly I was too engrossed with the tasks at hand to look for more. I really liked the few games and HOPs I played, The characters and voices were pretty good. I hope the scenes in actual game are not so dark,
The previous Bonfire game was great fun, so I will be purchasing this new mystery thriller when a good sale comes along. I appreciated the custom settings as always, the game ran smoothly. Looking forward to the extras I was unable to find in the demo, also I love the bonus chapters in the CEs. Length of game doesn't concern me, I'm just wanting some quality entertainment.
I recommend this game, if you like "getting the willies" as we use to say back in the day!

I don't understand why the low ratings, but I am very entertained by this latest treat. Vermillion Watch is one of my big favorites! I love it for the good mysteries to solve which involve a different horror character that many of us know from old movies or stories.
I have a crazy soft spot for werewolves. My love for animals is super-sized, I admit, even make-believe ones!
The graphics and color are always excellent, and the scenery offers lots of detail and things that grab my interest. The games and HOPs lots of fun, but the HOPs are pretty simple. Usually, interested mosly in bonus chapter and SG. I like the extras in CE games but not a must-have.
Love the storyline and the dev's interpretation of the culprits in each case. All the characters are very "colorful", adding more fun to the story and the voices are done very well. This game kept me very busy so far. Anxious for bonus chapter, but I just take my time and enjoy the adventure.
I do hope you try the demo and at least give it a chance. Would love to see more 5 star ratings.
God Bless....

Did not even bother with the demo. Just immediately purchased and jumped right into this exciting story. I know it will be excellent from start to finish. The array of collectibles and morphs is quite generous and based on my past Beyond experience, I had to go with the CE. Hooray for today's sale!
I am loving the graphics and of course the storyline. The games and HOPs are really great. The Earth characters and the invaders are rendered very well, even the cartoon-like graphics seen at times are done well. I just love everything about the Beyond series. I've waited a long time for this one to come along. Not just fun, but also so interesting.
Another reviewer has provided a very good in-depth game description. So there is no need for me to add more, except to say this is a high quality sci-fi game. If you are a sci-fi fan like myself, this will definitely not disappoint ! And for those of you who may be skeptical, just try the demo. This is good entertainment for everyone. Now, please excuse me, while I get back to the fun!
