It's a shame when developers who used to be good suddenly get lazy and throw out garbage just to make a buck. THEN sit on game sites and give "no's" to people that don't love their games. This is a mess and the fact that you blow up animals is a definite one star rating for me. The whole game is bizarre and reminds me of Frankenstein...lots of different parts all sewn together and none of them fit well. Stupid blue arrows, big pills (which I think the Dev was taking when he made this), odd characters that don't fit and have no meaning and the same, drab old gameplay with every level the same as the last. Don't waste time, money or credits on this one.
When I see new offerings that are trying to mimic Emily, I cringe and hope for the best with my expectations low. This one was actually decent! Cook and serve like Emily games. There is a lack of instruction even with hints on. I struggled with refilling the pop cans as there was no direction so, you're kind of on your own figuring things out. It's not easy (even on Easy mode) and it gets very busy with a lot of side chores. I didn't see a way to upgrade menu items and there are no trophy offerings but, it's still not bad. The CE price is unnecessary considering the graphics could be a bit sharper which is why I couldn't give it 5 stars but, other than that, give it a try. I used credits to purchase.
I was excited to see a new TM game since we've been in such a drought lately (Emily?! Where are you?) This is another cookie cutter offering with the basic TM resource rules. Objects are VERY tiny and there is no full screen mode which makes the objects even smaller! No untimed mode so get your eyeglasses on and your fingers nimble because once that level is done, it's over.
Maybe ok for some but having just replayed the Yankee games, it's hard to compare.
No difference between this and the over priced CE. No changes were made and it's still just a really dumb and not well executed cooking (not baking! Where's the baking?) game. Just cheaper. I figured they might have improved on packing the customers so tight you can't deliver items or the fact that she can only carry one item at a time but, nope. Don't waste a coupon on this!
I bought this without the trial because I knew it would be awesome and it didn't disappoint. Some of the recent releases from different Dev's could learn alot from the way this was executed and developed. Great on every level with a few new things thrown in. Challenging and much much more than a standard TM game. Well done !!!
Another sad offering from this Dev. and it takes alot of crust to try and get a CE price for this! Terrible graphics and the waiting for resources is ridiculous! Nothing changed from the first offering and that one only got a couple of stars!
If someone told me to sit down and develop the worst TM game I could think of, this would be it.
This has been out for awhile and it's not worth the price tag that's for sure. It's like Katy and Bob's but without the fun! Painfully slow moving, very ancient graphics and boring gameplay. The items you cook (not bake as the title suggests) are small and the customers are packed in tight at the tables so when their food is ready to deliver, you have to click on the correct customer numerous times until you get their order to them. Play for free for an hour and then move along. This isn't worth the money.
I guess I'll be the fly in the ointment here with reviews but I am just not feeling the love on this one. I can see the 10 year old group getting into this but for adults, no way.
Very simple, easy to get 3 stars with your eyes closed and actually rather annoying in places. The Star Trek music when supplies load on the platform is a bit grating and the relentless arrows that point at things you have to pick up (we're talking large, pulsating arrows! It's like "Yeah! Ok! I know I have to pick that up! STOP!"). Not for me..hoping for a GOOD Emily soon! Again, kids will enjoy this.
I am impressed by the level of challenge with this game as my expectations were low going in. I don't see the CE price tag but that's what Dev's are doing with new games even if they don't deserve it. Anyway...off my soapbox...this is loaded with strategy and thinking. The higher up you go, the harder it gets. There are NO grunts and UH-Huh's anywhere to be found (thankfully) from the workers except for an occasional Hey which is actually kind of cute. 3 stars are hard! Give it a try and use a coupon for the CE price.
Talk about eye strain! While the graphics and artwork are pretty, the objects are SO small, even with my glasses on I had a hard time finding things! Alot of the objects are the same color as the background so that made it worse. It's a pretty game but, not worth the headaches to play.
