... but bought this one because it looked different from the rest. I'll admit it, I was so very disappointed - - - - - - when this game was over.
After seeing 2 I bought 1 and played it first. I really enjoyed it - until it locked up at level 17. Couldn't find any way to make it work. Boooooooo. As a result I was concerned I'd have the same problem with 2. Nope. It worked perfectly.
This is a GREAT game! Fun, challenging, makes you think and plan, keep track of the number of workers, and sometimes have to start the level over - and that's playing in relaxed mode. But I surely did get irked at all those lazy Woodcutters who didn't appreciate the fine places my workers built for them to live. Ingrates!
In my opinion this is a perfect game. Well, it could be longer .....say 40 - 100 chapters. Just kidding developers ......... maybe. But, other than that, it's perfect. I'm so glad I dipped my toe into a couple of TM games that are head, shoulders, hips, legs, and toes above the rest.
Thank you Whiterra! I'm looking forward to your next offering. I hope it comes soon.
I beta tested this game and found it lousy. The entire game is faaaaaaar too dark. I can't even see objects that should be obvious. The incessant thunder is beyond irritating. The storyline is lame. I found nothing to like about this game.
Guess I'll have to do more waiting to find the next HOP game that I want to buy.
As was said before, these games are better with each release. This game was outstanding! I look forward to each new release. Quadrium is one of the very few games I'd play over and over.
Big thank you to the developers. Don't wait so long till the next release.

Yet another game that is too dark for me to see on my monitor without putting the room in blackout mode. Guess that's okay in this situation because the color palette is so off-putting I wouldn't buy the game anyway. The story line is not the least bit creative. In my opinion there is nothing much to like about this game.

This was, in my opinion, a stupid game. Stupid premise poorly executed. My advice, after playing all of the beta version I could stand, was to throw it out and start all over again. Looks like no one took my advice.
... is a prime decision maker in passing on purchasing this game. Additionally, the movement of the items every 10 seconds is just plain irritating. It wouldn't be objectionable if, like other games of this type, it occurred in an occasional round. But, from the short time I played, it appeared that the movement was set to occur in every round. Then there are all the stars and other things cluttering up the view. Time must be wasted getting rid of all that detritus. I could go on and on but I'll just move on to another game, thank you.
This game may not suit many but, to my thinking, it beats the too dark, literally and figuratively, dreck that has been offered the past few weeks.
In part because of my dark monitor, I'm always in favor of light and bright colors, regardless of subject, over dark.
Yes, the accents are abysmal (the aforementioned "Lion" for Lyon is a great example) but this isn't a Shakesperean play, it's a little game.
I dislike paranormal games but I'll buy this one because it's the first HOP game in several weeks that I've found the least bit appealing and viewable.
I prefer the other Clutter games but this one is acceptable. EXCEPT for the fact that timed levels are not an option. If you fail to finish in the given amount of time you have to start over. Nope, not going to start over and not going to buy this game for that one reason. Had there been an option to turn off the timer I would have purchased it.
Butterfly? Really? Where? Oh, down there in the dark. Yes, I know my monitor is dark but goodness sakes, objects should be cleverly hidden not so dark you can't find them even with the hint. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
