I bought it because, as others stated, it's a straightforward murder mystery. No monsters, no royalty in distress, no paranormal tripe, no colored smoke, no evil elves, no ghosts, no spells.
I don't mind the rather dated looking figures, the less than stellar artwork, or the camera and other props. These are offset by the lack of other factors, mentioned above.

...quite literally I guess.
Considering so many negative reviews, I have to contribute my 2 cents. I thoroughly enjoyed this game! It was different, entertaining, humorous, and challenging. I highly recommend it for a delightful change from the norm.
Just had to point that out. Golly, with all the available whatever language to English translations out there wouldn't you think the developers could get that right?
I bought the game. It's okay. Graphics are clear, bright, and colorful.
I don't care about storyline - it's match 3 for goodness sakes. How much can the storyline matter?
I don't listen to any game's music so don't care about that.
I prefer the match 3s that have a bigger board but this one works for when I need to take a break from work.

Nope!!! I do not play limited move match 3 games. In my opinion there is no excuse for producing them. Add to that no instructions and board being reset, because no more moves are available, after only 2 moves and this game a pass for me. I lasted 3 minutes on the demo.

I'm so far past done with monsters, robots, evil spirits, colored smoke, royalty in distress, evil misguided siblings and all the overused other tripe. I'm buying very few HOPs these days and the above is the reason.
This game may not be perfect but it also contains none of the above. That makes it 2 thumbs up and a definite purchase.
Some complained about the lack of reality in some tasks. Uh, what is more unreal than evil monsters that morph into royalty in distress and vice versa, etc?????

As others have said - very different type of match 3. I almost didn't buy it because of initial bad review. Glad I decided to try it. Quite challenging and an enjoyable change.
Best news - no demons, no colored smoke, no royalty in distress, no evil spells, no monsters, no amulets, etc. These factors alone makes this a great game for me.
I'm not crazy about the artwork, which is a little on the simplistic side. Ordinarily artistic style and coloration are a big part of my decision to buy. In this case it was decisively offset by the fact that this is a straightforward murder mystery with none of the aforementioned factors.
Thank you for this refreshingly different game!!!!!
