The artwork and voice-overs are better than the first Murder She wrote. Although the sheriff's accent could be worked on, the Jessica Fletcher in this version is very convincing. I've only completed the first murder so far, but all the red herrings that were in the TV series are present. I did have a little difficulty with some of the puzzles, but the HOS scenes with the missing typewriter keys gives an added element.

Story line was okay, but I was expecting a little more mystery. There were no HOS so I would relate this as more of an adventure. I had to rely on the strategy guide as a crutch, a map would have made navigation much easier. I did like the cats, though.

Storyline extremely well thought out, and held together like glue throughout the game! There was not one moment where the storyline felt "loose at the seams". It held my attention, and I couldn't wait to get back into it when I had to stop. The map and the hint button led me around quite well so I didn't get lost. Only used the guide once.

Not bad overall, but could have used a little bit of explanation on the mini-games. Some were a little confusing as to what was intended and/or how to proceed. Found myself cheating by going into the stragedy guide.

The best part of this game was the interaction with the homeless man. A quintessential grandpa with the quintessential voice. All he was missing the the hissing as he talked through his false teeth!! This was a great game as far as I was concerned. The graphics were fantastic, even though they were hedged. I like the "reality" HOS much more than the computer generated ones.
Once upon a time in the small, undistinguished town of Silentville people started disappearing. Help uncover the mystery behind these disappearances and save the town from a curse!
I was rather frustrated with this game. I never could get the bolts of cloth into the cubbies. I found myself constantly going back into the walkthrough. This is one of only two games (out of the four years and a couple of hundred games) that I gave up on. The graphics and sound quality were fantastic, and the level of detail was amazing, though.
