In this game you are trying to help Mark Twain. He appears as a ghost and asks you to help him with establishing the true author of Shakespeare's plays. He then needs help getting rid of an evil spirit that is still haunting him. He gives you lots of hints all the way through the game. You can talk to people in the various scenes for more clues. While you're finding hidden objects you're also collecting tools to use in solving the crime. The investigation takes you to many different locations. There are also mini-games to solve in between HO scenes. I thought this was a very interesting game. The only thing I had a little problem with was that some of the objects were tiny or hidden in a big jumble of other things and were very hard to see. But there is a very good hint system. In each hidden object scene you can find a raven, which means one more hint that can be used. These hints add up so you can have quite a few to help you in tough spots. There are also hidden 4-leaf clovers. If you find 70 of them this opens up the unlimited portion of the game. I definitely recommend this enjoyable game!
I recommend this game!

I liked playing this game. It tells the story of two young lovers who were lost to each other. A very sweet story. When Sandra returns to the beach house years later, she find many memories and also finds clues that lead her to solve the mystery of what happened. By finding hidden objects just lying around, or in actual hidden object scenes, you get important items that you need to get to the next step in the game. It's all laid out pretty logically, although there is quite a bit of going back and forth to find things you need. There is a good hint system in case you can't figure out what to do next. I had to use this a few times during the game. It was very satisfying to complete all the steps and find the solution to the mystery.
I recommend this game!

This game is similar to others in the Midnight Mysteries series. In this game you are trying to help Nathaniel Hawthorne, you meet Franklin Pierce, and you right a wrong that happened during the Salem witch trials. Hidden objects are all over the place, either just lying there in a location waiting to be found, or in many hidden object scenes. Sometimes you need objects in order to continue, and you might have to backtrack a little in order to find these objects. The raven, as usual, offers hints if you need them, taking time to recharge after each use. Besides the listed hidden objects, you also need to look for hidden ravens in order to get more hints. Each scene usually has one or more clovers, also, and if you find 50 of them this opens the Unlimited part of the game. The only drawback to the game is that some of the hidden object scenes are a jumbled mess or else very dark. Other than that I enjoyed this game very much!
I recommend this game!

This was a very sentimental game, telling the story of two lovers that were reunited after years of being apart. It's not very complicated, mostly hidden objects and mini-games. Sometimes the objects are very difficult to locate, but there is a quick-recharging hint system to help if needed. If you like a little romance, like finding hidden objects, and like proceeding through the game step by step in order to solve a mystery, then this game is for you. I really enjoyed it!

I enjoyed playing this game! It's very similar to Part 1, with many hidden objects, and trying to find the 3 stamps and black cat in each scene as well. The story is a continuation of Part One, and you find out what happened to her husband, Patrick. After you finish the game, if you've found enough stamps while playing, you have access to the Unlimited Mode. The only difficulty in this game is that some of the scenes are such a jumble of items that it's very difficult to see tiny items. Otherwise, it's a winner!
I recommend this game!

I was enjoying playing the game, having reached a point where I was going to find out what finally happened to Houdini. Then there was some kind of glitch - I was supposed to click on a book on the bookshelf, but nothing happened. I backed out of the room and then couldn't get back in. I went downstairs and out of the house and then couldn't get back in. The message said something like: There is nothing more to be done here, or something similar. When I clicked on "Hint", it wanted me to try to get that book, but I couldn't even get in the house. So the game is over, and not because I completed it in the normal way. I'll delete the game and reinstall it, but that means playing at least a couple of hours all over again. Not happy!
I don't recommend this game.

I enjoyed playing this game. It's mostly hidden objects, with a few mini games thrown in here and there. In most of the scenes you can also look for 3 stamps. If you find enough of them the unlimited version of the game is open for playing. If you find all of the stamps, you get an award. You also get awards for various other reasons throughout the game. The story line is interesting, with Audrey looking for her missing husband. She is helped by the ghost of a mailman who leaves letters all over for her to find. One downside to the game is that many of the objects are very difficult to find. Some of the scenes are very cluttered or dark. The help button recharges quickly though so you can use it to locate objects. The biggest downside to the game is that the story does not end. If you want to find out what happens you need to purchase the next game, part 2. I don't think this is fair and gave the game a lower rating for that reason. I do recommend the game as long as you can deal with a couple of the downsides.
I recommend this game!

In this game, last in the series, Princess Sophia has been on a journey to find her people. She ascends to the Skyward Castle and is helped by various characters she encounters along the way. Each character gives her a problem to solve, and when she does she receives an important item. She also has the help of an owl (hints) and a dragon (fire). In playing the game you encounter puzzle after puzzle, all of which must be solved. There are different levels of play, however, and in the easier level there is a quickly loading "skip" button which you may use if you are stumped. There are a few hidden object scenes, but many more puzzles. This is a beautiful game, logically laid out, and not too difficult.
I recommend this game!

This is a wonderful game. It's a hidden object game, but you also get to buy items to decorate your garden. The butler, Austin, goes to visit his parents. Your job is to help him decorate their garden. Austin has a funny personality. You can interact with him and he'll talk back to you. With the money you earn from LOTS of jumble sales, you can buy things like new fencing, a pool table, and plants. There are 3 choices for each item you can buy, ranging from less to more expensive, so you can choose to buy the one that you think will look best in the garden. If you change your mind later, you can change to a different item. After the main game is over you can play a bonus game where you continue to find hidden objects and buy different clothing for everyone with the money. It's really a great game, bright & cheery, and is fun for beginners or for those who want light entertainment.
I recommend this game!
