I do not like this incarnation of Richard at all. He's nice and boring. Blond with a sweet voice. Ick. that's not our Richard. i know the person isn't do the voice anymore but there's more than one person on the planet that has that type of voice.
Voice overs were good other than hating the new Richard.
Dorian was fun though and nice to see in the game.
I thought it was really short as I'm already done. I'm not done with the bonus because I wasn't really interested. It is about the antagonist of the story. Wish I had known that before I bought the game. I would have waited for the SE.
No glitches (that were the developers fault anyway)
LOTS of puzzles. I don't mind puzzles but not on top of each other. 3 then 2 then another 2..and so on. Hidden objects were fun. Very interesting and I thought some of the items were creative. Nothing you'd do in real life but still very creative.
Story about a guy with an axe to grind. Not exactly new. Richard needs to save Anna...Dorian in tow. Most of the game is saving Dorian though.
No cliches which was nice. No broken zippers..no cutting glass with a random diamond ring. lol.
They set the game up to have a sequel I think with promises to free the giant rat.
It was a decent game. My only issues where it was kind of short and I really don't like this other blonde young sweet Richard....I'll pass but still it was decent so 4 stars...
I recommend it if you can get over the Richard thing. I can't. Seriously they speak maybe ten lines in the whole game, and they couldn't find anyone??? really had to change him this much? Please find another voice actor. Still a good game.

I don't think I've given anything five stars before except Lost Lands. ALL the characters are in this. Putting James back was the smartest move the creators could have done. I thought it was a great storyline. Looks like a continuation which is fantastic.

I figured it was going to be about Anna because she didn't do much during the main game. THRILLED Richard is there but....that's not Richard. They gave him the voice of British 20 something yuppie. We need THE Richard or a bit closer this guy who sounds like Prince William. Nothing scary or dark about him. People like the sarcastic evil with a big heart Richard. His dead voice shouldn't have changed at all since it's the same guy and his personality is YAWN. Please fix that. other than that. I really enjoyed this game very much.
Small issue. I had just played the beta two days ago for fun. No idea this was coming out today. I couldn't get from room to room without using a hint. Arrow wouldn't stop on down. It's fine in the beta so it's the game.
Collectables were zero challenge. If you had morphing things well hidden (and real Richard) it would have been THE perfect game. Maybe a tad longer....
I hope the next one is the same cast and a continuation. Is there a traitor? Maybe its shade. Oh, that'd be fun!!! I don't know the story of the bonus yet. I'm only five minutes in.
Kudos to the creators for giving their players what they asked for.
I HIGHLY recommend this game. And honestly I never recommend CE versions of anything.This time I do but seriously...please make them a challenge.

WAY too many puzzles

Good Game. But at one point there were four puzzles in a row in order to move forward..No. Don't do that. I lost interest after two. Because I had just done three in the past ten minutes. Not enough hidden object. Too many puzzles. Story was kind of BLAH but still fun. I always like these games. Game did just stop working a few times but it started up again after I logged in and out. that's an issue but it's not the games fault. it's the game manager. I don't recommend a CE price though. No challenge to finding anything hidden. Still fun though and not too short like most games these days.

A lot of money to spend for less than an hour and half....Not much of a challenge at all. I remember when this series was FUN!! The bonus was so boring I stopped playing. It had hidden object of animals in a mural on a wall that was not hidden at all. No even a little bit. A five year old could have done it. Short and boring. I'm so sorry. I wanted to love it. I dont recommend paying full price for this game. WAY too short and the story was pretty dull.
I don't recommend this game.

I don't like or dislike it. kind of take it or leave it. maybe buy it when I'm really bored some weekend.
David Blackthorn is so BORING and the grieving mom gushing over him was a bit much. Really grasping to get us to like him. I don't think that many people do.
The creators aren't listening. They got rid of James..brought in the super boring cousin who does absolutely nothing....
Got rid of Richard Gray. Dark, gloomy and sarcastic Richard and brought back like and airy blonde/gray just waiting for him to pick up a guitar Richard...ick
Rick Rogers....boring and sullen. So, what happened? All your good sarcastic fun characters are gone. And when you bring them back, they are former shells. Stop fixing what was not broken. Get better writers or the old ones.

This game....visuals are okay. Ghost is hilarious. VO's are good but found the game design kind of lazy. Collectible price not worth it. I will probably buy the SE.

I completed this game in under two hours. Took me forever to reopen it because it was a blank screen so I have yet to do the bonus round. I was very much looking forward to this game. I'm so disappointed. I knew there was going to be an issue when there was a broken rusted zipper in the first five seconds. Lots of cliches. Lots of things that made no sense. using rope to clean off something....weird things.
It's about the stepbrother Thomas. It had potential. It was so darned short.....I didn't skip much at all. The HOPS were good. (when they made sense) Richard not in it. Not really. As I said I didn't do the bonus, so I don't know.
I DO NOT recommend spending that much money on such a short game that wasn't really that great.

I found it kind of boring. Same old stories.... predictable. cliches bother me, and it's not worth a CE price. But honestly, I didn't enjoy the story that much. Or the hops. I agree with the people saying it's great for beginners, so I'd recommend it as a SE NOT as a CE.

Remastered? You mean it was worse? Aggravating, childish and SLOW. I did not enjoy this game at all. Probably the least favorite game I have EVER played. Honestly. I gave it three tries. awful. So sorry I used my points.

Story was interesting. TOO many puzzles. It gets aggravating when you can't move on because of too many. HOPS were okay but even those. Silhouettes...coin is same size as blow up pool ring....deceptive..just an example. Lots of that. it's not clever...it's annoying. I'm not done yet but took a break because it's aggravating when they purposely do things that don't make any sense.]
Normally I love this series and as I said I do like the story. Graphics are amazing too. Just hate false and deceptive clues.
Oh so not worth CE price. Poor collectables. But when it comes out as an SE....absolutely. Just be aware clues aren't remotely obvious.

Story was okay but question where mom is unanswered. Was a little twist that was good. Graphics were good. Bonus was a continuation, which I love.
What I don't love is the illogical. Can't use tape for fixing a lawnmower. You have to STAPLE gun a full-size wooden cane to a metal shaft. NO ..in real life. That wouldn't work but that's the kind of ridiculous thing they want. Not a nail gun which also wouldn't work but a small staple gun,So it's aggravating when you do the logical thing and they say not my best idea or something silly like that. So so very much of that. Too much. That was one example. Clues that should not be clues. Can't pick up things until they are good and ready for you to pick it up. Actually, a lot of games do this to be fair.
