I'm sorry but it was super boring. I gave it a fair shake. HOPs I do love but not when they go on forever. That was the first issue. Story not interesting at all. I remember the beta and I remember liking it so I'm kind of surprised.
Also, this is not CE worthy. I don't understand their justification for charging so much for a game that just doesn't cut it. There should be a mid-level. I did not buy it. I'm passing. I didn't hate it, but it did not hold my attention for very long.

As I said they did the work and made this one much better but still lacking. Story isn't bad at all. Some of the games are super easy and some aren't worth my time because they are tedious. Roll my eyes ..hit the skip...tedious....Clues made No sense. But it was still fun.
BUT this is NOT a CE price worthy game. They were laughable at best. Easy to find and just not worth it. I couldn't download it until I paid for it. Wouldn't let me do the trial. Not taking a star off for a tech issue. Wait for the SE.
I recommend it but only as a SE.

I got it downloaded no issues. But it's little buggy. Not a fan of having to find things through a magnifier. Also, I'm spoiled at this point. I don't like having to read through games. No voice overs so be aware of that. I found it pretty dull pretty quickly honestly. I didn't make it through the trial. Not for me.
I gave it three stars because I had no issues downloading and it's a personal preference that I like games that have voice overs. And I didn't get far enough for judge the story. Got bored super fast.

Great graphics and voice overs. Good story...kind of. VERY short game and don't think it's worth CE price. Nice to see Richard was returned to the game. But taking out James was a massive mistake. Retiring a well-liked character before the actually picked up steam (three games??) wasn't a brilliant idea. James was the humor. Ewan doesn't fit. but that's just my opinion. On the new haunted hotel they have his cousin....I'm wondering if the developers actually listen to their customers. Please stop changing what's not broken.

Rick has zero sense of humor. Damon is the only other person in the entire thing, and he sounds like Joe Pesci. It's like they rushed to get just anything out after Rick's return. I'd rather wait for a good game then this thoughtless mess. This was actually upsettingly bad for a series that was once my very favorite. And why is Rachel in the photo here when she's not in the game? DO BETTER. Don't buy it. Don't. I can't scream it loud enough.
I don't recommend this game.

Good game. Easy going, fun. Love going back and forth between characters but good lord LAY OFF THE PURPLE!!! It's obnoxious and distracting. Would have done five stars otherwise

WAY WAY too much back and forth to a point I stopped playing. I know it's to kill time and make the game longer. It's aggravating. Also, developers aren't listening. We are not in kindergarten. We don't need stars for obvious good choices. People have been complaining about those stars for ages and they don't listen.
The story is lame. Looking for an adventurer looking for Bigfoot who you find in ten minutes. Bigfoot is about as scary as a bunny. The Big foot in a bikini...is just ridiculous. I'm still trying to figure out the goal in this game as it's changed three times. Is the sheriff friend or foe?? Simple conversation they could find out but let's do a ton of useless puzzles and go through all of rooms for one piece of a tool first. I hate ragging on games but honestly, I don't feel there was much effort put into it at all. I'm done with DO games for now. They pump out the games with ENDLESS puzzles and zero story development. This was one of the worst I've ever played. The graphics are great. Loved them. VO's are great! And no bugs. So that's wonderful. But that's it. I'm not buying another DO game until they stop with the silly stars and have an actual good story.
I do NOT recommend as a CE game either. Get it on sale as a SE. It's a good game if you like endless puzzles for no reason.

Seriously i don't buy these games so i can read along. I made the mistake of buying this before finishing the demo. It's a good game but it feels like the developers were too lazy to add voice overs to the game. So I suggest people pass until it's on sale. Why pay full price if they are not going to put in a full effort for the customers.
Rest of it is great. colors and games. Fine. Fun too but no interaction with people ruins it for me.
I don't recommend this game.

Like someone else said. Automatic buy for me but I'm kind of sorry I did. This is probably the very worst one I've ever played. I love this series and was so happy to have the main character back. But he's not witty at all. boring.
It's just him and Damon. Who for some reason sounds like an annoying Joe Pesci. They go to a club and evil demon making the bank successful. That's all for the plot from me. But that's all there is. No effort here.
Game is super purple. No thought put into the graphics. Collectables are those eyes where are impossible to see in some of the scenes. And those little dolls. Was not worth a CE price.
I'm in four rooms going back and forth collecting stuff little by little. It's ridiculous. But I stopped because one game was so stupid with little kitten faces...made for a preschooler. I couldn't deal with it anymore. It was almost insulting.
I think I was more sad that Rick said nothing during the game and Damon with that silly fake accent did all the talking. Not very witty. Just kept getting caught in scooby traps.

I agree with the others. I hate those stars. I'm a grown up. Not a child who wants a little star on her forehead for making a good decision.
Some of the clues were off like "make that goal" so I'm looking for a hockey stick or soccer ball...silly me ..it was a basketball hoop. Just little things like that. I got stuck at one point and couldn't use the hint because it didn't help. Just circled the object. I'm not psychic. When I figured it out it truly wasn't the right hint.
Game is fairly easy. But little things like that are annoying.
I like the story and graphics are nice. Little scarecrows are cute. But Ill be honest. I refuse to ever buy a game with these stupid stars again. Never. Ever. Seriously. The developers need to listen to their customers.
