I agree with the other reviewer this is a poor excuse for a collector's edition. There's nothing to collect really. Newspapers and that was few and far between. I love finding collectables. It's the reason I get the CE. I dont care about screen savers etc and I didnt see any. But I wasn't looking. I don't see a bonus either. I did look. You can't get rid of the tutorial. Usually I start with it to show me what I'm collecting. Then get rid of it. Not an option and my lord it's annoying. I know this is a different developer than what I am used to but so much back and forth for silly reasons. The only fun I had was playing whacka mole. Graphics and voice overs were great. I dont think she needed to speak with every move. so I had to shut off the volume but some people like that. Only reason I gave it three stars was the graphics, but I do NOT recommend this as a collector's edition. Don't pay full price for this game. Wait for the SE if there is one.
Cute game. Great graphics. Great characters but the puzzles omg and the HOPS. Find the symbols or characters. Tons of those and that just a lack of imagination on the creators part and gets annoying after the fourth set. I shut it off. I've had enough. You like endless looking for constellations, squiggly random lines that mean nothing and math symbols etc...great. It's for you. Once or twice. i can deal with. This is number four and only on part two of the game. Not many actual real puzzles. No thank you.
I did not read the reviews this time before the demo. It was on sale so I bought it with points. It's not horrible by any means. But it's incredibly easy and boring. I'm not an expert but not a novice either and I breezed right through this thing. Not many puzzles. But the ones they did have were kind of fun and again....easy. Didn't need hints or instructions for most of them. Lots of HOPS. A little too many actually. I like a breather in between. I like searching for collectables. I dont care about screen savers etc. I like the search. Too darned easy. in your face easy. Visuals and graphics are beautiful. No glitches. Way too much purple but whatever. There was no challenge. I'm not done yet. I found the fourth sister and that was wicked easy as well. Evil man stops time but uses a pay phone...oh okay.... Why is the owl even there? To reach stuff? He has zero purpose. Give him more to do. It's not a bad game. Not at all but don't pay top dollar. Wait for a sale. CE wasn't worth it. If you are looking for an easy peasy breezy game this is it!! There is no climax to this story. Seriously. So do I recommend it? SE version on sale yes. CE full price absolutely not. But its a great game for beginners. So I'll say yes.
You're a mom who chases her kids through a boardgame. Kind of looks like Jumanji but in their world not ours. So cute. I'm not into these types of games but it was fun. The collectables were pretty good. You go to three different places to save each kid. As a mom I loved it. The only thing that bothered me was the owl. What a useless addition she is. Just would have been so much better without it. Its a fun game. I do recommend it.
I don't think it would win any awards but it's cute. I've only done the demo. Not sure if I'm going to buy. There's another demo I'm playing this morning so I'll pick one after. Puzzles aren't great and yeah some of the items don't look as they are described. I bloom in different colors...was a clue....you'd think flowers. nope..Christmas lights. That's an example. There were plenty. Other than that and the seriously whiny voice of one of the characters it's corny but it's cute and something to do. I do find one thing Siren's thing you collect almost impossible. They are so light you can't see them. I do recommend if you have nothing better. That's the best I can do.
Oh wow. Talk about pulling your hair out slow and boring. After the demo the game slowed right down. Showing me places I'd need to go....later...and do stuff...later...much later. This was truly a disappointment for me because I really liked the first two and the "mystery stalker" was obvious. The game is fairly long because you're running around for no reason. A lot of the HOPS looked nothing like their photos so that's annoying. Games were not enjoyable. I really disliked this game. I liked the other two and was looking forward to it. I dont know how it got excellent reviews but I wanted to love this game. I didn't by it so I could rag on it. Not fun or relaxing that's for sure.
Insidious dreams was GREAT. Made me jumpy and all that goo d stuff that goes with playing a well made creepy game. From the getgo...why didn't she just call the police. she knew who what and where and even knew why. Lunatic kid with an annoying voice who's not actually that bright. He's not supernatural. Just nuts. The whole time I was just thinking if that was my kid in trouble I would have called 911 and did what the ghost friends were telling me. When the main character doesn't do the obvious its like the blonde big chested girl in the horror movies doing the dumb thing.....and it's not interesting. so Ill pass after the demo. And I don't recommend.
Pretty darned scary!! I thought it was great. Very creepy. I have yet to do the bonus round but gave me the heebie geebies. Great game if you like horror movies. Nothing gory just yikes. Escaping a psycho killer with puzzles and hops. It was enjoyable. Only two things drove me nuts. That creature killed the whole realness of it. Like wow this could happen to someone...until the ridiculous creature from beyond stopped by. And some of the items could easily be used for tasks they weren't allowed to. Also she could have escaped a few times. When you get your phone. Dial 911...dont listen to your messages and check your email. Then use it for a flashlight. geez. Otherwise it was excellent. Hard though..a little too hard.
Started off okay. Had zero to do with a movie. It was silly and redundant. Made no sense. I played the WHOLE thing. So believe me I gave it every chance. I don't even know who I was playing as in the bonus round. You start off as an actor i think and i think a man (not sure) then poof you are a small blonde lady in the old west for the entire game. ghost reappears in the last ten seconds. Pretty sure the old west didn't have a manhole covers. Or sewer grates. A whole lot of items that should not have been in that game. The game made no sense. I don't know what the point was. And Im sorry but the puzzles were not great. Some were so freaking easy a six-year-old could have done them and others were super confusing with poor directions. I do know that was four hours of my life I want back. I know this is harsh but if this wasn't basically free for me, I'd be furious. Positive things? Voice overs and characters were pretty good except no idea who I was in the bonus (I thought I was Kelley until I met Kelley) as I said or WHY I was Shirley in the first. No glitches. So they must have fixed them. I played on because i wanted to see if I could find all the collectables and I did. I'll give it that. I never do and they didn't go all sneaky on me. I liked that. But I don't recommend this game.
