I was really looking forward to playing this game. It has elements of other games I enjoy, and it looked like it combined them in a new and challenging way.
So I was frustrated when I had the hardest time moving the arrow from one square to the other. Finally, after trying the tutorial over and over, the game would crash. This happened 3 days in a row. No sense in trying it any longer.
I don't recommend this game.

I have to admit I initially thought these games were too simple. And they are simple. The first pictures had large squares and I finished them too quickly. I love the mosaic games, where you fill in the squares in a grid based on the numbers on the side and at the top of the grid. This game is based on squares, so I was prepared for a new challenge.
Each scene is a picture of pixels. Every pixel has a color assigned to it, and the goal is to create the colored scene. It's like the popular adult coloring books, with the game creators choosing the colors. You can use the mouse to enlarge the picture, which is really a benefit on the larger pictures with many colors in the same small space. I also figured out that I can move to other parts of an enlarged scene by pressing down on the right and left click buttons at the same time. What a relief! My eyes were getting tired.
The pictures with large squares are easy but wait until you try to fill in the squares with the assigned color in a complex scene! It is very soothing.
I read that penmom wants all the PIXEL ART games released quickly. Please,no! I'll never get any sleep. When I am working on these scenes, it seems like time just floats by. I look up and it's 3 AM. If all the games were released, I couldn't keep myself away from them.
I recommend this game!

I love these games!! I have every one in this series. I get so excited when I see another one has been released.
If you have played any of the other games in the Fantasy Mosaic series, this one will not disappoint. If you haven't tried them, you might as well start with this one.
I recommend this game!

I have played the previous Pixel Art games, and this doesn't disappoint. The easy puzzles at the beginning are misleading. It almost seems like a children's coloring game. Once you play one of the complex pictures, you may be hooked on this game!
The thing that made this type of game frustrating for me was resolved with this one. It was so hard to see the numbers of the outer squares because as I zoomed in to make the squares larger and therefore the color number more readable, I was pushing the outer squares out of the work area. So it was either have all the squares there with tiny little numbers that I could hardly see even with a magnifying glass or only work on the middle squares. I learned to press BOTH left and right buttons on my mouse, and then I could move around the whole puzzle in a size that allowed me to read all the color numbers. I am now very happy because that was an issue for me in version I and II.
I recommend this game!

I love these types of games, and usually enjoy the different ones available through Big Fish. This is the one griddler game that I would not even use a free game to buy.
A major problem for me is no identification of the picture. I like to know what it is at the end. Another issue is I get a multi color picture while only finding the tiles of one color. I don't mind one color puzzles, but it is very disconcerting to have the finished picture be multi-colored.
The inability to click on the wrong tile was refreshing. The inability to choose multiple tiles at once consistently was bothersome. Sometimes it worked going from top to bottom and sometimes from bottom to top.
Based on the level of games out there, this one is lacking.
I don't recommend this game.

I was able to finish 30% of the game in the demo. And I didn't try to go very quickly. It is a very rudimentary Hidden Object game. It is strictly Hidden Object. In the hour demo, I did not encounter one other type of scene. I bet this game was developed as a school project.
The 3 girls that are traveling with you in Hawaii are better off left at home. They are in the game to direct you to various scenes. Funny thing is though the scenes are repeated, so it doesn't make sense to have the girls travel around.
The Hidden Object scenes either have shadows (which are very poorly defined) or words to define the objects to find. They are mostly very easy; I used the hint a few times in the shadow scenes because the shadow was so generic it could have been a number of things and I was just not interested enough to look very hard. There are point penalties for too many wrong clicks (I think more than 3), so in the shadow scenes, you might as well use a hint. Some of the items could have 5 or 6 similar shapes, and you'll get penalized for trying to determine which one it is.
Even the music became irritating after a while.
It's worth the free trial to see if you want to buy it, but I would waste my money when there are so many other better Hidden Object games.
I don't recommend this game.

I started out with Hidden Object games as my first love on Big Fish, and I've been getting games on Big Fish since 2005. Long time! I have learned that other games can be just as much fun, and some of the later HO games tend to be more flipping back and forth between scenes than actually looking for hidden objects. When the game developers added mini-games, like the MCF series, I loved playing even more.
This game is more like the older Hidden Object games, with less jumping around the map and more actual hidden objects to find. I appreciate that! That being said, it's got some other things that are not so likable. Like poor graphics. And timers. And weird objects and locations of these objects.
I don't need a strong story line. Having great geographical scenes in a game that is named Travel to Italy are fine. The geographical scenes are not great, though. I'm sure each of these locations in Italy look much better in other photographs that could have been adapted for game use.
I can't comment on the music because I like to play these games without music. Most of the time the music is just background noise that I don't need to enjoy the game.
All in all, I was tempted to buy it because I enjoy the simpler style of Hidden Object game and I had a coupon. But I believe other game developers will understand the niche the simpler Hidden Object games hold, and they will deliver a better product. Then I will buy.
I don't recommend this game.

I didn't play the first Kingdom Chronicles, so I can't say how this game compares to that one. I can only say that I LOVED this one! The hour for the demo went way too fast! I hit the 'buy' button right away!
Though it is listed as an adventure game, it is a time management one so far. I'm writing this after I finished the demo, and will start the next levels after writing this review.
I like everything about this time management game: the story line, the characters, the goals and quests, even the Orcs!
Great graphics and the music is fine (low-key in the background but at a tempo that matches the speed you need to complete the level with at least 2 stars).
If you like time management games, you'll enjoy this one.
I recommend this game!

I love this game!! I have liked Eipix games from when the MCF games came out. I spent many hours with the Madame and at Ravenhearst. The graphics are always great.
Personally I have become tired of the dark and horror stories so I tend to look for games that are not in the same trend. In this game, there's a scary guy running around, but no werewolves or vampires or witches or devils. Yet. At the time I'm writing this review, I have only played the demo version. So I'm not sure what will come up next. I'll let you know when I finish!
I like that the scenes are appropriately lit for an old abandoned house, and that all the scenes are not in the dark. The Hidden Object scenes are frequent enough for a HO game lover like me, with the objects disguised but not needing a magnifier to find them.
I love the idea that the couple bought an old house to flip, sight unseen. The story flows better than most, with the switching back and forth between scenes as a logical sequence rather than just a game move.
I usually skip the scenes of the characters talking but I didn't with this game! They really added to the enjoyment of the game.
I also really like the mini games. They are clever enough to hold my interest but not so hard that I want to skip. There's also a moth in each scene to find and collect, plus a cassette tape which doesn't show up as often as the moth. As I get caught up in the game, I sometimes forget if I found the tape or moth in that scene. It seems that the lower right corner tracks the number of moths/tapes found, and if I'm not mistaken, the moth is lit up if I already found it in that scene.
Good Job, Eipix! I hope this means you're creating another game line!
I recommend this game!

This game is very similar to the Joe's Clutter games. To me, the biggest difference is the quality of the graphics and the story line. Joe needs to take note! I have played all the Joe's Clutter games, and I really enjoyed them. Sometimes too much as evidenced by the fact that I have often told myself "just one more game and then I'll go to bed" and then I'm so surprised to see it's now 4 AM!
The premise of the game is finding pairs of objects (or sets of three, in some cases) in a group of many objects. You really have to use your observation skills to find all of them in the time allowed in the timed mode. The developers change it up by sometimes matching black-and-white to color items or finding 2 or 3 items but you don't know which it is until you click on them. There are other puzzles too, like jigsaw and aligning sections of a mixed-up scene. I like the clutter scenes the best, which is fortuitous because most of the games are clutter games.
The story line is interesting, and just one line before the next level; no long involved ramblings on why things are the way they are. The colors are vibrant; the objects are beautiful and fun to find. I love the spooky cartoony appearance of each scene; they are just so cute!! The high quality graphics take this game way above the Joe's Clutter games.
I have not yet played the relaxed version because I like to see if I can find everything in the allotted time. If I don't, I just start again. Because it is that much fun to play!!
I see some late-nights in my near future. I hope the developer creates more of these games. I know I'll buy them!
I recommend this game!
