I love this game!! I have liked Eipix games from when the MCF games came out. I spent many hours with the Madame and at Ravenhearst. The graphics are always great.
Personally I have become tired of the dark and horror stories so I tend to look for games that are not in the same trend. In this game, there's a scary guy running around, but no werewolves or vampires or witches or devils. Yet. At the time I'm writing this review, I have only played the demo version. So I'm not sure what will come up next. I'll let you know when I finish!
I like that the scenes are appropriately lit for an old abandoned house, and that all the scenes are not in the dark. The Hidden Object scenes are frequent enough for a HO game lover like me, with the objects disguised but not needing a magnifier to find them.
I love the idea that the couple bought an old house to flip, sight unseen. The story flows better than most, with the switching back and forth between scenes as a logical sequence rather than just a game move.
I usually skip the scenes of the characters talking but I didn't with this game! They really added to the enjoyment of the game.
I also really like the mini games. They are clever enough to hold my interest but not so hard that I want to skip. There's also a moth in each scene to find and collect, plus a cassette tape which doesn't show up as often as the moth. As I get caught up in the game, I sometimes forget if I found the tape or moth in that scene. It seems that the lower right corner tracks the number of moths/tapes found, and if I'm not mistaken, the moth is lit up if I already found it in that scene.
Good Job, Eipix! I hope this means you're creating another game line!
This game is very similar to the Joe's Clutter games. To me, the biggest difference is the quality of the graphics and the story line. Joe needs to take note! I have played all the Joe's Clutter games, and I really enjoyed them. Sometimes too much as evidenced by the fact that I have often told myself "just one more game and then I'll go to bed" and then I'm so surprised to see it's now 4 AM!
The premise of the game is finding pairs of objects (or sets of three, in some cases) in a group of many objects. You really have to use your observation skills to find all of them in the time allowed in the timed mode. The developers change it up by sometimes matching black-and-white to color items or finding 2 or 3 items but you don't know which it is until you click on them. There are other puzzles too, like jigsaw and aligning sections of a mixed-up scene. I like the clutter scenes the best, which is fortuitous because most of the games are clutter games.
The story line is interesting, and just one line before the next level; no long involved ramblings on why things are the way they are. The colors are vibrant; the objects are beautiful and fun to find. I love the spooky cartoony appearance of each scene; they are just so cute!! The high quality graphics take this game way above the Joe's Clutter games.
I have not yet played the relaxed version because I like to see if I can find everything in the allotted time. If I don't, I just start again. Because it is that much fun to play!!
I see some late-nights in my near future. I hope the developer creates more of these games. I know I'll buy them!
I started out playing Hidden Object games. I think they are a great way to keep your mind thinking in different directions, and keeping it healthy while having fun.
Some of the first games I played on Big Fish are the Mystery Case Files games. They are the ones that made me love Big Fish, and years later, I still go back to the early ones. So to find this game was the highlight of my week!!
It is a fun hidden object game. There's a story and goals to achieve, but no back and forth between scenes. The story is funny, not dark at all. The graphics are cartoony-cute and well-drawn, appropriate for the scene. The hidden objects aren't in obscure locations that make them almost impossible to find without a magnifying glass like other games. Each of the mini games required moving around the scene to figure out the mechanics. Even putting the keys in the computer was fun!
The music made me smile. I usually play games without the sound effects because most of them are distracting from the game. This music is soothing and spooky at the same time.
Thank you, MCF, for a throw back to games I really enjoy! I strongly urge everyone to play the early Mystery Case File games, especially if you like this one. They are great!
I was always bad at painting-by-number because I would inevitably paint the wrong color on the tiny spaces where I couldn't see the numbers. So the painting always came off a bit lopsided.
The pixel paintings in this game are not ruined by having the paint go on the wrong space because each space only fills in with the correct color. They just make it harder for you to find the wrong-colored space because now the mistaken square has a light color tint to it, often similar in color to the space next to it. The color tint makes it harder to read the number of the color that is supposed to be there. In other words, be careful and don't recklessly run through the picture, clicking your right button with abandon. You pay for that behavior.
I also couldn't figure out how to see the pixels along the top and bottom because the enlarge feature only works on the middle. If I keep trying to read those tiny letters, i'm going to need new glasses!
I enjoyed these levels, and especially the butterfly, teddy bear, and lion. These are a nice break from the Match 3 and Hidden Object games/.
I love these games. I like the addition of colors, and this game is no different. I was kind of hoping for another type of challenge but I understand there are only so many new things you can do with the game without losing the purpose of the grid itself. The grid itself is entertaining to me!
Seeing another Fantasy Mosaic game warms my heart. I really enjoy the series.
If this is the first time playing this type of game, try it before you buy it like another person has recommended. If you like the Fantasy Mosaic series, try some of the other grid/mosaic games. There are some that have been out for years that are still my favorites!

I love the grid games, no matter who is the developer. But, I really like the World's Greatest ones because they add more than just the grid and the multiple colors. There are the shapes and the mazes. And the beautiful gardens.

I love these grid games! I found one years ago before Big Fish games and played over and over again- that one had a pyramid, I think. When the game became too old for me to play any longer, I truly missed it. But then Big Fish started putting these games out every once in a while, and then more frequently as they caught on. Just having the grids and numbers was enough for a long time. Then the penguins added colors. Wonderful addition! Now the World's Greatest adds shapes. Even better!
I admit, the shapes were a little hard to get used to. So the idea of first colors, then one level of shapes, and now an additional level of ovals, triangles or squares on TOP of the colors is intimidating at the beginning. I like that it makes me think more, and in different directions.
I can't wait to see (and play!) the next creation to my beloved grid game!

I really love these games! I look forward to finding the little penguin and what antics he's up to now. In this game, there are the normal grids to fill in, and the multiple colors to make the resulting picture interesting (and recognizable). Like all good griddler games, finding the colored squares requires logic.
The added feature in this game is how to open all the colors! There are locks on every color over the initial 1 or 2. The only way to open the locks on these colors is to find the first ones. So it was a little confusing when I started a grid and found locks on most of the colors. Where did that come from? I found out how to remove the locks quickly. Even though logic rules, you don't have the benefit of all the other colors to switch to at first. It makes you think a little harder.
You have to love this developer. Griddler games have become more and more popular, yet they find a way to make each subsequent game more interesting than the previous ones, and better than a good portion of the griddler games out there. The only ones I really like better are the Arizona Rose ones that have been out for a while.
On the whole, this game won't let you down. A real enjoyment!

I love the griddler games! I get excited when I see a new one. I like the other major developers' games but also look forward to new types with hopefully more fun variations. So I started this game with a hopeful and open mind.
I only played for 35 minutes and then I quit.
The black grid is kind of weird, as it is hard to determine which tiles are still available and which ones are filled with the black dot. I could get used to it.
The colors of the various levels are pretty, with a 3-D impression. I don't always know what the picture is supposed to be, and there is no title that I could see. Another minor thing I could ignore.
Not always a logic game, so sometimes I had to guess or use a hint. I pride myself on solving the griddler games without using a hint, so this is a major problem for me.
The worst part is that I had to get a certain number of stars in order to progress to the next level. Seeing as the logic is missing and I don't like to use hints, I didn't get 3 stars in all the games on the first level. So I ran out of lives. Then I was given a question about the size of the garden in order to proceed. This answer might be in the beginning but I didn't remember seeing it.
Finally, this game falls short of enjoyable for me for 3 reasons - I cannot use only logic to complete the levels; I had limited number of lives to play the game; and it was hard to see the dots in the squares without colors.

When I first looked at this game, I was reminded of those little handhold games from my childhood - the squares with 15 or 19 tiles with 1 empty space and the object was to put the tiles in order by moving them around using the one empty space. I never liked these types of games then, and age and experience hasn't changed my opinion. I didn't know that until I tried to play this game.
This game looked very interesting, especially after reading the other reviews. I just couldn't get into it. You get stars for how fast you complete the puzzle and how few moves affect this star business too. There is a solution available to each of the levels that I tried (not sure about the other levels as I didn't get past 4 puzzles). I tried to complete each puzzle without help first, and never could do it - even the first one. By the time I got to the 4th one, I had to watch the solution a few times to get it right. Too frustrating to me. I like to feel like I can learn how to do things in a few tries. I got worse instead of better.
To be fair, the challenge is great. I loved the graphics. I can see how others would love it. I'm just not one of them.
