Excellent artwork, cut scenes and proper use of English and spelling. Game moves smoothly and objects are utilized quickly. Will not rehash game details as other reviewers have kindly done so.
Whereas ERS was imho one of the very best developers, they seemed to have gotten themselves stuck in time. Always one of the best in excellent artwork, however. Pleased to say that Beyond the Unknown has revealed some major improvements with ERS climbing back. The main characters no longer look exactly alike. Although overall game challenge needs much to be desired, it seems a lot of BFG gamers prefer glitz to nuts and bolts.
A Matter of Time is a good game for beginners and gamers who wish to relax and simply zone out.
Strictly for children and would sit down with my 5, 6 and 7 year old Grand children to play together. They'll be more than happy to explain how to play to Grand Mom and pleased with game's vibrant colors and fairy tale style.
For veteran gamers such as myself, it's a no-go unless you're in an altered state of mind. The artwork is beautiful although much too busy. The first fifteen minutes was all about finding smelling salts no less for the young princess who's life energy was being drained by ferocious vines. There's a great hint system that teleports gamers to the exact location needed. My competitive gaming spirit needed to, at least, thwart the vines of their purpose before doing an exit stage right prior to the demo's end.
A frantic pace of non-stop swirling, twirling array of items, creatures and puzzles will greet gamers. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Not just another solitaire game, this has a very interesting story that goes rather well and is very intriguing. Backgrounds were in luscious bold colors and artwork with gentle, flowing music that kept this gamer playing on and on.
When all levels are finished, gamer can make their own levels with power-ups that is a very unique addition. Wished the game as well as the story did not end. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Unique, lengthy and enjoyable tale of fantasy. Wish I had purchased CE!
You help Emma locate her Uncle Alfred as they've been working together on an inter-dimensional portal. Emma has to venture through the portal and locate her missing Uncle.
Journey takes gamers to brightly colored, creative and imaginative worlds that will locate pieces making up the philosopher's stone--something Uncle Alfred desired.
Hidden objects, puzzles and beautiful artwork dazzle gamers. Don't let the almost childish beginning deter gamers. This is a game to be played and enjoyed by all ages. Solid five stars!
Thanks to the genius of C2D Developers and BFG for an exceptional game! Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Agree with reviewer jmparke25. Purchased the game for something different and challenging. No problems with gameplay. As levels increase, so does the challenge increase--and very quickly.
Gamers have to spend a lot of time as this is one game that isn't played through all at one time or even within a few days. It is designed as such. Players who stated the game is boring, did not play long enough. It's nearly impossible to get 3 stars on each level, so I had to go back again and again to try and attain the 3 stars.
If you like a very challenging solitaire game with no easy way out or loop holes, here it is! Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Game had so much potential and spiraled downward. Devs had a great story idea with outstanding artwork and graphics. The down side for me--game was not supposed to be a comedy although some parts struck me as too funny-- i.e. jumping in your car to drive away--with a deceased body lying next to it. I think not.
I wasn't very keen on the 1st Cadenza although it received rave reviews and liked this sequel even less. Not all BFG games are for all BFG gamers. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
In this ghostly continuation of the Fear for Sale series, you've discovered a luxury ocean liner bears an eerie resemblance to a ship that vanished years ago.
Very impressed with the artwork and the time era. Enjoyed the whole idea of being on a Titanic-style ghost ship. Everything was practically perfect except, for me, picking up items here, there and everywhere and running around guessing where to place them---all the while on the lookout for morphing items and collectibles--is not for me. Played CE demo and was not moved enough to possibly wait for SE. Not much challenge at all, really--just tedious.
Give this gamer an old-fashion, gripping mystery without the bells, whistles, morphing objects and collectibles. A big fan of the Fear for Sale series, gamers might find the older games more engrossing as did I. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
This game was an immediate purchase and play. Sometimes don't get around to playing right away. Richly colored artwork with quality voice overs and cut scenes. Achievements to be earned: 18. Puzzles and Hidden Objects ranged from easy to difficult. Music can be redundant so I turned down the volume. No problem.
I was pleased to see the outpouring of well-deserved positive reviews. Often, a stand-alone game without the big name may get bypassed or receive negative reviews because the game doesn't fit into a certain mold.
Thank you Devs for a job well done. I gave the 5th star to thank you for the many roses drawn into the scenes. There is nothing more uplifting that beautiful, richly color roses and so many! Thank you!
Alice's "do this, do that" boss is someone many of us have endured and still do today. It is a step in the path of our journey, however and doesn't have to be the ending. Progress takes hard work and ingenuity and, in many ways, we all can relate to Alice. I just wish Devs hadn't named her Alice and would put the male gender back into these games.
After investigating a series of ritual murders on the foggy streets of London, detective James Voodoo discovers a supernatural conspiracy on a global scale.
The demo will immediately reveal if gamers will love or hate playing. Adventure and HO gamers will enjoy a game to sink their gaming skills into while investigating crime scenes, solving puzzles, unique hidden objects and delving into a sinister story line.
Using your UV light, scan for evidence such as finger prints. These will accumulate in order to make purchases to advance in the game. Using your camera, take photos of crime scene evidence to help with investigation. Journal contains, Evidence, Notes, People tabs to peruse.
I liked the game immediately. Music, artwork and story were outstanding. A definite buy for this gamer. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Excellent story and the music is outstanding as well as the artwork is flawless. I'm a stickler for spelling and there are a few errors, however, game is hands down deservedly a 5+ stars.
No glitz or glamour here. Straightforward hidden objects and creative puzzles will keep gamers busy. Lengthy and intriguing. The map is interactive and only takes you near where you need to go. I utilized the hint button to get my bearings on where to go next numerous times as there are no active tasks on the map. Journal was interesting and compact with not a whole lot of reading. Not much hand holding in this game and some of the objects are obscure.
All in all a satisfying day off gaming excursion! Highly recommend especially adventure game lovers who prefer a solid game with zero violence rather than all the bells and whistles with not much else! Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
