Just getting to playing all the sequels. The 1st and 2nd Haunted Hotel and Haunted Hotel: Lonely Dream were largely hidden objects. Charles Dexter Ward leans more to a dark and foreboding adventure-style game with a sparse amount of hidden objects.
You are searching for your brother, Charles Dexter Ward and explore an abandoned hotel where his personal items have been located. The user friendly game does not have an interactive map, however, objects are used quickly and there is minimal jumping about from scene to scene.
The movie-style cut scenes add to the foreboding darkness of this game and draw gamers into the riveting story line.

Just played and wanted to weigh in on this extraordinary pc game--a love story Dark Parables style.
Pure genius with all the CE trimmings--music, wallpaper, concept art, morphing objects, collectibles, achievements and the Humpty Dumpty bonus game.
There's a sun and moon emblem in the bonus chapter that I must have for a tattoo and will 1st ask their permission.
Nothing is left undone in this game as the music and artwork wows gamers as well as the very lengthy gameplay! Yay!
Thank you Blue Tea Games Developers. I buy every BTG game that is released--especially the CE versions as I can't get enough and don't want to miss out on the pure genius of their artists and staff.

Mother and daughter are on a road trip and their car has an accident. Mother awakens and discovers daughter is gone!
You must search the surrounding foreboding area to untangle a web of mysterious, bazaar and frightening events.
The Fog is lengthy and keeps gamer's interest throughout gameplay and will be around for a long, long time as an all-time great classic pc game!

Five plus stars for the 3rd and even more exciting Mayan Prophecies sequel. All the beautifully rendered, crisp scenes and adventure of an Indiana Jones movie.
Achievements, morphing objects, all the right stuff in a top quality game and since I love mahjong, having the option to switch from a hidden object is all the more reason I will make this purchase.
Great job, Ele-Fun and thank you for an awesome game!
BTW, thanks also to BFG. I was getting a bit skeptical that all the so-called free to play games would push out these truly exquisite games such as Mayan Prophecies of which I so look forward to playing!

The residents of Anther thought that Earth would be a good place to hide their magic since earth has none. They also thought earth is peaceful and has no torment. What they did get right was that what we mere earthlings lack in magic, we make up for in sheer determination especially to help others in distress.
A bold, brilliant, super colorful, detailed and awesome game! Oh, how I've cried, begged and pleaded for a more bright and uplifting game and my cries have been heard and answered with the sheer genius that only EIPIX has consistently provided.
The most intriguing aspect of EIPIX Developers is that their games are always different in terms that gamers could not guess they're from the same Developers except for the utmost top quality gaming--which is always apparent.
So, grab some popcorn, gamers, we're in for a special treat as we delve into discovering the realm of Anther along with the dazzling creative minds of EIPIX.

Without the sparkle and fireworks, this game holds it's own in suspense and mystery and a truly good story.
You awaken in the middle of the night aboard a ship upon which you've stowed. You're a female and the captain and other hands have welcomed you aboard, however, something is terribly wrong. You are alone.
Knowing it's a game, I still was rather frightened to look around every corner while investigating the ship, mostly as I usually play at night, in the dark, alone, boo!
Seriously, great game! Enjoyed from beginning to end. Wholeheartedly recommend!

While I get it that the theme is based on an old tale told to youngsters, for whatever reason other than to scare them senseless; this was not the most glaring reason for disliking the game. And although pleased to see a refreshing new backdrop, that was the end of any positive expectations.
Game was choppy and all over the place. Storyline was unpleasant at best and presented without much thought to flow smoothly and fit all the pieces together.
Almost afraid to read the reviews, I was sure the game would be a bomb. However, true to form, five star reviews led the way. Thankfully, demos are available and gamers won't need 90 minutes or 90 seconds to feel the pain.
Why so harsh? Because, the usual bright, colorful scenes with all the bells and whistles of a Collector Edition, one important factor was forgotten--the game. Rather than a good game, we are handed pretty colors on a silver platter with psychological shock treatments in exchange for quality gaming.
I've never developed a game and very much appreciate all the hard work, dedication and sacrifice. With that said as well as all the great artwork, music, planning and producing, maybe devs can set a new standard to create a more positive and effective gaming experience.

Seasoned Developers for Rite of Passage and Nevertales games have vastly improved in terms of graphics, artwork, sound, music, puzzles and hidden objects! Collectibles are puzzles pieces of a larger picture which I personally like.
Certainly didn't have games like this when growing up. Would definitely recommend for the younger generation if gamers don't mind magic and witch craft.
Review based solely on demo. Music is rich and playing the game is like interacting with a movie. Question is--does the full-length game plot deepen with intrigue?

From the makers of truly cutting edge games such as Dark Dimensions and Sable Maze, Daily Magic Developers have released yet another winning combination gaming experience.
Rich, vibrant colors, music, creative puzzles and hidden object scenes abound. Pleased with earning achievements rather than searching for morphing objects and collectibles.
Between Ominous Objects release today and BFG's terrific sale yesterday--of which I spent my entire week's allowance- my woe-is-me gaming faith has been restored!

Not only is playing with sound a good idea, wearing a good set of head phones is a real treat--especially in this game!
Developers poured their hearts and souls into producing high quality gaming in Dead Reckoning. Not to mention any names, yet, some devs of late have cut corners with every game too similar--not EIPIX. Story line is creative and the puzzles are challenging. Bring it!
EIPIX games are getting better and better! Loving the Roaring 20's type time era, sharp details, music, sounds, voice overs.
