Where have you been hiding this game, BFG--Mysteries and Nightmares: Morgiana--that appears to lean more heavily on the adventure side with puzzles than hidden object scenes.
Pleasantly surprised with the many cut scenes, videos and voice overs especially for a Standard Edition version. Very complete, organized and well rendered down to the smallest detail in casting a mesmerizing spell over gamers. We delve into what exactly is going on in this young woman's life who was whisked away by a magical force while she slept.
You have at your disposal an interactive map with tasks and legends as well as an overly educated mouse who prefers to be called Jack. Although cutesy animal helpers are usually annoying, Jack is an outcast due to his intelligence and gamers don't mind having him around as he's quiet and out of the way. There are some powerful, magical items that need to be assembled, too and then utilized at the right scenes that lends the game some variety and creativity.
Is the game original? You betcha! Game does have magical overtones, however, there was no violence so far in the demo which was a refreshing change of pace.
Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
I recommend this game!

Looks like we have a mystery here and one that requires playing the game! Ut-oh, Our star is a young lady named Kathleen whose boyfriend has gotten himself into a real problem and needs our help.
The music kept me interested as well as the mystery surrounding an important artifact that seems to be worth endangering others for to acquire. Graphics and hidden object scenes are clear and concise.
With all the razzle dazzle of late, enjoying this refreshing change.

One of the BEST Elephant Games on BFG ever. Since I am also big on the importance of story line development and plot, this game has it all--was quite frightful and tearful too.
Hidden object scenes were masterfully rendered and mini-puzzles creative. Developers poured their hearts and souls into their art. Bonus Content was worthy and, although gamer could not replay HOS or Puzzles, the game itself and all the masterful artwork and music well made up to maintain as a Collector's Edition.
Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

First impression is a great game for teens. Cannot see the usual magic in The Flower of Shadow as compared to previous Eclipse Mountain, Temple of Night and Mystery of the Ancestral Estate of which I own all three.
The quality of all games seems to be cloned into a certain format with lots of running around picking up items and trying to figure out where they go, collectibles, morphing objects, lots of colors, weird mythical beings, dark powers invading human bodies and the like.
Does seem to be picking up some momentum as the storyline develops and for those players who have the patience and this game wows them.
My respect and admiration for Orneon Developers and their previous sequels.
Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

We BFG gamers have landed ourselves on a bus leading to some dry, dusty, forgotten part of desert somewhere in Kansas. Developing story line as a mystery unfolds. Is a very strange place, indeed. Your guess is as good as mine where this is going.
Not the usual suspects in hidden object scenes as these are all interactive objects and they are creative. Leans more to the Adventure side although the game is really in a class all of it's own. The main attraction is that people are missing.
Game proceeds rather slowly especially as we gamers are accustomed to zipping around as a fast food society, even so are the games. If we slow our roll, may enjoy this one, however, not at the CE price--unless this is one of those games that takes me a week or two to figure it out.
Those were the good old days with games of challenge when puzzles couldn't be skipped and walkthroughs weren't automatically part of the package. Many gamers won't even buy a game if there's no walkthrough. What's the point? Maybe that's why the game is at CE price--strategy guide included! Makes cents!
Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

Wow! Mark this date in June 2014! Finally a pure adventure game---that can be played by all. Unlike some of the phenomenal classics like Syberia or realMyst that are definitely a challenge, Black Rainbow can be enjoyed by all ages and strict HOG lovers may welcome a change!
Game starts out a bit slow to adjust from the seemingly murky mire of endless, boring HOGS, then off to the freedom of roller coaster ride adventure gaming! Whooah!
Scrub the scenes and go back again. What you need may be there a second time around. Look around. Click on this 'n that. About mid-way into game, the circle appears over items needing pieces from your inventory. Collect skulls for achievements. Search uncluttered, unique and beautiful scenery.
Playing challenge level which is so very easy, however, I'm not complaining one peep as we Adventure game lovers would like to see MORE BFG PURE ADVENTURE GAMES.
You're special. You can do this.
Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

All things considered including the usual rave and sometimes negative reviews, this is Dark Parables by Blue Tea Games Developers and gamers cannot go wrong.
Yes, background is busy, busy with lots of color, collecting and vegetation galore--not all so friendly! Demo started out a bit mundane. Hang in there as demos can be deceiving and becoming immersed into a magically weaved fantasy tale is one of the many talents Dark Parables brings to gamers.
Bottom line, a definite Collector's Edition buy for me at the next BFG sale.

Played expert. Puzzles easy so far on demo, however, becomes more engaging. Hidden object scenes do-able and fun. Detailed artwork reflects developers Top Evidence have invested much hard work into making this game.
I like stories about artists as it tells me they are good artists and take great pride in their work. Storyline different, yet, similar to other games involving artists which capture people onto the canvas.
That being said, a cutesy child angel sits on the lower right for hints. Thankfully, gamers don't have to name it or interact.
Game certainly has a certain amount of appeal and, even though there's a bit to and fro tracking, I recommend as a better game nowadays, relatively speaking. Just would like developers to allow the story to play out more rather than tell it to gamers. Also, proof reading the finished product is important and improves overall game quality.
Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
I recommend this game!

Trying to be fair, although not sure how this game made it's way to BFG. Hopefully, gamers will try the demo first and then read the reviews, otherwise, again, undeserved high reviewer marks are downright deceiving.
1st of all, I'm not fond of gnomes although the gnome mini game is creative but childish. Overall, this is okay for children or if you've never in your life played a pc game--ever and maybe you've never played a game with a Dark Lord who vanishes amidst black smoke while threatening to destroy the town of...Neverville. Really?
Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

Brilliant computer graphics. However, this is not a game but an illusion of a game wrapped up in beautiful colors and, again, ERS enchanted creatures but who forgot to include Alice chasing the rabbit.
How can 5 star reviews be taken seriously any more? I could not even suggest for a child with already one dead body and a message written in blood within the first few minutes of gameplay as well as a frightening, menacing, threatening destroyer of a once beautiful world who has kidnapped the King and threatens to kill him! Not dark and gloomy?
At the risk of sounding repetitious, as long as these type of inferior games receive undeserved 5-star great reviews, we get what we get---poorer quality games as time goes by.
ERS, I loved you at one time, you were one of my favorite Developers. There is absolutely no challenge any longer and the last ERS game I purchased was "Twilight Phenoma: Strange Menangerie CE" in August 2013. So sad...
Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
