I bought this game as i love playing the Twistingo games. This one had only 5 sets in the whole game - and they were very basic ones at that. Extremely disappointed. The hidden object scenes were a vast improvement on previous games. But why call it Twistingo if it is everything but? I don't recommend this game.
I bought this game for the 'twistingo' games, not the hidden objects. Yet it didnt seem to have very many at all. I am sure the first one in the series had a lot more games. Bit disappointing when you complete it in a couple of hours, and are left feeling unsatisfied.
The game itself was mindless playing, which are great at times. They were enjoyable to play. After doing the trial I looked forward to playing the game. BUT....... There was no levels to choose from, or star rating for each game - very basic set up. So finished it very quickly. 90 games at 1-2 minutes per game is not CE length. However, mostly giving it a low score as the bonus CE content appeared to just be Wallpapers and Music - of which I paid double price for something i have no interest in at all. Maybe look to the SE, but I do not recommend the CE.

I own the original so wasn't really interested in the remastered version, as previous 'remastered' games haven't been anything much from the original . But decided to have a look and am glad i did. It is in widescreen which the original isn't, which is a big plus. Been years since having played it, it was like a whole new game. Plenty of extra hidden objects to find, good graphics and a good balance of story and games. Made me recall just how much better the older games use to be. The game ran smoothly without any glitches, and was enjoyable to play.

The puzzles themselves were slightly challenging - i played around 35 in the trial, and none stumped me, but a couple i was a little slower on. I found them enjoyable to play. And they appeared to increase in difficulty as they went along. But that is about where the good part ends. It took a long time to get going - i just had a blank screen for quite a few minutes at the start. I had no music, even with it turned on (and even that was just an on/off button). The colours were dull and boring. It was as if someone created the puzzles ready to make into a proper game, but never completed it. I havent decided whether to purchase it or not (and that would only be on a free game coupon), as i have no idea how many puzzles there are. Would be good to see the game released with a proper menu, a proper options screen, and a game board where you can skip any you get stuck on and then come back later to try again. By all means, give the trial a go. But unfortunately i am going to have to say I dont recommend this game.

The same games over and over and over and over and over....they just change the name of the game, and the "storyline" or "theme" - which has absolutely no connection to the game other than the opening screen. The game has no story. Played one, played them all.

I like the hiddenverse games normally. Having one or two levels that you need to play over and over to earn the 5 stars. This game didnt have any of that. I didnt have to repeat a single level. There was no challenge to them. It still felt like i was playing very early levels, only to discover i had completed the game. So it was finished very quickly. Very disappointed with it.

This game isnt your standard cookie cutter game that have been in abundance lately. It has a real story to it!. Puzzles werent very challenging, but were different to all the same ones that keep rotating in the usual games. It wasnt a fast game to play, but it run smoothly. One of the best games i have played in years. Only a few little annoyances. Firstly...they really need better voices - the main character's voice was irritating to say the least. Also, if you missed any of the collectibles you couldnt go back and get them at the end of the game. The bonus chapter followed on from main game, but was quite short. Definitely recommend this game.

I normally love this style of match 3, but this game just didnt do it for me. There seemed to be no story line, and no progressive goal. Just game after game after game, all the same. No rewards for doing well. No stars earned that you could improve on. Might be okay to play as a time filler, but i prefer my games to have a purpose within the game.

Imperial Island #3 would be one of my favourite match 3 games. So was very excited when i saw #4 arrive. I was left feeling very disappointed. The layout is in the same "path" design as a lot of online games are these days, rather than the previous game's layout. Instead of upgrading each building as you go along, you just have 3 levels for each number on the path - of the same game. So it becomes very repetitive. For the first 20 games the board was only a few squares. Not the large, many squares game previously. To me it seemed the game was slapped up quickly in the mainstream design, making it "just another match 3 game" I think i will just go play #3 again, rather than purchase this one...... Disappointing to say the least.,
