I am so sad that I am done playing this game as it was one of the most originally done games I have played in a longgggg time. The most unique thing about it was that it had an evidence board that you, the detective, put together yourself so usually when I play games I have no use for the journal but when you find new clues or pictures in this game, you have to put them together into your very own evidence board/journal and the narrator (you) writes out and speaks what she is thinking about who it could of been or where it was committed. It felt like I was watching a criminal tv show and because I was an active participant I was throughly engaged in this game. I LOVE this game. The graphics were superb, the level of difficulty was just right as I was in advanced mode and got lost a lot but not too much that I was frustrated. There were lots of locations, more than I thought originally and the story line is wonderful and the best part is, there will be another one. I've been enjoying this developer a lot lately~!! Cheers to a developer who can think out of the box!! I've played A LOT of games and Id put this one in my top 5 of all time =)
This is one of the most boring games I've ever played. Its another woman who lost her memory and is in a broke down house/asylum and a little girl telling her to hide and they will avoid the weird man. This game tells you to turn off all the lights and turn the volume up and get ready for a real spooky time and beware if you get frightened easily and I have no idea why because the bad guy in this just laughs and mumbles a lot over another loud speaker and the graphics are really not that good so if anything scary is happening, I was missing it.
Like for instance, *SPOILER*, bats fly out at you in one scene but the bats are so blurry, I wouldn't have even known they were bats if I wasn't in a "spooky" house. The cursor was slow and it didn't fill my whole screen not to mention the little girl who is helping you looks really weird like her face isn't proportioned correctly or something because she looks strange, even her haircut isn't right like they didn't finish her.
Overall, after playing the demo, I have decided this game just isn't for me. The acting is so bad its almost comical and the more games that come out by this developer the more I realize how much I dislike them. This game is almost as if this developer decided, "hey spooky games are in, lets throw a bunch of stuff that is deemed "scary" into a house, have weird sound effects n a bad guy with bad voice acting and of course people will buy it" Id rather mow my lawn in 120 degree heat than play this game & the fact this is a CE is laughable. I wouldn't even buy this as a daily deal. Amazing what people try to make money on.
The only reason I am not giving this 1 star is because I've actually bought a game worse than this. Amazingly enough.
I've been over ERS games for awhile but the demo seemed to me that it was a halfway interesting game as it reeled me in and for the most part it was an okay game except there were way too many hidden object scenes. I would just do one and then enter the next room and another would be waiting and because of that there weren't a lot of mini games and the ones they did have were new but totally easy to the point a child could have done them. I began to dread playing because of the hidden object scenes everywhere. Yes its a hidden object genre BUT in game like this you need a fair balance or it just becomes boring. They made the game longer by going to the same scenes like 2 or 3 times. Also, just like in all ERS games you have to solve a final puzzle and then it shows you the ending blah blah but this game had no ending. You solve the puzzle and it goes to the credits so that means the actual ending to make this game actually make sense is in the Collectors Edition bonus game and developers who do this make me crazy. The bonus game should be a BONUS, not the ending to the story.
And even though the graphics are beautiful, ERS can you please make a new soundtrack??? I just can't give this more than 3 stars. It was just mediocre to me.
I personally loved this game however I only gave it 4 stars because of the length. This game was so impressive graphically speaking that I was in awe of the environment I was playing in. The snow scenes were so life-like, I actually felt cold moving through them and the hidden object scenes although a little junk-piled were done well and the items to be found fit in with the scenes as some of the items in the "armory room" were armory items and I had no idea what they were but over all the graphics were impeccable and very tasteful. My one complaint was the length. It seemed like the minute I got really into the game and entangled into its plot, it was over. It only took me 2 hours and 54 minutes to play this according to the "score card" and had I bought the CE, I would have been very disappointed. I don't need a 10 hour game for it to be a good game but in my opinion games should last at least 4 hours if not more so I was in shock it ended so fast but it was rather easy as the main character told you even in advanced mode what "she thought you should do". And I dislike that kind of help in advanced mode but over all, this game is very well done and kept my attention greatly. So great I didn't want it to end! And I liked the twist on the story. Well done.

First off, I have both Azada games and LOVE them. This for me wasn't the same Azada I know and love BUT I did enjoy playing it. Secondly, I haven't been a big fan of ERS games for a long time so initially when I saw they teamed up with BFG to do the 3rd one I was scared BUT they did a good job. In fact I wish ERS did more just puzzle games with no hidden object scenes because I actually liked this style of gaming more than their actual hidden object scene games. I love adventure/puzzle games. Even though I was kind of confused about what exactly what was going on but I think that was what they wanted you to feel like...I was intrigued the whole game and the demo ran out in what felt like seconds since I pushed Start. IF ERS made more games like this, Id definitely be hooked again.
I only rate this 3.5 even though it made me do 4 and the reason is because its Azada and I feel like the first two in the series were special games, IMO and this one even though its fun and it doesn't have the same feel about it that the first 2 did but I am going to buy it =)
