In "classic" mode, you play solitaire over and over and if you win a hand you unlocked a new flower - except you have to go elsewhere to see it. Why not have it bloom on the game page with the other blooming flowers?
In "arcade" mode, you play solitaire over and over with the exception that when you win a hand you move up to the next level. After "x" number of levels, you unlock a new flower. Again, you have to go see it elsewhere rather than have it bloom with the other flowers on the blooming game page.
There are no discernible bonuses or extras for having a long string of cards - which I pride myself on accomplishing.
All in all this was not a buy for me at all. Nor would I recommend it to anyone who loves a good game of solitaire - because this is not it. If you want to see blooming flowers, I recommend going to see a garden.
Happy Gaming!
I don't recommend this game.

Tri-Peaks 2: Quest for the Ruby Ring
Complete hands and collect artifacts for the Museum in this globe-trotting solitaire adventure.
So, Abby and her boyfriend, Max are jet-setting across the world (it looks like only 4 countries actually) to find the infamous Ruby Ring of Fire. Everyone is looking for it and she HAS to be the first one to get it. It's cursed - but - oh well. Max, he's kind of a dunderhead. Off they go.
This is a solitaire game. Basic solitaire. Nothing changes. I thought maybe the game would change up when you reached another country but no, same old game just a different card back - yippee!
I liked watching Max try to cross the ledge near the ceiling of the game board and the monkey climbing up the multiplier pole. If you won a game, Max moved on to a treasure chest where you win points. If you lose, poor Max gets zapped in all kinds of cruel ways. Poor Maxie. Periodically, Abby is strung up and you have only minutes to complete the Tri-Peaks to save her. I always managed to.
As I said, boring. This is definitely not a buy for me but I do encourage everyone, especially those who like a good game of solitaire to give this hour-long free demo a try.

Coyote's Tale: Fire and Water
Two sisters are about to go on the strangest vacation of their lives. Mischievous Aztec gods strive to make life a little more difficult.
The graphics are so bad it's impossible to see anything in the monochromatic scenes - all tans and light browns.
HOGs are impossible to play because the items are either transparent or set in the same color as the desert tan monochromatic color scheme that's throughout this game.
Mini Games were also incredibly difficult. No fun here at all.
Max is a cheesy, slimy, player-type character and the Fox is just full of stupendous and useless information.
There is no hint button. As you level up you do get a "heart" to use as a hint but it takes forever to recharge.
All in all, this is a weird, unimaginative game that someone threw together and didn't put much thought into at all. Not only is not a buy for me but I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone waste a good hour of their time on this free demo.
I recommend this game!

Ominous Objects: Family Portrait Collector's Edition
A father returns home to find his children missing - all but one, who refuses to say a word...
Father is coming home from a long trip away. His family has moved into a castle while he was gone but now strange things are happening there and the children have disappeared. All but his Leia. But is she too terrified to speak? What scared her so? Just as he reaches home, he sees his lovely wife Elizabeth waiting inside the open front doors. He runs to her but the doors close in his face! What is he going to do? How will he save his children if he doesn't know what happened? What connection does the secret passage/room behind the bookcase have on all this mystery? Play the Game and find out.
Graphics/Sound: The graphics are absolutely amazing Colors bright and appropriately colored. Background music relaxing and sound effects apropos to the situation.
HOGs/Mini Games: The HOGs are incredibly interactive. The Mini Games were well thought out. They ranged from mid-to-extremely difficult.
There are 3 levels of difficulty - casual, advanced and hard. You eventually get a cat to help you get items you can't reach, a map you have to find and shows where an action needs to be done - but I'm not sure it's transportable. The hint button, which takes some time to recharge, does transport you to various places.
CE Bling: The usual wallpapers, concept art, music tracks, bonus game, strategy guide, match 3 game, developer's diary, kitty playroom where you buy items for your assistant cat, achievements and more.
I was hooked on this game from the beginning. It has everything - mystery, intrigue, it's a definite buy for me. I encourage everyone to give it a try - the demo is an amazing 90 minutes of playtime and it's absolutely free.
The game description led me to believe this was something like a hidden object game - ok, maybe I misread. But, still, this SPOT THE DIFFERENCES was loaded - overloaded - with problems.
Let's start with no instructions. Then, your "emails" start coming in so fast you haven't finished one "job" (finding the differences - fixing a painting - swapping tiles to make a whole picture, etc.) when 3 more come in. And, once you've been bounced out of one how do you get back to your unfinished job? Go figure it out ... no, really....go figure it out ... I had to.
Next, what is that "check mark" looking emblem that glows in our "inventory" (which we have to purchase piece by piece)? Would have been nice to know those things.
Ah, and when we FINALLY purchase - lo and behold - a magnifying glass - the pictures become so detailed and tiny we are FORCED to use said magnifying glass, which only makes an already difficult picture to see the differences in - IMPOSSIBLE because it's so grainy and fuzzy and IMPOSSIBLE to see! Oh, did you get all the "IMPOSSIBLES"? Because that was what this game was - IMPOSSIBLE!
And, finally, the funereal music. If I heard another operatic AVE I would have strangled someone - it only got on my every nerve.
Now, do you want to know how I REALLY feel? IMPOSSIBLE!
Not only is this NOT a buy for me but I would not recommend anyone to waste their precious hour on this free demo. Want to see a nice picture? Go to a museum instead.
This game is totally AWESOME! Prepare for adjective overload!
Where do I start? Let's see ... how about the opening scene is musical! HAH! Someone, with an incredible voice, sings you the story in rhymes. That got me hooked right off.
Next, Giggles the tutor. You can turn him off but I LOVED him and he was so not annoying. But, he was helpful when new "components" showed up because he explained them to you ... in script. AND, you get to play your bonus level with him .. getting through a PAC-MAN type game board collecting diamonds. But, don't let him get caught by a ghost. I did, once, and I apologized to him, out load. It's THAT CUTE!
Then, almost every other level I was being promoted - with accompanying horns!! Who knew that could make me feel so darn PROUD! I wanted to continue just to find out exactly what I would be at the end of 100 levels of playing.
It's not an easy game by far. It's not a swap match 3 game, but you drag your cursor across as many like items you can possibly muster. You don't even have to clear the board of tiles - it helps though - the more blue tiles you clear the more coins you have to "reshuffle" when Giggles hollers "we're stuck!" Yeah, that's cute too.
Every 6 levels you start a new stage - AND you get another part of the story SUNG in RHYME to you AGAIN! CUTENESS OVERLOAD!
Sigh. Now, I'm just too wrung out to even talk about the boxes and frozen items and bonuses so just try the free hour long demo and find that out for yourself - lol.
Happy Gaming!
I recommend this game!

Lottso! Deluxe
Bingo gone bonkers? You`ve played Bingo, you`ve played the lottery - now play the winning combo!
Why do I so dislike this game? If 1 star didn't indicate the word "hate" which I despise (the word "hate" - I despise the word "hate") this would have been a 1 star review.
I liked the bingo type aspect of the game. And, even then, I got bored, quickly. Once you choose your first building, you can't change to another one until you meet certain pre-set goals. And even then, one building's games were the exact as the one you just left!
Oh, and let's not forgo that out of, what, 60 games or so I had to play to get PAST the 3rd of 6 buildings, I only lost 3 times. Yep, came out ahead a good 57 times. Go figure. It was even that challenging - just a game of chance really. And if I could get past 3 buildings in an hour, just how SHORT is this stupid game?
Ridiculous, boring and predictable. Not a buy for me and not recommending this nonsense to anyone. I have people who rely on my reviews and it would not be in my good conscience to recommend something so trite.
So, these 2 alchemists decided to build a tower that would unleash the dead among the world. Realizing their mistake, one alchemist sacrificed his soul to save mankind. Unfortunately, more and more souls needed to be sacrificed as time went by. Then, if things weren't bad enough, a witch took residence in the tower and now she wants to do something really evil. But what? And can you seal the doorway and destroy the tower once and for all? Give it your best shot.
Graphics are pretty cutesy but so is the game - cutsey, cheesy, quirky and definitely not our typical dark and dreary fair. Background music was soft and relaxing. Voiceovers in cutscenes were clear and easy to understand.
HOGs were easy and very interactive. Mini Games were extremely original and varied from extremely easy to "I have to give this some thought".
You have a companion cat (of course) and have received a letter from a ghost (spirit?) asking you to meet her at the tower. So, your adventure begins.
This is a quirky, cute game that hand holds you somewhat. Most of the time you can finish your task on each island, but sometimes you have to go back one or two islands to get a missing item. No biggee. Would have been a great Halloween game.
My only question is how long is the game? Probably pretty short, but considering how cute it is (and that's what I like) I'll probably use a free coupon on bonus punch Monday.
NOT even going to try to explain how to play this game. Yes, it is a match 3 or more but the way you have to match blocks of like colors, well, that's why there are 6 pages of instructions - read them. Don't busy yourself too much with remembering what the bonus blocks do, you'll get a reminder right before the level it shows up on.
I played arcade mode and it was so relaxing. All I had to do was earn "x" number of points to pass the level. I was in the zone and ............. FREE TRIAL EXPIRED! ARGH! The ARGH part is my personal "wow" factor - usually means BUY THIS GAME!
And, normally I would BUT the game description page says there are 20 levels per game mode. So, if I was playing 'arcade' mode that means there are only 20 levels. I easily passed 15 levels during the free hour demo. So, does that mean I only have 5 levels to go? If so, unfortunately, NOT a buy for me. Boo-hoo - I LOVED THIS GAME! But, just to replay one game mode over and over for drive my OCD personality nuts.
I DO, however, recommend this a definite try it for everyone! Even if it seems confusing, get past a few levels and you will be a pro!
The Captain and his family (?) were on their space vacation, obviously from another planet, and accidentally ran into one of our satellites - sleeping at the wheel? No real mention of the satellite exploding, but somehow sleeping picolytes were released on our blue planet and being chased by scientists and nasty children. Your goal is to save the piccolytes.
To do this, you rotate the colored blocks to make blocks of 4 or more matching colors. Those would be the ones you're saving. There are locks to break and bombs to keep from diffusing or they will up your time level. Run out of time and ... you get it.
There are several modes of play. I prefer adventure as there is always a storyline. There is also challenge and puzzle. Background music is very jazzy. Definitely outshines any sound FX.
Here's the only reason I didn't LOVE the game. WHAT exactly was I supposed to do to pass the level? I diffused every bomb and unlocked every lock but STILL ran out of time - time to do what? For this reason, and this reason, alone it is not going to be a buy for me.
I will, however, encourage everyone to try this fun little space game. Maybe you can figure out exactly what has to be done to pass the level. If so, leave a review cuz I'll be reading.
