I enjoy compter jigsaws a lot and planned to enjoy this one. But almost from the outset it just wasn't shipshape for me. There are virtually no "bells and whistles" such as rotation, color adjustment, piece size, shape, ghost image or even a story line. The "story" was referred to in the discription but not in the game. The ships are beatufully drawn but most images are dark and many are black and white. The pluses while few are there: the pieces lock into place when corectly positioned and all are at the edges of the work area. But I found it a dull, frustratingly rough voyage in what could've been a delightful cruise. So while I suggest you give it a try you may find you've boarded the Titanic, not the QEII!.
I recommend this game!

Heaven & Hell
Journey with Angelo to retrieve the stolen artifacts
I'm a fan of M3's and play lots of them. I hoped this would be an amusing take on the angel-deamon theme. Well the theme is there, but there's not too many pluses after that. The translation is poor and while mostly understndable, could've made directions a lot clearer a lot faster. But the most disappointing were the graphics which are cartoonish but far from cute or even clear. Objects/characters are often hard to distinguish quickly and mar what could've been a fun and challenging game. Power-ups, trophies are all there and this game really had potential but the negatives far outweigh any fun for me. Hoping the devs will take a hint and use a good platform for a much more fun experience.
I'm a fan of solitaire games but was about to abandom them as they all seemed so, well, bland. Sequence cards, get points, ho hum...But along comes this incredibly innovative and literally beautiful game and I'm in love with solitaire again and I bet you'll be too! True, it's the same old sequencing game but with gold and items hidden under the columns, allies with power and power-ups to buy plus a heroic quest, it goes far beyond the average card game. VO's, rewards, an untimed option and...well, the list goes on. Try this one and you may find yourself immersed in it for years!

I enjoyed this game more than the others in the series for the brighter, more vivid graphics good voiceovers and interest-keeping plot. Most of the puzzles were fun, too tho I'm not a great fan of some types. The bonus game plot was super but the implementation was, well...weak. I mean, why did we have to do a certain task (no spoilers here!) several times when they could've varied the approach. But a relatively minor note in an otherwise fun HOG/puzzler. The ending satisfies but I'd have liked more flourish. Again, don't let these quibbles keep you from giving this a try. It might leave you feeling triumphant over evil...or are you? Try it and see!

Having read the reviews and the category for this game, I dowloaded it just to see if it really was soooo bad. Then, surprise! It turned out to be a game of strategy and logic hampered by kiddie graphics and music and the nonsensical title and theme. But under all that is a game of cold logic in which you have limited moves and time to amass a hihgh score and thus get more "coins" for more turns. The real goal isn't match 3, that's only the engine by which you prove successful. Chaining shapes, causing avalanches and doing so with a fixed clock and number of moves gets waaay beyond child's play at higher levels. In sum, it's a good game wanabee that got lost in kindergarten. Hoping for a reissue with updated graphics sounds and action. But give it a try once you know what to expect. I got to level 10 but beyond that, who knows what you'lll find!

Having played the previous 2 in theseries, I hoped for soe improvements. They were there, but also soe disappoijtments as well. You don't have to have played the previousgmes as this is a temple tour that stands on its own. So what's disappointing? Well, the tile set is the all too familliar Chinese one which although done very well should've been one of several alternative sets.. The music while not loud or brassy is quickly tiring but can be muted. Colors are much better thn the"Cities" game before it. Temple info is interesting but totally unrelated to the game. There's no timer #I played the trial only so maybe one comes in later# which is a big plus. Overall, a worthy game for mahjong fans both novice and veteran players.

All the elements of a good M3 game are here: bright colors, bombs, sinister rocks but the sum is less than its parts. The game play is ok if you play untimed as the demands increase with each level. The story sounds mysterious but isn't solved in the demo time so I can't judge it. The colors are indeed bright, but shades are very similar and this can be frustrating when pressed for time. It's a good game that could've been great with a bit more creativity, art and playability. For die-hard M3 fans, give it a try, you may find it relaxing but compared to lots of M3's out there, it just doesn't cutit.

I really wanted to like this game. I really did. The story sounded cool, the music was spooky if a bit annoying after a while. The characters are nicely drawn and the font for dialogue and directions is clear and very readable. So what happened? In a word-playability! The HOG scenes are blurry and oddly colored. The hint bottle refills quickly but it's often hard to see where the hint sparkles are pointing. But the biggest downer for me was the timer! Timed HOGs are frustrating at best, but with it's unclear directions and short duration, it became an exercise in frustration. For all these reasons, I can't recommend this game. Despite it's good points, it's just too fulla problems.
Since I enjoy match 3 games and especialy those which let you build cities and the like I figured I was in for a treat with this game. Nope, not quite. The storyhas potential and collecting materials and gold is cool, but almost nothing was done with the possibilities. The match objects are tiny and the grid background isn't alway easy to see. There's no progress recorded for the building you're working on, only stats of how many matches, time, etc. but there's no feeling you've actually accomplished anything. The colors are dull sepia tones and the one power-up I earned during the demo was well drawn but fairly ineffective. I tried, really tried to like this game but there just isn't enough sparkle to hold interest very long. It's lots of potential which didn't fulfill its promise. I hope it'll be reissued sometime with more glamour, bells and whistles. Till then for me, it's a pass.
What at first may look like a slightly lopsided match 3 is that indeed, but much more. There's plenty of challenge, power-ups galore and castle buillding too! The story isn't Shakiespear quality but interesting enough to keep you going and the game play (once you figure out the somewhat mysterious directions# is challenging in that goals must be met and tasks finished to move the story #and your levels) along. The slanted board is made easier by the brightly colored and detailed objects to match and the game play even makes up for the cartoony and unlovely people in the kingdom. If you like match 3 play, give it a try and you might emerge with a georgous citadel!
