There are many, many marble poppers available, and most seem to follow a standard pattern. Nothing wrong there, but if you were hoping for a "new" twist, Quadrium may fill the bill. There have been a few similarly themed games but the colorful clarity of this one set it apart. The rules are simple, the power ups helpful (with some deliberate exceptions!) and the music is relaxing. But the downer for me was the speed of the overall action. For those with perfect sight and excellent coordination this may pose no problem. However, I found inadequate time between marbles entering and other game actions. But overall, this is a fun and novel reworking of a familiar and enjoyable genre.

There's a lot to like and very few downers with this game. The graphics are clear and bright even in dim night scenes. HO's are clear, have big (and small) objects but no blurry or misnamed items (so far, as I've finished the demo). My 2 major disappointments? Ash and the box! I like dogs (some are even friends!) but these doggies and other creature "helpers" are anything but! They add cuteness but nothing else to an already excellent game, and worsen an inferior title. This game would be super without the pet and gizmos like the box are needless complications for me. But those gripes aside, this gem of a game is a keeper! I highly recommend giving it a try. It's HO gaming at its best!

I enjoy match 3 games so I expected at least an ordinary m3 with maybe a few new twists. But a few minutes into the demo I saw there was much more there than a simple puzzle. Wow! There are mysteries to solve, items to collect, magic to wield and a deepening storyline as the game progresses! In some aspects "Clover" is similar to games like Midnight Castle and Wanderland. But instead of hidden objects or majong, match 3 moves the tale along. Your character gains strength, abilities and magic as he/she solves the quests and although moves are limited you can retry levels endlessly if necessary. Rewards of jewels, pendants, potions and other goodies are gained by solving the m3's requirements. This is a deep, fun and challenging game and I recommend at least giving it 20 minutes to begin unfolding the story before deciding if it's a keeper.

I really wanted to like this game. The description and many reviews hinted it might be just my thing. But-mainly the graphics were far from enticing. Cartoonish and with a kind of grey overtone they proved annoyingly difficult for these senior eyes. The story moved at a very leisurely pace and the almost constant childish giggling soon moved from annoying to irritating! All said, I strongly recommend giving this game a try before buying. The items I find distressing may not stop your enjoyment but I suggest proceeding with caution. For me, I'll be out exploring other possibilities.
I don't recommend this game.

A novel take on the match 3 game. An interesting story, clear bright graphics with 3 design choices, and plenty of power-ups. But 2 downers, one fairly minor but the other a gigantic drawback (at least for me). First the minor problem: the power-up icons are tiny! The falling ones the player must catch are small, but the "bar" from which you choose a power-up to use has icons so little the game should've had a magnifying glass to find them! For many players this might not be a big deal but for any of us with less than perfect eyesight, the icons are more challenging than the game play! Now for the truly major drawback to this game I really wanted to enjoy: A strict and required timer! Yes, there's a power-up time extender, but not till after level 9 or so and it doesn't show up often. A relaxed option would've made this a much more appealing and desirable game. If these aren't obstacles for you , then you will have an innovative and enjoyable gaming experience. But do try before you buy. I'm recommending the game with some reluctance but it just may be the challenge you're looking for.

I've seen lots of m3 games come and go and many today have involved multi-step matching solutions and plenty of cool (and not so cool!) gimmicks for solving each level. Well, most of this didn't make it into this game yet it's "simplicity" hides a nicely done m3 with only a few minor downers. Some of the items on the grid could be a bit clearer and some power-ups better explained, but neither problem is severe. What would've added a lot to the game would be more movement in the "city" you're rebuilding. It's almost like looking at a painting as nothing moves even when things are being built or changed. But the game does have a relaxed mode and colorful graphics. I suggest giving it a try as you may find it just your thing.
A refreshing, often amusing story, hidden objects galore and a surprisingly appropriate "retro" graphic look make this a welcome game for me. Yes a very few negatives emerged during the demo, but they didn't detract from the fun. The downers? Well, the load time between scenes was somewhat slow and the "sparkles" for hints often got lost in the scene's objects. But there's lots of fun to be had here. It's almost like (imho) the devs are poking gentle fun at more serious and deadly game plots and the often overstated flourishes of modern graphics. The novel idea of choosing what objects will help the hero and the fun spelling search thrown in make this a pleasant gaming experience. I suggest trying it for the full demo but I don't think you'll be disappointed.

An excellent blend of mystery, fantasy and adventure. The graphics are nearly perfect (barring a few too many blue tints in some scenes) and the voices are appropriate and have expression. For me, the 2 outstanding things about this title are the fragmented HO scenes and the many quite unexpected twists and turns in what at first appears to be an "ordinary" detective drama. The plot's faintly humdrum beginning (a missing princess, a bloody long-ago war) soon evolves into a many layered mystery stretching over centuries. The puzzles may seen fairly easy for puzzle experts, but I found them relaxing and solvable. The clarity and sharpness of the graphics makes HO scenes challenging but very playable. It's probably best to play the demo before buying, I highly recommend it as a good game investment.

I'm a big fan of match 3 games. From the "old days" of simplistic colored shapes to today's tricky challenges, there've been lots of great m3's. This one, like Silver Tale and others offers more than just flipping shapes. Bombs, locks, needed (but at first hidden) tools, a "relaxed" option and a good story make this a match3 dream game. No need to hurry, no unforgiving turn counters just challenging excellence with suitable music and a Leprechaun with an endearingly appropriate accent. Give this game a try and you just might feel you've uncovered an m3 treasure!

Based on the intro, I was set to really enjoy (and get spooked out) by this game, but the haunts weren't there, the graphics while clear and colorful wouldn't have scared a toddler, and there were no building choices at all. The m3 is excellently complicated and the Find the Diff" scenes challenging but not frustrating (even with the poor sight I have). But a game about a deamon-destroyed house should raise more shivers, hold some scary surprises and in sum, be more "deamonic". I recommend it for its graphics, gameplay and length, but for atmosphere and/or excitement, well, not so much.
