GREETINGS FELLOW FISHIES
I am just taking a quick dip in the pond today to share my impressions with you regarding Grim Legends 3: The Dark City Collector’s Edition.
First of all let me say that I found the artwork to be truly beautiful. The graphics were bright, lush, richly saturated and very well drawn. I thought that the voice-over acting was quite good in this game and appreciated that it was well synchronized with character lip movements. I also appreciated the background noises, environmental sounds, and the soundtrack. All of these elements allowed a nicely immersive game playing experience.
I enjoy being able to earn achievements as well as locate and collect the entertainingly strange little skeleton dolls. The game plays smoothly, with no glitches in scene transition, inventory item usage or general scene interaction. While this game is a bit lacking in challenge for my particular tastes, it was nonetheless a pleasant surprise to have a game that was closer to an actual adventure game, than the all-to-frequent and market saturated HOGs with which we’ve been inundated lately.
If you’d like a relatively straightforward and relaxing game to play, with an interesting story line and gorgeous graphics, then I think you’ll enjoy Grim Legends 3: The Dark City Collector’s Edition.
HAPPY GAMING!

HELLO FELLOW FISHIES
I just thought I’d take a dip into the pond today to share my impressions of the Blue Tea, Eipix recent game “Dark Parables: The Swan Princess and the Dire Tree”. First of all, I found the graphics to be bright, beautiful, and clearly defined. As always, I appreciate the option of being able to set my own game play mode and set to “custom” as is my usual preference. I enjoy having a map that both transports, indicates available tasks, and objectives. I really enjoy the morphing objects, the collectibles found, and the achievements accomplished being available within the scenes. I enjoyed the sound effects and the background sounds. I also appreciate being able to skip the dialog. It was fun to find the hidden signs and souvenirs. While I did not find the HOPs unpleasant per se, I do wish there had been an alternative game to play. As these old eyes of mine continue to tire, I find HOPs more and more tedious to complete. I enjoyed this game and encourage you to at least try the demo to discover if you enjoy it too.
HAPPY GAMING

HELLO FELLOW FISHIES
I just dropped into the pond today to share with you how much I enjoyed Midnight Calling: Jeronimo Collector’s Edition.
I found the graphics to be well drawn, bright, and well detailed. I found the game play to be smooth and without any glitches. I enjoy being able to use a transportable map and appreciate that it indicates whether or not I have coins to collect and/or tasks available in a particular area. I found the HOPS to be well drawn and fairly easy to see. There were a few items, however, within some of the lists that I had never heard of before and had to resort to random clicking. The puzzles are the highlight of this game for me. While I found them fairly simple and straightforward, they were all fun to play. I enjoy also that within this edition, there are morphing objects to collect. And although I am not normally prone to appreciate “helpers” I actually really found my dragon and other mysterious little friend both to be quite cute (and I’m hoping to find such pets available out here in the “real” world).
Overall, a high quality and enjoyable game.

HELLO FELLOW FISHIES!
I am diving into the pond today to tell you that I really enjoy “Myths of the World: Born of Fire and Clay”!
This game has exceptionally high graphic quality. There is a visually stunning attention to detail, deeply saturated, bright colors, with good contrast and lots of interesting things to look at in each new location. The soundtrack is very good, with crisp environmental sounds, nice sound effects related to using objects or solving puzzles and a very nice musical score.
I appreciate the overall level of difficulty versus ease in the adventure aspects of the game, as well as within the mini games and puzzles. I found game play simple enough not to cause undo frustration, with just enough challenge to make me think a bit. I find the puzzles quite fun to solve. As someone who is not a hidden object enthusiast (old eyes), I love that they gave us an interesting alternative game to play.
This game has souvenirs to collect, 43 fire symbols to find within the locations, 8 animal alchemy symbols to collect, morphing objects and 14 achievements to accomplish. The map transports and, if you like, will indicate areas of interest as well as objectives. As with most collectors editions, there is also a bonus chapter to play.
Overall, I strongly encourage you to give this game at least a trial play to see if you enjoy it as much as I do.
HAPPY GAMING!

GREETINGS FISHIE FRIENDS
This game really got me. I liked and followed the story line, which for me is saying something, because I usually skip them. But in this game I really liked the voice over acting and character interactions.
The graphics lit up my eyes. The colors were lovely and bright, really good quality, fine detail in the drawings. Scene scrolling was seamless, hidden object scenes well drawn and actually entertaining to solve.
The overall gameplay, inventory access and implementation, and task indicating map all functioned perfectly.
This game was interesting, somewhat touching, and a delight to play.
HAPPY GAMING

HELLO FELLOW FISHIE FRIENDS!
I think this game is lots of fun. I love collecting the hearts (Yes, pun intended, sorry ;)
I am a big fan of morphing objects, (of which this game has 42) The game play was smooth and without glitches, scenes changed seamlessly and without lagging and the inventory items were easy to use. Overall, game play was above par.
I found the story line entertaining, although for me, the game play is always much more important, than the story line. I'm not a big fan of hidden object scenes (these old eyes of mine hate to squint!) But I found these clear enough to see and even somewhat fun to solve. I am a big fan of good graphics and I thoroughly enjoyed the bright, well contrasted and deeply saturated colors in both game play and hidden object scenes.
I am a puzzle enthusiast and I found the mini games and puzzles to be enjoyable and very doable. As always, I appreciate a map that transports and lets you know if you have tasks to do somewhere. It frees one from the running back and forth some people find tedious.
I recommend this game.

GREETINGS FISHIE FRIENDS!
Like the other games in the “Grim Tales” series,” The Heir Collector’s Edition” offers lots of things to love. It has beautiful graphics, with sharp, deeply saturated and bright colors. There are clear and uncluttered hidden object scenes, with just the right amount of challenge in finding objects, without making me go cross-eyed. There are many enjoyable puzzles, which allow enough thinking to be interesting, while being easy enough that I don’t see gamers getting frustrated. There are lots of areas and items to discover and explore. I also really appreciate that we get to set our own challenge level, up to and including “Custom”, which I use whenever offered.
Add to that morphing objects within the scenes, several types of collectibles, mini-games within the hidden object scenes, a secret room, multiple achievements a transporting map, that indicates current tasks and player’s location, and a bonus chapter and you have me giving “Grim Tales: The Heir Collector’s Edition” a definite two thumbs up, for a very entertaining game!
Thanks developers and artists and programmers for a great game!
HAPPY GAMING!

What an original, strange and fascinating game! The art work is tongue-in-cheek cartoonish, and the soundtrack impishly light-hearted, especially given that the story line is set in a future of mechanical and robotic prominence, albeit a somewhat rusty and rag-tag presence.
The entire game is a puzzle, in the form of a true adventure game. From the first minute of the game, you are figuring out what on earth you are supposed to do and how to do it. I love that it tickles my brain and makes me scratch my head on occasion.
“Asail” wrote that he/she used the tutorial. I deliberately never do, because I find that figuring out how to use the game system is a large part of the fun. It’s refreshing to play a game that is actually a bit of a challenge. Also, there is something about the environment of this game and the fact that I am constantly figuring things out, that let me lose myself during the gameplay. Thus, for me, playing this game is like a mini vacation from my “normal” life. And that’s a very high recommendation!
Happy gaming!

Hello, Wonderful Fishies
Danse Macabre: Lethal Letters Collector's Edition offers an entertaining blend of adventure gaming and interactive hidden object scenes. I found the balance of more puzzles than hidden objects scenes quite refreshing and enjoyable.
The adventure aspects are somewhat straightforward and not too complex, but do offer an entertaining (if somewhat simple) level of difficulty. The mini-games are a bit on the simple side, but again, enjoyable. One feature I especially appreciate is that, if you prefer, you can try to solve puzzles with the instructions hidden. Otherwise, there is an “Info” button at the bottom of the screen, with game instructions.
Overall, I found the graphics in this game to be well drawn, with bright, deep color saturation, and sharp contrast. The scenes are interesting to look at and there is a hidden “Hand-bell” to find in each scene. The color scheme is clear and colorful, even within the hidden object scenes. While the hidden object scenes are junk piles, they are clearly drawn and one is able to locate the objects fairly quickly and without undue squinting.
If one finds hidden object scenes to be either tedious or a bit of an eyestrain, I am very happy to say that there is an alternative “Match-3” game to play.
The soundtrack, sound effects and voice-over acting are all well done. The musical score is pleasant and story-tone appropriate. Though, I must admit, that for my personal taste, there is a bit more dialogue and interacting with characters than I particularly prefer. On the other hand, for those of you who enjoy story-line, it does move along nicely.
The game offers four levels of difficulty for game play: Casual, Medium, Hard and Custom. I always play on Custom, when given the choice. In this game I appreciated the options of turning off the glitter in active areas, as well as being allowed to turn off the HOP error penalty.
There is a map which one can use for transport, as well as to indicate “Objectives” and “Areas of Interest”. There are “plus items” in the inventory, which one combines, or completes, before their use in game play. There are 13 “Achievements” to accomplish. Game-play is smooth and without glitches.
I highly recommend this game.
Happy Gaming!

I thoroughly enjoyed this game. For me, it is quite refreshing to have an actual adventure game. In this game you use your intuition to click on various parts of a scene to discover areas that have puzzles within them. Pure hidden object enthusiasts may be disappointed, but for those of us who love adventure games, this one is delightful. I do wish the graphics were brighter and more deeply saturated, but having said that, they are still fine. The game-play is enjoyable and I found it straightforward. Thanks developers for an entertaining game that isn’t redundant to the vast majority of recently released games!
