I thought this was going to be a fun game but, man, was I ever mistaken. Only reason for the 2 stars is the graphics aren't too bad.
This turned out to be the typical, now familiar find this to open that to go here and find something else to go somewhere else and open another thing, etc., etc. That is so boring.
I did play the whole demo hoping it would get better but it didn't.
Characters are annoying and not very helpful and tend to irk me.
Needless to say, I don't recommend this game at all.

Finally, a HOG with some substance

This game started slow for me and I almost quit after 15 minutes to write a bad review, but, I decided to play a little longer and I am so glad I did.
This game has all the earmarks of a terrific game. Graphics are great although busy at times, voices match the characters. people are actually drawn real life, HO games offer just enough challenge and the story moves along in just the right order and speed. The mini games are some of the best I've ever played. Usually they are so boring that I skip them but the ones in this game deserve to be played and not skipped.
You may have to hunt for something to open or use something else but there isn't the constant no reason back and forth garbage so common in the games these days.
I won't go in to a long speel about the game and all it's different quirks because I know others will and thus give away the game, (which I wish they wouldn't) I will say that I haven't enjoy an HOG like this in a long time.
I'm going to see if there is a SE of this game and hope it is just as fun. If not then I will break down and use 2 credits on this one.

Occasionally I try match 3 games even though I am not a fan because I do run across some that are fun to play. This one, however, doesn't fit in that category. The graphics are washed out and not that colorful and the story line is lame at best.
This is just your typical match 3 to gain resources to build a town underwater and attract residents. Boooorrrrriiiiinnnngggg! You'd think these developers would try to do better to attract buyers. Oh well, I don't recommend this one.

I have been waiting for this type of hidden object for ages. A game that has a believable story line, HOs that don't send you back and forth for no reason and graphics that are actually nice.
This one is a little slow getting into but once you do the fun factor kicks in and this is a rather enjoyable game. Not quite a 5 star but put a half star after my 4.
The HOs are challenging as are the mini games and that is another enjoyable part of this game.
I'm not going into a long description of the game 'cause I know others will so all I will add is I highly recommend this game and as soon as I finish the demo it will be bought.

This started as 80 to 90 percent of these games do. You are summoned to somewhere mysterious by someone you are related to or is an acquaintance and on the way of course you have a wreck just outside your destination and weird things start to happen.
And so starts the back and forth getting nowhere action. This is an odd game in that you have a choice of dialects in some areas which completely change the game so, to get the whole effect, you would have to buy the game and play both options. Yeah, right, not in this household.
Another thing that stumped me is the horseman in the cemetery. Thinking he is your enemy and you must defeat him, turns out he's a really nice guy and just wants to help along with his raven who is his "eyes".
Graphics are way to dark and grainy for me and some of the HO games could have been better executed.
Overall, this isn't really a bad game, just not a good game.
Play the demo and decide for yourself. I can't really recommend this one.

I'm usually a fan of Elephant games but this one left me cold. The storyline is weak at best and it is the constant back and forth, get no where scenario that is so popular with developers these days.
In this one, they throw things in just for the heck of it such as the clown. He had no reason to be there at all simply because he was so easy to remove. Graphics weren't even up to par for this developer and the action was lame.
Got through first part of the demo (finally) and was transported to some other part of the game that seemed totally unrelated.
I've played 52 minutes of this game and that is enough for me.
Don't buy this just based on reviews because I think you'll be disappointed. Play the demo and then decide.

Many reviewers have given an overview of this game so I won't bother. All I can say is this is a very frustrating game in that you are jumping all over the place playing these senseless games and seemingly getting nowhere. If it wasn't for the zoom factor in the HO's you wouldn't get anywhere and you wouldn't get there fast.
Only reason I gave this 2 stars is because of the colors. I like colorful games but that is where the praise for this game ends.
I played the demo to the end and was left scratching my head and thinking, "huh?".
I do not recommend this game unless you enjoy a game that is frustrating and leaves you brain dead.

They have finally seen the errors of their ways and improved the Hidden Expedition series, at least with this one. We are finally back to the great game play beautiful graphics, accurate historical facts and challenging HO's and puzzles. This is a definite add to my collection.
Although this started slow and the first reviews were not good, it quickly picked up the pace and became a nail biter. The HO games were necessary and not just a time filler and the puzzles and mini games had great challenge. I'll definitely buy this one to go back and replay the games I had to skip because of the demo time constraints.
Read all the reviews and play the demo before deciding to buy. I think you Hidden Expedition fans will be pleased.

Wish there were 1/2 star ratings because this one is better than a 4 but not quite a 5. Loved the way this one flows and never gets boring with the constant back and forth that is so prevalent these days. All the seek and find objects are straight forward and help the story along. Puzzles are fun with just enough challenge to keep your interest up and the HO's add to the fun.
Sadly, the demo ended too soon so this is a buy for me to see where the fascinating story goes.
I highly recommend this game and suggest you pay attention to the ratings which is something I rarely advise.

When you see only 5 star reviews your mind is tricked into thinking this might be a good game. WRONG!! This has to be one of the most ridiculous games I have ever played. First, the controls are so archaic that they are laughable. Haven't seen a game that only used the keyboard in years. This might be a better game if the mouse came into play. And the graphics! They are completely old school. Evidently the company that makes this game hasn't come into the 21st century yet.
Played all of 7 minutes of the demo before I became bored.
This is one game that should not be considered even with the 5 star ratings.
