I have other Puppet Show games and they are pretty nice however this one leaves something out. When this series first came out I bought the first one and 2 others later but the uniqueness has left the series. They are just a series of HO's and mini games that keep you hopping back and forth and getting nowhere which seems to be the premise in games these days. Graphics are not up to par and at times are downright cartoonish and laughable. Story is weak and almost used as a background to try and pull everything else together. Doesn't work. I can't recommend this one especially compared to their earlier works.
This is a very confusing game. I understand the matching part but couldn't figure out what I was supposed to shop for. Graphics are nice but music is annoying and story leaves something to be desired. Some of you gamers may like this type of game but I'm not one of them. Have fun but I don't recommend this one.
This game has great graphics. Very detailed and the people actually look lifelike. But that is as far as the fun goes. When they talk there is no skip so you just click fast to get through. Evidently, lead characters aunt went back in time and they are trying to find her. All this really is is a series of HO's and puzzles and mini games that have little to do with the game. I actually became tired of having to do so many. Some people may like this type of game and, like I said, the graphics are rather good but it isn't for me. So, with that said, I don't recommend this one.
When the opening came up and I saw who it was by, I knew I'd like it. I have the Lost in Night by this company and I love it. This game didn't disappoint. You have 3 different ways to solve the match puzzles, group, swap and chain. Goes pretty fast and you eventually by structures for your town and, I guess, fish. Graphics are good but could be tweaked a little and music was great. This is a good leisure game and great way to just have fun. I recommend this one. Only reason this didn't get 5 stars was the graphics not up to par.
This has to be one of the worst games on Big Fish. I started with the tutorial which was fine and I enjoyed that but then you get in the game and sit there scratching your head wondering what is going on. I sat and watched the backstory and then the credits for a good 10 minutes before I could even begin the game. Bad part is you can't skip or fast forward or anything, you just have to sit and watch which became boring. I might have played a total of 2-3 minutes of what I guess was the actual game before I quit in frustration. When you exit there is nothing that pops up and asks if you want to save the game so, of course , you assume it is automatic. Wrong! I went back into the game later and there is a 'Load game' button. You hit that and there isn't a saved game so you have to start from the beginning which is not what I wanted. I do not understand any rating over 1 star on this one at all. It just isn't there. I do not recommend this one at all, I don't even recommend the demo. Leave it alone.
I have played other MCF games before and some have been ok. Although the opening cutscene is above average, that is where the praise ends. This has one of my biggest gripes concerning games of this type, they are drawn dark and unimaginative as though if color was added there would have to be more emphasis on detail. This was not pleasant to play. The characters added nothing to the game either. They were not animated very well and spoke in the childilike voices again. Come on, these are adults. HO's turned out to be very cumbersome and the puzzles added nothing other than to waste time. I cannot recommend this one.
I am not a big fan of time management games but every once in awhile one will come along that i like so I at least try all the interesting looking ones. This fit in that scenario so I tried it. Graphics are about average with plenty of color and nice scenery. Nothing dark in this one. Play is typical time management and moves along at a good pace although it does tend to get a little redundant at times. Characters are nothing special and there is not any real appeal to them. Redeeming factor is you can pick either timed or casual mode which is nice. Since, as I said, I am not a big fan of TM I always play in the casual mode. Die hard TM fans will probably like timed better. Overall a nice little game especially for the younger set so I recommend it with reservations. Play the demo and decide for yourself. Have fun.
Finally, a game I can get into. Not your typically mindless HO game where all you do is HO's. This one actually has a story behind it and you are called in to solve the mystery.
Love the music. It fits in with the theme of the story and sounds great. Not really a tune just great background music
Graphics are good and scary. Not dark but not overly bright either. Perfect for this game.
HO's are fun and you actually find something you can use in the game. Puzzles and mini games are fun.
Only thing that would make this a perfect game would be an interactive map. You do have to do a lot of running back and forth but that's ok in this one.
I highly recommend this game for those who like the different HO.
Usually Elephant games are pretty good. I have purchased a few and enjoyed them but I think with this one the developers children snuck into the game room and wrote this game. This is entirely childish.
Graphics are not up to par and are on the amateur side. Although I do like that they put color into it and didn't make it a dark game.
The story doesn't make any sense at all. The sculpture will make a statue of your loved one, have it come to life but can't control it's actions so it may adore you or kill you. Oh joy, just what I need.
The HO's and puzzles are a joke and have nothing to do with the game other than to find something to open something to find something else and so on and so on. I hate this type of game play. I want the puzzles to have meaning and add to the story, not detract.
I can't recommend this game at all but, as another reviewer said, at least try the demo.
Either I keep getting different games than everyone else or I'm missing something. I have not had any scenes like those shown on this trial board. I don't get it. I read some of the 5 star comments, which tend to be way too long, and what they said doesn't match anything I played. This is not a fun game, boring, yes, but fun, no. It is one of those typical back and forth games that goes nowhere fast. I kept playing just to see if it gets better, it doesn't. The graphics are pure junk. Somebody needs to to back to art class and learn how to use colors. Not very pleasing to the eye. The HO's and mini games are amateurish at best and lend nothing to the overall game. I don't recommend this one at all.
