This sequel was done superbly! I felt like I was in a movie because it was so realistic with vivid cutscenes along with great sound and vo's. HO scenes were interactive with option of majong and so many collectibles available along with achievements. Not too many games that can immerse you fully into it but this one accomplished just that. It will definitely be a buy for me!
I recommend this game!

Even though I don't know much about golf, I enjoyed the mechanics of this game. It was fun to earn stars and achievements and always fun to see how you compare to other players on the scoreboard. I especially liked all of the different themes of golf courses to play on, each with their special music or sound effects. The VO's are kind of funny too. A game worth playing!
I've played Big Fish games for many years now and consider myself an expert in HO/Adventure games but I have to say that this is the best developed game I have ever played so far. It excels in everything about it from graphics to sounds and ingenious ways things are done in the game. There's lots to do so it's the most entertaining game I have played. The CE version is most definitely worth the money this time.
I own all of the Phantasmat games and because of ERS' good quality, they usually don't disappoint. The graphics in this game were fantastic as usual and voiceovers very fitting to the characters. Puzzles were easy but fun and a nice option of toggling back and forth from the regular HO to match 3 to get objects. I enjoyed all of the mechanics of this game and even though for a CE it doesn't have all of the "extras" that we like, it is still fun and interesting.
I agree with some in that I'm not usually drawn to Christmas games which typically seem more juvenile but when I read a review that mentioned this one was by Elephant games, knowing what a great game developer they are, I decided to give it a try and I loved everything about it. Just enough adventure along with HOS to make it a great game, not to mention the beautiful graphics and sound. I love getting achievements as well. Great game to get you in the right mood for Christmas!
The residents of Bitterford, Maine have fallen prey to a terrible curse. It’s up to you to unravel the series of mysterious events that led to the town’s downfall and uncover the evil that was responsible.
I own ALL of the previous MCF games and I have to agree with a lot of the other reviews in that I was hoping for more of the "fantasy type graphics" that some of the previous MCF's used to have before the developers started integrating "live people" into them. The graphics used to be beautifully drawn and I really miss that. So needless to say, I was also disappointed like many others. I have to admit though that there were some new and interesting techniques used in this game. The storyline seems very interesting so I will probably buy this CE just to add to my collection of MCF games. Sorry BF but I hope you can bring back some nostalgic MCF characteristics in any more upcoming ones.
I own the previous Brink of Consciousness game and loved it and this one hasn't disappointed me. A very well developed game and realistic characters with good voice overs. There's a lot of running back and forth but it definitely holds your interest. This game really reminds me of some of the Sherlock Holmes games I've played. Mysteries like this usually always make for a really good game. Puzzles aren't really difficult. Very good continuation of the Brink theme.
Not exactly an outstanding game but I have to say the storyline is creepy but interesting and different. Anytime there is someone you're chasing after, you find yourself getting more and more immersed in the adventure. The scenes were well done, music was suitable and the mini games were pretty easy. Had to run around alot to figure out where to go next but hints are helpful and on casual mode quick to recharge. Pretty good twist on red riding hood story.
I own the previous Haunted Legends games and have always enjoyed their unique themes. I think I like this undertaker theme the best. I'm surprised there aren't more HO games with zombies in them. They really add a "cool" factor to this haunted legend mystery. Graphics, as always, were done very well along with the background music and voice overs. Just enough HOS but not overdone. It's always fun to collect an extra item throughout the game and in this case, it's fish scales. I'm not exactly overwhelmed with this game but it's very entertaining to play. Mini games are pretty challenging but good.
This game was just ok. Nothing spectacular. More on the side of boring. Almost quit playing during the demo but kept going because I had nothing better to do at the time. Definitely not a purchase for me. I'm spoiled to the more well developed games that bring more excitement.
