Why would I pay for a game when you can get very similar to this elsewhere on the internet for free? Think angry birds, but with a cat. Zero instructions.
This is a cross between poker and solitaire. You have to make hands which rank like poker, with better scores for the better hand you get, whilst eliminating all the cards on the board.
I enjoyed this game from the start and was a definite buy for me. I do like poker and card games, but they are often the same, but this was a bit different. It's easy at first, but then gets harder, and I've had to replay a few rounds to win. I turned the music off immediately, as I usually do, but the general sounds of the game are quite good, and not annoying. Although I prefer to be able to adjust the level of the sound, rather than just on/off, There are a few technical niggles, as the game often refuses to play in full screen mode, I don't know why, but it might be to do with my settings, but I just play "normal" screen mode instead.
Negatives is that you build up money quite slowly, and some of the extra help and bonuses can be quite expensive, how ANYONE can earn over $100,000 for some of the extra help, I don't know. Plus, you can't replay a level later. You can replay immediately, but you can't go back and replay earlier levels to gain more money! You can if you buy the bonus, but the bonus is very expensive! Plus you NEED money to buy bonuses and help to help you achieve a 3 star finish, which gains you more money! You need to spend money to get money.
What seems to be the most annoying part, is that the game seems very short, so I haven't been able to build up money (or play for very long). I only appear to be able to play one tour: "USA East Tour". There is NO WAY you could earn the money to get over $100,000 to get the advanced multiple helps. Now, I have finished the USA East Tour, but can't seem to advance. I can't see where the button is to continue, nor does it state anywhere if I have to have earned enough stars or money to continue. I don't know if it's just me not noticing it, but the game is very short and ridiculous if it IS this short!
Good game, overall, but could be better with a few simple tweeks, such as being able to replay levels without having to spend a massive amount to do so, as well as not being so flipping short!!
The graphics are several years old, as are the sound effects. After the first level, I couldn't get 3 stars, as obviously you had to hit a certain can for it to cascade to knock the others over. Working that out was boring, as it seemed to have nothing to do with skill, and 100% luck. This reminds me of those games you can get free all over the internet, and have been able to do for years. And enjoyable for about 5 minutes max, then get bored. There is a reason why these type of games are all over for free.
(Time management? Seriously? How desperate must BF be to pretend this is a TM game to those people who don't like HOG's?)
Er......no buy for me.
I don't recommend this game.

Bejeweled 3
Escape to the biggest, brightest Bejeweled ever! Discover all-new ways to play the world's #1 puzzle game!
I've never been a fan of M3 games, as I've found them to be all the same (in my brief try of a few), and get boring after 15 minutes of play. However, I LOVE this one! I don't know if it's my hangover state, and that my brain has turned to mush, but I have been playing this for literally hours! I don't know what made me download it, but I am glad I did.
The graphics are lovely, and the sound effects are fun (I tuned the music off). And I love that there is not any stupid story line, it's just a simple M3 game, no un-necessaries!
First off, I played "Classic" to get used to it, but got bored quite quickly with that, but then I tried some of the other challenges, like the butterflies and the poker, which I loved! I am now playing the jewel one, where you have to get the diamonds and gold in the mine. I LOVE this one, and have had to wrench myself away from it! LOL.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a convert to M3 games, and I reckon that most others will be rubbish compared to this one, but I DO love this one!
It's nice to see a TM game after the usual weeks and week of HOG. This game is overall okay and fun. It's easy to learn how to play.
Graphics are dated and I don't like that you can only have the sound on or off. The game can be irritating in that you don't always know if you've clicked, or you have to click again when you already have and the cars drive off. And the drivers sometimes don't decide if they want a burger or not til last minute, so you can't always click them to go to the exit. You can only use one bonus at a time, which is irritating, as you don't know which one you'll need most. Plus, I'd like to update the garage quicker, as you might have enough money, but the upgrade isn't available!
Despite this, I do enjoy the game.
I recommend this game!

Toy Defense 3 - Fantasy
Perfect the skills of warriors, build defensive fortresses, and devise strategy to dominate the enemy’s army. Rid your lands of evil once and for all!
This is the third installment (obviously) of the Toy Defense games, and is 1000x better than the other two, IMO. I like the fantasy side of it so much better than the tanks and soldiers, and the overall game play is far better, with superior graphics and colours. It's a totally different TD game to the others. In fact, it is the best game from BF in a LONG time.
Many TD games are often VERY hard, to the point where they are almost unplayable, so just get frustrating. But this is a little gem! Yes, it IS still very hard at times, but is it very playable. I like the various routes you can go to each defender, thus opening the field more and it's enjoyable finding out which weapon/defender kill which monsters.
There are many levels, which makes it good value for money, especially as some levels do take a few attempts to get, especially later on. I
The graphics are very good, as are the sound effects.
There are one or two minor quibbles I have, but I have submitted a more extensive review in the forum for this game.
I have played the game for 40 minutes in demo. The game is very similar to Plants Vs Zombies, although lacks the charm and humour that PvZ has. You plant seeds (instead of suns), and collect the fruit produced to gain points to buy weapons to shoot at the enemy. The enemy are pigs dressed up as various pirates or bandits, it seems. The graphic of the girl in the cowboy outfit seems to bare no resemblance to the game itself, unless I missed something in the introduction.
It's enjoyable enough, and it's a welcome change from the week upon week of HOG and M3 games. It seems harder than PvZ so far, but not ridiculously hard like some of the TD games around. Some of the weapons are amusing enough, but I CANNOT work out how the "cages" work! Nothing happens when I click on them, then on the pig.
The game is fun enough, and I will probably buy it after the demo is over.
Really enjoyed this game all the way through. It's not just a click-fest like A LOT of TM are; you have to think what to build first, think what task to complete first, think about what resources you need most etc etc. The graphics are reasonably okay (good enough), and there are plenty of levels to play. Some of the levels are quite tough, and I had to restart on some of them. Some I managed with 3 stars, some I only got 1. The only criticism I have is that the power-ups don't last long. Otherwise, a great game.
This is not my usual type of game, but I thought I'd give it a go, as it looked a bit different. I didn't really like it. I couldn't get off the first level before I got bored! I didn't realise, at first, that in order to get rid of the gold squares, you have to surround them with swaps. But if one swap is missing (ie a symbol next to it) is missing - you CANNOT win. So if you make one "mistake", so the symbol next to it (usually for me, at the top right or left) was gone, you were finished. End of. No way out. I don't know if this was my inexperience (which I suspect was part of it), or if this game is just annoying, because once I realised this, I STILL couldn't finish.....okay, I could have gone into relax mode, but I couldn't be bothered, I could have played the level again (for the 5th time), but I couldn't be bothered.
I'm not playing a game where the instructions/game play is so hard I can't get off the first level after 4 tries.
I am sure more experienced players will have more luck, but not for me. I just got irritated.
