It’s a hit! The all-time favorite naval battle game is reloaded for PC and Mac! Launch strikes with mouse-driven precision as you destroy enemies in Classic mode or Salvo mode.
The concept of Battleships is quite simple and enjoyable, but I didn't like this game for several reasons: The graphics are a bit weird. 3D is not needed, and the constant waves got on my nerves as it was the same over and over. I found it difficult to tell if my ship was destroyed or not, as it wasn't obvious by the graphics of the exploding ship - until I realised ship status was at the bottom of the graph. I found the noise truly AWFUL. It was all or nothing. The constant sound of the waves crashing and the thunder and lightning was irritating. If you hit a target, you don't get another go straight away, as in normal battleship. The game was monotonous. I actually quite like Battleships, but it took so long for each go, it was frustrating.
When the game crashed after 10 minutes, I left. I was thinking of doing so anyway.
(I have repeated this review elsewhere, so sorry if you've read this twice).
I also had a problem with the rotation of the screen, but once I found you just clicked on the zoom on the right, it was okay. I really enjoyed this game, and it was enough of a challenge to make it interesting. I had to start again a few times on the later levels. Some of the weapons are useless, so I just stuck to 3 weapons and concentrated on them and upgrading. The sound effects were good and as for the music being distracting......I just turned it off! :-) I did finish the game rather quickly as there weren't many levels and would have liked some more. I also found it very addictive.
I'm now going to see if there is another game of this type.
I was pleased when I realised this was like the Bistro Boulevard game and within a few minutes, I knew I'd buy it. I like these kind of time management games, where it's not just a massive click-fest. It's much slower paced and you can upgrade and achieve the goals as you wish. You can also move onto the next shop as long as you have enough stars, you don't have to achieve every goal beforehand.
If you are getting stuck having to move your staff around, as another reviewer said, it's best to upgrade to more staff and training first. it's easier and you don't have to have every outfit available straight away. Plus, to save money, I put one person on the till and don't let them go anywhere else and *just* upgrade their "till" skills. Same with the changing room person when I have enough staff. The other two work shop floor and greeting.
Another positive is that you can change wallpaper and flooring straight-away to the design you like as it doesn't cost anything.
Best BF TM game for some time. Hurrah for something that doesn't get me irritated and become just a clicking game!
I recommend this game!

I've only played the first hour on this, and have just bought it. I found it weird that there was no one in the shop at first, to serve customers. But you still serve them. You can upgrade to get a waiter, but then you have to wait to upgrade him in order for him to work! But once upgraded, he works automatically. I am playing the game un-timed, as I prefer that, and once I have completed the game, I may do it timed. The game is quite good, as I don't drink coffee, so I've had to learn all the different coffee styles. The game, so far, is a nice pace. I am just waiting to get another waiter/ess, but you have to get 3 stars for that and it seems to be taking ages. What I also like, so far anyway, is that the customers don't get angry within 0.5secs of placing an order.
The game is okay, but could be improved; ie you can't click on more than one thing at once, so you can't pick up some ice-cream and a croissant, you have to get them separately. The waiter can be slow, especially at first. The game does take some time to build.
I didn't enjoy this at all. Most frustrating of all is the inability to right-click to deliver. Okay you can left-hold, but that doesn't work well. The graphics are flat. This game just doesn't work for me. Uninstalled after 15 or 20 minutes play.
I don't recommend this game.

This game is addictive and fun. Easy to learn to play. The graphics are great and the sound effects are funny at times (eg when a zombie says, "brains....") It's very original and I love it!
I recommend this game!

I love this game, and everyone who I know who has had a go on it ends up downloading it and getting addicted to it as well. Great graphics, easy to learn, fun to play. Possibly the best game BF has ever had.
I have already submitted a review on the forum. Truly the worst game I have ever wasted my life on. See my review for details. 1 star is too much for this misogynistic nasty game
