Travel from the deepest trenches of the Atlantic Ocean to the awe-inspiring wonders of Mars as you solve the greatest archeological puzzle known to man: the origin of Atlantis.
Wow, didn't see that coming! Story took a 90 degree turn, but I hope the reviewers don't spill the beans on this one. If you plan on playing this game, be someone who enjoys storyline. Without it, you will find the map navigation too easy, and the puzzles meaningless. If you are following the story, the puzzles are part of the plot, and are not overly taxing, but just a fun diversion. Not all HOG items are immediately visible on your list of objects to find, and some items are hidden. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Howlville: The Dark Past
Many years ago, mysterious events separated Rachel and her father. Help find him and save the world from catastrophe!
This time, you've already escaped from the asylum and the game begins there.
LOTS of hidden object items to find, but as previous reviewers have stated, hidden object puzzles are very interactive with mini-games included. Mouse over EVERYTHING! Graphics are great, but not movie quality. Music can be very ominous - especially that Fog horn at the house (shuddering now as I think about it). Hidden objects were easy to see, just tricky to find. Hints have to be earned in the form of lightbulbs, and do not replenish themselves. I never had more than a couple of hints during the trial period.
Worth checking out.

Well done developers!

Infected: The Twin Vaccine Collector’s Edition
A new breed of virus has spread throughout the City of Oxford. You must search the city for a missing girl who holds the key to stopping the global epidemic!
Interesting story concerning a virus, no ghosts or demons, excellent graphics, the new style HOS require that you find items and use them in order to find all objects, fairly easy puzzles so far, and yes, there is some back and forth, but that is to be expected since you are in an abandoned town and you are looking into a mystery!
Enjoy.

Mystic Diary: Missing Pages
Stop a black magician from gaining immortality and destroying the world!
Played it for the full hour, and I loved the adventure aspect of this game. Lots of inventory items to discover and some HO scenes to put up with (adventurers know what I mean). Puzzles are not new, but they post a decent amount of challenge without being frustrating. There is some backtracking to use an item a few scenes away that you just picked up or to revisit a HOS, but this time to find all the keys to find that "special" one. Hint will show you where to use an object, so if hint is not helpful for anything you have in inventory, then perhaps you missed picking something up. I didn't notice a map, but I was having such a good time, I honestly didn't think about it. I'll probablly get this game.

Royal Detective: The Lord of Statues Collector's Edition
Save the besieged alpine village of Martlet and rescue its residents from the mysterious living statues in this exciting Hidden Object Adventure game!
Unbelievably well done. The game will definately be a part of my collection. Just put a checkmark next to everything you would ever wanted in a game - I think they've been listening to us. Won't even think twice about getting the collector's edition, after what I just played, I'm hooked. Great for casual gamers all the way to hardcore.

Eastville Chronicles: The Drama Queen Murder
Solve a murder in the world famous Eastville Opera House! The Queen of Drama, Dolores Molinero has been killed and the suspect is still at large.
LOTS of hidden objects, but the story moved fairly quickly. I made it to the 4th Level - house. Dinky and "old school", but entertaining little mini games. Nothing was hard about this, but somehow, I enjoyed myself.

Time Chronicles: The Missing Mona Lisa
The Mona Lisa has been stolen! Travel between the past and present to gather clues and unravel a sinister plot.
Had a quiet afternoon so I played it for the full hour. I agree, enter location HOG, enter new location HOG. They were so persistent that I just started clicking on everything to make them go away faster to I could to enjoy the "logic" puzzles if you can call them that. How can we get the critter out of the hole? Maybe something tasty! Simple, Simples games. Storyline is predictable, but enjoyable. A bit of a translation problem - locker key called locket key, etc. I estimate that I finished over 50% of my game in the hour. I'd recommend on a great sale for those who like this kind of thing.

Spirit Walkers: Curse of the Cypress Witch
After their hiking trip takes a tragic turn, a group of friends are forced to travel between realms to undo an old wrong and save the Cypress Witch.
Fairly simple puzzles (so far), but cute storyline - don't want to give anything away! More logic puzzles than HOG, multiple characters to interact with. Yes, there is some switching back and forth between scenes, but it blocks you from going too far. Well done!
