After playing the demo and being captivated about what would happen next, I bought it immediately and spent the whole morning playing it. Sadly it has come to an end (abruptly), but there is definately room for a sequel. Fun puzzles, interesting storyline, occassional hidden object scenes and it moves forward fairly quickly. This game comes with a full strategy guide, and hints as needed. Hey, I enjoyed my time in the game thoroughly. Thank you Big Fish!

Pahelika: Revelations
Return to the world of Pahelika as there is trouble brewing in the land of Dhara! Go on a whole new Adventure in Pahelika: Revelations!
This game is for those who love adventure games. Sparkles indicate what to interact with, but can be turned off in the menu options. I did not play the 1st Pahelika, so there was a bit of a learning curve, but not bad. Lots of magic and potions to make (at least during the demo) and teleportation is the mode of travel. The game peaked my interest, but it wasn't a "gotta get it" feeling. I'll probably go back and play the first one before I play this one. It has references to the first game, so I feel kinda left out of part of the story.
I recommend this game!

Between the Worlds II: The Pyramid
Explore a world ruled by both technology and magic and unveil the pyramid’s power in Between the Worlds II: The Pyramid!
I always HAVE to check out games that everybody hates. No, it's not just your run of the mill hidden object game with a few puzzles, it's more like an old-time adventure game with a few hidden objects that you can use to solve puzzles. I applaud their attempt to be a bit different, but you have to like the true adventure game to even have a chance of liking this game. I actually quite enjoyed it. However, it goes slowly and methodically - no rushing here, and your hints can be very vague. This game is not a super game, but for those who like the genre, it is more for the ex-adventurer who wants a nudge as to what to do from time to time, or for someone new to adventure who wants a bit more hand holding than more true adventures provide. Not excellent, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Natural Threat: Ominous Shores
Use your powers of observation to save your friends from the genetic aberrations that populate a forgotten island in Natural Threat: Ominous Shores!
I thoroughly enjoyed what I played of this game. I wasn't stumped by any of the puzzles, but so far, they have all been enormously fun! TOTALLY different storyline than what we have had recently, and after an hour of play, I can't tell you what's going to happen. In fact, it is so diffeent, that I wouldn't spoil it by telling you anything about it. However, if you have a fear of bugs, then this game may not be for you. Beautiful graphics, nice soundtrack, and a nice blend of adventure, hidden object and puzzles.
I recommend this game!

Depths of Betrayal Collector's Edition
Stop a mechanical monster before it destroys an entire town in Depths of Betrayal! Uncover the truth and stop the terrifying machine!
I won't repeat what others have said, but I'll try to explain this game. In order to progress in the story you must move your mouse over the screen until something becomes a hand, gear or eye. If a hand, then click that spot to either pick something up to use in the future, or game will show you a circle indicating that there are 4-5 more items to find. When you've found them all (can be on multiple screens), game gives you access the the item you wanted in the first place. If a gear, then something you have,or will have, in inventory will work. If an eye, you can zoom closer. I am an adventure lover, but this game irritated me more than enthralled me. As others have said, some will love it, others... not so much, which is why I tried to explain the gameplay completely. It was not my favorite.

The Surprising Adventures of Munchausen
The Heart of the Kingdom has been destroyed and now it’s up to Munchausen to save the day in this fun Hidden Object game!
Logic meets Incredible Machine meets Adventure meets HOG. Game was pure fun - not SUPER challenging (yet) but just fun. There are new type puzzles and old type puzzles, but all the old type puzzles had a new wrapping. I didn't even mind the find the differences puzzle, and I don't ever like those. Lets see, there was a slider puzzle, a logic puzzle, a comparison puzzle, an association puzzle, progression puzzle, a HOG and a story of a Princess being sacrificed to save the kingdom. What more can you ask?

Otherworld: Spring of Shadows
Use a mystical locket to explore a magical world and save a young girl in Other world: Spring of Shadows!
I enjoyed the game. On casual mode the puzzles were different, but fairly simple with a little bit of logic mixed in. Nice voice overs, good drawn graphics. Hidden objects were not a list of objects, it was a bit different. You might need to find 15 pieces of one object, then jigsaw them together on the next mini game. Overall, very cute.
I so enjoyed this game. After playing the Collector's Edition, and trying to control myself, I waited until the Standard Edition came out. But, after playing the Standard Edition, I realized that I want to see the WHOLE game, so I changed my mind and am going to get the Collector's Edition.
Hidden Object/Adventure game with a very interesting story. Graphics and sound is of excellent quality, and hidden object challenges made me feel like Khan of Star Trek... THERE YOU ARE! Everything is hidden in plain sight, nothing is what I consider grainy, and I loved figuring out what to do next and how to use what I had in my inventory. Yes, you do have to travel back to previous scenes, but it makes sense within the game. Both times I played I was just devastated when my time was up.
As I said... I know this is a review for the SE, but I'm going to get the Collector's Edition! :-)
I recommend this game!

Sea Legends: Phantasmal Light
After their yacht is sunk by an incredible storm, Jane and Mike are separated in Sea Legends: Phantasmal Light!
This is an adventuresque hidden object game. This game includes backtracking through scenes, having a bunch of stuff in inventory that has no place yet and a possibility for a good story line. The puzzles have been fun, but not overly challenging, and there are quite a few hidden object areas, but the hint button restores quickly. Both times I played it (CE and SE) I was startled when it was over, so I MUST have been having fun!
I recommend this game!

The Agency of Anomalies: Cinderstone Orphanage Collector's Edition
Save the souls of prodigy children and their caretaker who disappeared during the fire in The Agency of Anomalies: Cinderstone Orphanage!
Mix of Hidden Object and adventure, it's an interesting story with lots of areas to explore. By the end of the demo my inventory was chock full of items I needed to place somewhere... LOVED it. I came across a hidden object area from time to time, but they made some of them different and interesting enough to keep me entertained. I find that if I am just clicking all over the place, then I'm aggravated at finding items. In this game, I wanted to find each piece. Puzzles I came across were not hard, but enjoyable. Good job developers!
